I am realistic and cautious at first. Then I will be accepting and vulnerable later. Because we're not designed to perfectly fit into each others lives. I really hate that saying "there's plenty of fish in the sea"... ok but not everyone's going to suit you? Being vulnerable should come naturally, not something that's forced to authenticate a relationship. If you don't feel comfortable being vulnerable with someone, don't do it. Will that lack of vulnerability damage your relationship? Probably not unless you plan to fall quickly in love with someone you barely know. I think rushing to form a bond would be more detrimental to a relationships longevity. I also think love takes time. I don't understand being "in love" right away. Makes no sense to me.
