Yep, I should just take them monastic vows and stay the hell out of relationships.

Or... continue the series of little deaths that punctuate this life.

Oh, the decisions!

On a serious note, this isn't actually telling me anything that astrologers haven't already told me about Asc. conj. Mars conj. Saturn conj. Pluto, sq. Venus.

I guess the message is if I don't get a grip it'll be the death of me. Chiron in the 7th. Ahh how it all makes sense.

I'm off to the nunnery now.

Voix, since it seems you have VENUS near or conj your nodal axis, love is a vital part your life path, and shouldn't be avoided. This may not be romantic love - it may be self-love and inner beauty, or selfless and unconditional love - but once you figure out how to use your VENUS energy in a positive way, then you will be rewarded in ways you haven't imagined.

NEMESIS-DC, you self-sabotage your relationships, whatever type they may be. NEMESIS isn't intentional, it is consequence for our actions/inactions/bad habits, and a willful blind eye to our own weakness by attempting to foist blame elsewhere.

I haven't seen enough of synastric NEMESIS interplay to say for certain. But my hypothesis at the moment based on the cases I have in my portfolio is that the planet person can chafe or agitate the NEMESIS person without even trying. NEMESIS takes things personally, and because the problem is exacerbated by the planet person, the NEMESIS person wants to blame them for their problems.

On the other hand, the planet person can be an invaluable ally to help address and conquer that weakness we have, and provide direction and support (especially if the aspecting planet is a benefic).

In my own experience, I have a natal NEMESIS-MARS conjunction, and the person has their JUPITER-MOON conjunct. Their optimism and energetic emotional support inspires my MARS to action.

The planet person may feel somewhat drained by the NEMESIS person, from time to time, because this is a chronic battle the NEMESIS native must fight.

Oppositions are touch-and-go. The planet person may openly recognize the NEMESIS person's weaknesses, but can actively choose not to bother with it, should they so choose, or when they do, it's very bold and sudden with mixed results. It's like trying to get someone to stop a thing by forcing it or flaunting it in front of their face.

I think this depends on if NEMESIS is in a prominent position in the natal, too. A benign NEMESIS without much in the way of aspects is generally only governed by the house and sign it's placed, and therefore a nebulous nuisance. Synastric aspect to this kind of placement could merely bring pestering tension to an otherwise pleasant synastry.

Mine is conjunct my moon.....mother

Mine is in the 10th between my mercury and Sun opposing my moon by one orb applying and this opposition squares my neptune in the first forming a tsquare.

Nemesis also inconjuncts my Venus and karma in the 9th.

Transit Elatus has been conjuncting my nemesis for about a year:

Transit Elatus squared my Northnode and Southnode while it opposed my moon and conjuncted my nemesis-mercury activating a grand-cross (NN-T Chaos opposite SN-T Pholus-T Ixion, nemesis-mercury-T elatus opposite Moon).

"Elatus has an incredible ability to escape from the most difficult situations, like Morfeo-Neo in the movie "The Matrix" (1999). But is more habitual that he flees before things get worse. Mark Andrew Holmes says "Elatus seems to indicate expression, expressiveness, eloquence, to mislead, to deceive (possibly oneself); possibly "dodging a bullet.""

I definitely "dodged a bullet."

I can say nemesis in the 10th opposing my moon is not about my mother; she is definitely not my enemy nor am I her enemy. Moon is ruled by neptune in the first which is the point of release between nemesis and moon.

It is opposite my NN, and square my ascendant.

It is true, I have struggled both in relationships with others and myself.
And continue to do so.
My whole life has had this theme.

Taking responsibility has also been a theme. I had to learn to distinguish between what WAS my responsibility and what WASN't.
I was essentially the only adult in my childhood home, leading to responsibilities beyond my years (but weirdly, not beyond my abilities, hence I am still living, and growing).

I often take too much responsibility, so my current lesson is to learn when there is nothing I can do, and to learn to let go when the other person will not correct their errors in the relationship.

Walking away is also a theme. As many people prefer people like me to shoulder everyone's burdens. I don't live like this anymore, it is too consuming. It is not living, and it hinders the growth of the other, which is not compassionate.

128 Nemesis (Greek):

Nemesis was the Goddess of indignation against, and retribution for, evil deeds and undeserved good fortune. She was a personification of the resentment aroused in men by those who commited crimes with apparent impunity, or who had inordinate good fortune.

Nemesis directed human affairs in such a way as to maintain equilibrium. Her name means "she who distributes or deals out". Happiness and unhappiness were measured out by her, care being taken that happiness was not too frequent or too excessive. If this happened, Nemesis could bring about losses and suffering. As one who checked extravagant favours by Tyche (Goddess of Fortune), Nemesis was regarded as an avenging or punishing divinity.

In myth Nemesis was particularly concerned with matters of love. She appears as an avenging agent in the stories of Narkissos and Nikaia, whose callous actions brought about the death of their wooers. In some versions of the Trojan War, she was the mother of Helene, and is shown in scenes of her seduction by Paris pointing an accusing finger at the girl.

Nemesis was often sometimes depicted as a winged Goddess. Her attributes were apple-branch, rein, lash, sword, or balance. Her name was derived from the Greek words nemęsis and nemô, meaning "dispenser of dues." The Romans usually used the Greek name of the Goddess, but sometimes also called her Invidia (Jealousy) and Rivalitas (Jealous Rivalry).

Nemesis is most commonly described as a daughter of Night, though some call her a daughter of Erebus or of Oceanus. Nemesis is a personification of the moral reverence for law, of the natural fear of committing a culpable action, and hence of conscience, and for this reason she is mentioned along with Aidôs, i. e. Shame. In later writers, as Herodotus and Pindar, Nemesis is a kind of fatal divinity, for she directs human affairs in such a manner as to restore the right proportions or equilibrium wherever it has been disturbed; she measures out happiness and unhappiness, and he who is blessed with too many or too frequent gifts of fortune, is visited by her with losses and sufferings, in order that he may become humble, and feel that there are bounds beyond which human happiness cannot proceed with safety. This notion arose from a belief that the Gods were envious of excessive human happiness. Nemesis was thus a check upon extravagant favours conferred upon man by Tyche or Fortune, and from this idea lastly arose that of her being an avenging and punishing power of fate, who, like Dike and the Erinyes, sooner or later overtakes the reckless sinner.

The inhabitants of Smyrna worshipped two Nemeses, both of whom were daughters of Night. She is frequently mentioned under the surnames Adrasteia and Rhamnusia or Rhamnusis, the latter of which she derived from the town of Rhamnus in Attica, where she had a celebrated sanctuary. Besides the places already mentioned she was worshipped at Patrae and at Cyzicus. She was usually represented in works of art as a virgin divinity, and in the more ancient works she seems to have resembled Aphrodite, whereas in the later ones she was more grave and serious, and had numerous attributes. But there is an allegorical tradition that Zeus begot by Nemesis at Rhamnus an egg, which Leda found, and from which Helena and the Dioscuri sprang, whence Helena herself is called Rhamnusis. On the pedestal of the Rhamnusian Nemesis, Leda was represented leading Helena to Nemesis. The Rhamnusian statue bore in its left hand a branch of an apple tree, in its right hand a patera, and on its head a crown, adorned with stags and an image of victory. Sometimes she appears in a pensive standing attitude, holding in her left hand a bridle or a branch of an ash tree, and in her right a wheel, with a sword or a scourge.
