That's absolutely horrible. Sorry that you had to endure such selfish, deceitful behavior. I'd cut his nuts off but it won't change the kind of person he is (oh, and before anyone gets all sensitive about the nuts - I would imagine cutting his nuts off..I can't stand cheaters).Hopefully this experience won't taint your future relationships. Yes, you are allowed to be cautious but don't allow this experience to put you off from engaging in a healthy relationship. Wishing you the best of luck and much love. IP: Logged |

Last night I decided to flip through the channels to see what was on. Usually I just watch the news but I wasn't in the mood for it. I decided to watch Seinfeld, which I haven't seen in months. I'm not really sure why I chose to watch it. But the episode that was on, was about Elaine who is dating a guy who turns out to be married. Additionally, George cheats on his fiance and dates another girl. Both girls found out about each other and meet him together at the cafe to talk to him. This is EXACTLY what happened to me this weekend.Additionally, when I was getting ready this morning, I was about to just turn on spotify on my phone. However, something made me turn on the radio instead, and the VERY first thing that is on, is that a woman called in to the station saying that she found out a man she was dating was married with a pregnant wife. She wasn't sure whether or not to tell the pregnant wife (luckily in my case, there were no kids involved). However, women started calling in, saying that they also found out the guy they had been dating was married, or that they were married and found out their husband had been cheating on them. What are the chances of me stumbling across both the Seinfeld episode and the radio discussion with perfect timing? I have been asking my angels and praying to help me through this time so I will be able to move on. Maybe this is their way somehow of helping me cope. IP: Logged |

Firstly, I am so sorry you went through this. It is a deep betrayal, I know. When something like this happens, we can often wonder if there is something wrong with US. Of course, there isn't, but it can feel that way. Perhaps the synchronicities are letting you know that you are not alone, and if it happens to others also, then there can't just be something wrong with you, or all those other people who've suffered this. What he done, he done because of himself. No one else made him make those choices. I hope you find peace soon. IP: Logged |

Hope I don't sound blunt, but I'm curious to know what any of you were hoping to achieve by you going round his house and having further heart to heart discussions with his wife, and then him???Can't you just sweep it under the carpet, stop trying to get answers from him (because as you say, he seems to twist everything anyway) and just move on with your life?? Really what you do you hope to achieve from this? IP: Logged |

I wasn't trying to achieve anything. I was just helping her out because she asked me to. I guess I sympathized with her because I've been in her situation with past relationships where my mind had a million questions about what really happened and what the guy wasn't telling me. I had been talking to her all weekend while he was out on military training leave. She wanted to know answers, as she found other women through his cell phone records, but they wouldn't return her calls. She was actually very numb to the situation, as he has been doing this for years. She was very calm and polite towards me. She asked me to come over to their house right before he got home, and at first I didn't want to. But she said she really wanted me to, just so that way he couldn't lie to her if I was there. However, I just ended up talking one on one to him, I don't really see what the point was because I didn't really even have anything to say except that he didn't deserve his wife. I guess talking to me helped her get the answers she was searching for and it has helped her finally get the realization she needs to leave him which was hard to do because she never knew the truth, as he just kept lying and lying to her. I wouldn't say that we are friends, but she has told me she is so thankful that I spoke with her.

Or she'll just remain a doormat and put up with another 10 years of it. ETA - sorry if I seem cynical about this subject. I've had first hand experience of it myself, with guys (usually Libra, sorry to any Libra guys out there!) crushing on me while they are already in a marriage or living with someone. Then they turn it around to make it seem like I was the one who instigated everything (when I did anything but), just to make them feel less guilty about their own feelings. It's pathetic. Many men will lie without remorse if it gets them what they want. IP: Logged |

Yep, and no surprise, he's a Libra! With a Venus Scorpio, which I thought were usually supposed to be pretty loyal. But who knows what was wrong there, maybe a bad marriage, loss of love and trust, or maybe boredom, who knows and it's not really my place to know. I just hope that she is happy with whatever choice she makes, but it is not my place to be there when she makes it. Come to think of it, most of the guys I have been attracted to have either been Libras or Libra Risings. I have a Venus-Mars conjunct and someone pointed out to me that Is what makes me attracted to Libras and vice versa. However I did know one Libra who liked me for years and he was super loyal to all his girlfriends. He loved love and loved relationships. He is married now with two beautiful daughters. IP: Logged |
