You are right that T is a dude but no, sorry to disappoint you that we are not in relationship. I am happy with Mister. Thanks anyway LOL.

It sounded like you thought I was hitting on you or something. I wasnt. I figured it was miscommunication, language barrier and that’s where the mix up came from.

Like, when you said: “Sorry to disappoint you.”

Um.....not disappointed at all. I’m a straight female.

Anyway, it made me giggle and you posting a green face made me think you realized the mix up too.

Definitely not “being naughty” here. And not “implying anything.”

When I said I was happy that you are happy with “Mister”, I meant it. And that’s it. Sorry for the confusion.

Take care.

Taurus Mercury here - straight shooter. I tend to forget people can read into things weirdly or too deeply online.

Hello T from LL...

When I said that we are not in relationship, I meant the dude T who brought me flowers and I. Remember you wished me luck previously. I assumed over the dude T and I. So it went the saying, sorry to disappont you.

On the mercury retrograde stuff, aka delayed and with the face... I thought you still implying dude T and I...you teasing me...my comment was more like teasing you back. No offense at all. Pure misunderstanding on my part. (handshake)

All the best to you!

Today I would be thankful for the itchiness that I experience these days.
They say that it is a sign my body is expelling toxin through the skin.
Everyday is a good day!

Mirage,
I saw your earlier post.
Perhaps affirming a better relationship with (general or specific) medical staff -
That you are safe in their hands.
That you are healed through them.
That the past is in the past. Now is now and thus the change.
Because you affirm to.
Because you deserve.

Teasel...... The Universe is conspiring to tell me that everything is going to be alright!!

I had written about some medical traumas I had, and ... (laughing) currently am sooo chicken about.

You recall the story I told about surgery when I was 4?
If not, I told this story 'in great detail' in MoonMystic's thread on asteroids and NDE..
here.

I get SOOOOOOO nervous, especially if I think a test might require general anesthesia, or, being in giant cramped noisy test for a too prolonged period of time.

I think I shared that 'other' medical story from when I was around 6 years old... A WAY WAY long time ago. Can't recall.

Only that the nurses/technicians treated me as though I couldn't hear... I was a turkey carcass!!! LOL

They said they felt really bad having to 'do' what they were doing using 'adult' equipment on a 'baby'....

NOOOO comforting. Nope. People thought during those times that kids wouldn't remember.. bwahhh.... so nerve-wracking.

I thought they were going to crush me to death. No one gave my feral Gemini Mind ANY INFORMATION... haha.

Experience was quite Alien with the black panes and violet lights. I 'thought' I had the magic power to STOP it 'right' at the moment of crush!!! hahahahaha.

I threw my will INTO the machine.

Little telepathicSuperwoman!!! hahhahha.

But I NEVUH NEVUH wanted THAT to ever happen again. awwwww *self hug* ...)

I'm NOT going to mention the Breach Birth Baby I had for my FIRST. ~~ I was brave..... because of my cowardice!! hahahhaha

THANKS for your Beautiful concerns.

Rheanna... You are Right!!!

Mirage,

Today some thought from years ago crossed back into my mind. I hope you don't mind I shared it with you. It was when I worked as a medical interpreter in a cancer hospital here in China.

You see, I was new. The first couple of weeks I would feel upset listening to their jokes on the patients.
How could they do that? People are suffering!
I sympathized with the patients, their families and their suffering.

There were doctor-patient problems. Once with anesthesia. Patient was outraged she woke up in the middle of operation and was in great pain and no further assistance given. Later I had a chance to ask the anesthesia nurse. She said that patient's lung and heart capacity was very weak the anesthesia doctor could not administered more anesthesia for the patient, despite. So, only understanding that everybody were doing the best that they could.

Time passed.
We saw patients come.
We saw patients survive.
We saw patients die.
Then one day as I was sitting with the bunch in the office, some doctor retold a story about a certain patient on his way of coping with his disease. With his new condition. It was funny indeed. Everybody laughed and I found myself laughing with them. After the laughter subsided, a new realization arose and sadness flooded in. It was the end of my honeymoon period with the hospital. I was one of them now and the jokes were one of our ways to stay sane.

Rheanna ... My deepest Gratitude and Admiration.

Thank you for what you shared today.
It shows sensitivity and a capacity for empathy.

I do not fault you unkindly for the laughing, at all.

I volunteer for a nonprofit.
I 'understand' the need for pressure-releases.

Also, I possess a huge sense of humor.. some of which can fall into the category of being sardonic (*gallows humor*).

Some of the funniest jokes can suddenly pop up, as a 'defense mechanism' against the truly awful darkness, in the midst of seas of pain and sorrows. It's like a sudden 'detachment' that can pull one OUT of the grip of that moment, and allow some small gift of uplift, in the dark of it.

And-- that's the basis of a lot of Comedy too. We NEED to pull back, reframe situation, and see the levity.... I think 'solutions' are born from those kinds of states, perspectives, points of view.

And too-- LOL...
There are 'gradations' (levels of) excusing other people's behaviors? The penchant of laughing AT other state of degradations, without ability to have Compassions.

God help us all, if we lose our ability to use Laughter as a medicine.

Truly, some of us would not have been able to survive our own circumstance or situation, if we hadn't found the 'irony' in our life, and take the Lighter Side.

Rheanna ... I can empathize with your position.
You can also take an informal type of role-modeling, subtly, among your peers-- laughing WITH them, in one perspective. That is "socially" required if you want the feeling of being included, and not-threatening, to your peers. You NEED the 'nutrition' of feeling at-one with your coworker-team. And, retaining your OWN innate sensitivity and Responsibility, you could also occasional slip them some refined comments, which could help them 'ground' back to the patient's viewpoint and present real-experience. You could be and do BOTH.

Laughing helps to relieve stress (in the CONSTANT environment of battling actual life and death situations), but reminders are also needed, in the Balance, that what the patient might be experiencing IS some of their Last Experience they have in this earth plane.

(gently-gently, philosophically)...
Do the patients deserve to die hearing ridicule spoken about them....

This was a video released about a situation that was recorded HERE in the USA. The elderly patient in this vid was taking his last gasps of air. The medical team laughed at him struggling. They 'lied' to authorities when questioned. Their equipment was not kept in good-working order. They were very 'lax' about the whole situation--- This was NOT a Dignified soul-parting for this individual...

(topic) Dying Nursing Home Patient Being Laughed at By Nurses ... (A Joke Explained, posted Nov 18, 2017) [5:51] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aXrpiu2E3E

~

{{For Teasel (and others-- so you don't feel left out) This is the other video I had referenced. Just so you know more fully.}}

(topic) Woman Secretly Records Doctors Insulting Her During Surgery (GMA, ABC News, April 2016) [2:18] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twMrpJa95jU

I had made a comment that I-myself have been subjected to that kind of OPEN disrespectful behavior.
That I have 'championed' the sake of patients before (when I eye-or-ear witnessed staff being openly disrespectful (AND abusive) TO clients)-- placing me in peril too, for Standing against the abuses, in those cases.

{{I had described my waking up in surgery at 4 years old--anesthesia had been botched.}}

So .... again, Thank You for your very sensitive and knowledgeable reply, Rheanna.

Today I am thankful that I live in Portland, for guitars, for new guitar strings and picks, for friendly people, and babies on the bus, for Heather who loves me and accepts me as I am and gives me the time/space to realize when I need to apologize (big one) ...

For poetry and amazing writers in my writers group.

For maple leaves and the leaves people think are from maples (sweet gums).

For forums where people focus on what to be thankful for.
