I smoked weed randomly, on social occasions, and not out of peer pressure but really to see why everyone just LOVES it and HAS TO HAVE it so much. I didn't feel anything from it.

I did cocaine twice the past year, and my first experience was a lot better than the second. Each were from different sources as well. I was at a club in LA the first time and drinking, so the next day I at least didn't feel woozy from the alcohol but I was TIRED. More tired and lethargic than I've ever felt in my life. The second time I tried it my face, tongue, and hands went numb and I ate a lot of Taco Bell and blogged in my room while crying. After that I thought, "Yep I've experienced this." and continued on living fine without it.

I do love alcohol though. Not to the point I crave it, but if I'm at a bar - I'm ordering something. I love gummy bear shots, BJ shots, beer, fuzzy navels, screwdrivers, cranberry & vodka, etc. But it bugs me when people use drinking alcohol or drugs as a bragging right (not you, goatcat, mores people I know) I have a friend who is constantly talking about how much wine she drinks, and to me that's just silly. :/

3 personal planets in 12th

Same here. many drugs have a negative affect on me. Things don't turn out right when I take medicine most the time, either, unless it's something like antibiotics. I thought it was due to moon opp Neptune. Could be a twelfth house thing since it's opposite the sixth.[/B][/QUOTE]

Me too.
But most of the time, the antibiotics don't work, then I'm put on a steroid, then it's still not better. The cycle repeats.
I've found time to be the best medicine.

I do have the Moon in the 12th in Vedic.

Drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are all pointless.

Never did them, not ever going to.
There's simply no gain.

I've never smoked cigarettes because I see the effects they have on people. I've smoked tobacco before though. It gives you a buzz, and that's it. In order to feel the buzz again you have to inhale the tobacco, and once the tobacco is gone, so is your "buzz", unlike mari which has a lasting high

I've been asked to try DMT but since I already have had such a history of paranormal events, I'm afraid to go there!

quote:
Psychedelics have a long history of traditional use in medicine and religion, where they are prized for their perceived ability to promote physical and mental healing. In this context, they are often known as entheogens. Native American practitioners using mescaline-containing cacti (most notably peyote, San Pedro, and Peruvian torch) have reported success against alcoholism, and Mazatec practitioners routinely use psilocybin mushrooms for divination and healing. Ayahuasca, which contains the powerful psychedelic DMT, is used in Peru and other parts of South America for spiritual and physical healing as well as in religious festivals.

As for drugs..which I do note has NOT been locked, spent a weekend once upon a time and prolly did 30 hits of acid or so.

Cannot complain, won't do it again

And you think shrooms don't have bad effects on people?! My cousin did shrooms and had a mental breakdown resulting in a week long stay in a psych ward, to which he was wrongly diagnosed with schizophrenia. ALL illegal substances give you a temporary high, how dumb.

Oh that's interesting?
It makes sense if you think about it because the bacteria have evolved to become immune.
Maybe that's why, lol.

It sucks too because there is seriously nothing I can do when I get sick but wait.

They are supposedly immune because people do not take the antibiotics like they are prescribed. They stop taking them when the symptoms cease and there are still a few bacteria alive. They develop an immunity. There's a lot of talk of super bugs that are difficult to treat because they are immune.

Oh, okay, makes sense.

Right now I'm still sick and have been sick since the beginning of October.

Where was your cousin when they experienced the shrooms? If I would have done the drug alone in my room, or alone period, I would have had a mental breakdown as well. Instead, I was with people I loved and folks who care about me, that also knew what they were doing, in a room full of color and good vibes. When on the drug I began to over think, but the people I was with talked me out of it. Because of this experience, I realized I'm a HEAVY over thinker. I was in my head so much that I wasn't enjoying the beauty I could create with that same mind that overthinks.

But ya know, what happened to your cousin is not a common experience for those who try shrooms
