Very true, and when the power goes out, one either reads, or plays board games, and *gasp* actually talks with other people..face to face..sounds odd I know

Mine are all in February. My anniversary is in May.

My wind chill this morning was 10 degrees F. Or -12 degrees C.

People don't know how to drive properly. I don't drive a four wheel drive but I have traction control. Still I manage to get around in a sports car with low profile tires. I carry cat litter for emergency traction.

For the last few weeks I have been taking a daily tsp of cod liver oil, while the weather is so grey and rotten.

It has really increased my mood and energy!

Maybe the cold sucks , but you can't have warm and pretty weather all the time. There needs to be a sort of balance in all things. Would the flowers and the smell of fresh cut grass in spring be as wonderful if we didn't have to endure the cold and dreary days of winter? I thought of all of this while I was meditating.

We just had an ice storm and it's so beautiful! About an inch of ice coats the branches of trees. At first When the storm first started, I worried the power would be interrupted. That hasn't happened.
I like the way the earth looks in ice. A crunchy coating covers the ground. About an inch sits on the power lines.
I heard the wind blowing the branches of my giant Sycamore tree out back. They tinkled like so many wind chimes.

Even though I was born in February -- the absolute coldest month in the year -- I do not like winter. At all. Someone mentioned hibernate -- that's a perfect description for me lol

When I last went through a cold winter - because it was really cold.. I went out and bumped into a group of guys - and they all wanted to have sex with me.. But I thought maybe I shouldn't - because I had an std at the time.. and I just didn't want to cause them harm.
I ended up rejecting them - but then they kept trying to have sex with me, and grabbing my butt and what not... and because it was so freezing cold - I kinda wanted to have sex.. just to warm up..

Ultimately I said 'no'... because I'm not like that.. you know..
I don't go around giving people stds.

And one of them was a famous model... but I just couldn't bear the thought of giving him an std.. so yeah -
What can you do?

Life!

The things that happen..
