But moving on to the point, your counter-arguments hold no water considering the fact that Maureen Dowd's book entitled "Are Men Necessary?" has gotten an overall negative reception; From both prominent feminists and others alike (with Metacritic giving it a dismal 31 out of 100.) She was actually accepted at her position at the NYT due to her extensive work as a Journalist. The same credence can be applied to blatantly misogynist authors like David Foster Wallace; Who was recognized for his short stories and essays rather than his outrageous views on women. The same applies to one the greatest writers of human history; Shakespeare.

But even if we put all that aside, Maureen's "supporters" have never threatened anyone's life, haven't blatantly told someone that they will rape them, or the like; All of which BTW, have been PROMINENTLY done by a MAJORITY of the younger supporters (between the ages of 17 and 25) of the MRA movement (see the article I posted from Mclane's for citations.)

As for the "grand plan" of the MRA movement to see if they can get a submissive woman from overseas to tickle their fancy, ironically I have to say that most of them are in a bit of a surprise .

See, most of the women from overseas who desire an American Husband have a very stereotypical Hollywood induced view of what the American Man is supposed to be (i.e. The Handsome Rebel, The Dashing Adventurer, The Gorgeous Badboy so to speak) which pretty much puts the MRA guys at a disadvantage Lol!
