So far all information about Pallas in Astrology that I've come across has been a lot of airy-fairy blather. I like my Astrology to be as down to earth and real as possible but a hard definition of Pallas eludes me...What does Pallas relate to, specifically? What kind of things would it signify in a chart? What does it mean to you if I have a Taurean Pallas in the third house, sextile my Mercury and opposite Jupiter and the midheaven? Any info about this sneaky Asteroid would be thoroughly appreciated. x

"Airy fairy blather"?That is such a Taurean Pallas thing to say lmao. But if you've read the myth of Pallas Athene, that honestly is a part of what she is. Pallas is basically a warrior and an intellectual, or at the very least her intelligence is one of her defining traits. Intellect is the domain of those 'airy fairy' air signs. So it's not so much that they're giving you an airy fairy interpretation as just telling you the truth of what her actual nature is. IP: Logged |

http://astrologyforthesoul.com/chb/goddessgospel.html Pallas, the Daughter or Genius Pallas Athena or Pallas, is as close to a male energy as a female can be, embodying the archetype of both warrior and daughter (think of the first-born daughter, of the daughter of a father who wanted a boy; or the now, somewhat, archaic term of tom boy.). Pallas represents both warrior energy, and, where you have a great genius in the chart, but may doubt yourself.
Due to her brilliance at finding patterns, when she is conflicted by aspect in the chart, we may find learning disabilities, such as dyslexia; difficulty maintaining harmony in relationships, or overly aggressive tendencies that may obscure or impede her natural genius. IP: Logged |

Lol. Okay, thanks BelligerentPygmy. I hope I didn't offend, because being airy-fairy is definitely a good thing. =D In fact, my Aquarian Asc. is the only thing I like about myself. I just have trouble interpreting the mythology. And thankyou Mysticknowflake! That was super useful. IP: Logged |

Mine's in the 7th house conjunct my Vertex. Aries. I guess I don't know how my people skills are? I often think I've done something wrong and oddly the more Arien types will come out and say it didn't offend anyone. My Pallas gets a square and I actually have a learning disability! Wow wow wow this is accurate. Moon square Pallas Eris conjunct Pallas (lol uh... what am I supposed to think of that?) Pallas trine Great Attractor (I attract these types?)

i read something the other day about peculiar phobias for items with similar properties .. like bubbly textures might relate back to our survival drive and the need to identify patterns of poisonous animals. it made me think of pallas and how aesthetics and warrior could come together. i have it conjunct neptune and moon if i remember rightly. Honestly? Someone and I both have it in the 8H; his is exactly conjunct the cusp. They're sextile less than a degree. We're both schizo spectrum with a tendency to be more intellectual than sexual. There's got to be some serious 8H / 5H interaction going on to get us to think 'sex' and not 'chess'. IP: Logged |
