Courtney is my daughter. She helped me.  I'm so sorry about your Christmas, I know that was a huge letdown and your husband pretty much sucks.
He doesn't define you Dee and very soon everything will fall into place and you and your daughter can start over.
Jupiter is protecting you, just not in a way I thought of. But in the end he won't let you down.

You could try setting up a Go Fund Me account. I'm not sure how it works, but it might be another means of raising money.ETA: I'm not sure if you know about this or if you've already tried this, but a good resource is 211 directory. Most states have a variation of it - basically it's a directory of free resources such as heating assistance, food pantries, etc for emergency situations. I do think your situation qualifies as emergent based on what you've told us here. You're definitely at risk, your child is at risk, and I would emphasize these points when you contact them for assistance. I'm going to include a link for Maine's 211 directory. It also has a search function in the menu at the top.
