I'm a woman and my Mars is in a very tight conjunction to my Psyche, both conjunct my ASC in Aqua. Is that of significance? Or what could it indicate? I'm fairly new to asteroids and curious! Thanks! IP: Logged |

I know the mythology of psyche.
I think for it to be in conjunction to Mars, I don't know. Isn't Mars a bit like Eros, only on the rougher side? LOL
For them both to be in my 1st house, close to my ASC, does it mean that I have my pie and eat it too? LOL
Help! some insight please before I jump into some far-fetched conclusions of my own!

Psyche conjunct ASC would make you very sensitive and "hearing the grass grow"; since this happens in Aquarius, you mighht get flashes of insight, like out of the blue, knowledge that seems to come from nowwhere, as if it is downloaded into your brain suprisingly and suddenly.
Are you sensitive to electricity? Or feeling these psychic insights like electric impulses?I have Moon, Pallas and Psyche in Aquarius, and I do feel these electrical vibrations, running up and down my spine each time when I am getting "hit" by an insight.
I find it difficult to interprete Mars as part of it; but maybe it makes this connection more active, more action-oriented, like you actually want to DO something with these ideas?

I agree with Ceridwen's interpretation.Additional point would be the desire to act on impulses felt as deeply spiritual.
Another: An ambitious desire to find the genuine "Eros" or Soul Mate. For further meaning, just look at the Sabian Symbol of the degree where your Mars conjuncts Psyche. IP: Logged |

Yep I've got Psyche con asc in Scorp and I have a strong need to find the one and only. As soon as I know that a partner isn't "the one" I have to move on. Demetra George says Pysche in an air sign gives mental telepathy and that aspectng other planets it gves a heightened awareness of the nature and role of the planet. In short, Psyche will help you to better understand your mars which means you should be able to understand what motivates you. IP: Logged |

Yes, Psyche seems to have these two main lines of interpretation:
1. intuition, psychic awareness, which especially in Airsigns could signify mental telepathy (or telepathy in general, maybe for the water signs it would be through their emotions, the earthsigns through touching an object and so on).2. it also represents the soul, and great sensitivity and vulnerability, especially in regards to one`s soulmate.

Thank you very much for your input, everyone.
I do seem to have "electric hands" i.e. I feel electric currents in my hands when I'm engaged spiritually or intuitively. (I'm a Reiki lev.II and I first became aware of Reiki through my hands like many Reiki-initiated people do since it's a hands-on healing experience.)
I'm fairly romantic too so meeting a soulmate is truly a goal (that I often won't even admit lol). For me soulmates are also kindred spirits and they are not only lovers (friends may be soulmates too).
When I get near a soulmate I get a "signal" like a light electric shock. It has happened every time and it sort of activates my feelings of being close to this person. It's hard to explain and it might sound completely weird. It came to mind when I read your explanations above.
Just found out that asteroid karma is also conjunct my psyche. IP: Logged |

This is PRECISELY how I experience it! Also for some reason it seems to be stronger during fullmoon in Aquarius or Scorpio. My Psyche is in Aquarius, too; and Aquarius is THE sign of electricity / electric vibes, so it definitely makes sense to me. IP: Logged |

The flashes of insight, I thought were due to my Mars trine Uranus... I do get them a lot. Especially when I'm working (an Aqua type of work, e.g. when I work on my research paper).
And it's like I converse with myself because I actually HEAR my thoughts! LOL

on cafe astrology for Mars 13-14 Aqua and Psyche 14-15 Aqua. On other sides it would be: Mars: 14th degree and Psyche: 15th degree. I love the Sabian for your Psyche, and the Mars sabian is very intersting as well. IP: Logged |

I have no clue about "nameasteroids" but this FM squares my Mars in Aqua and opposes my Venus in Scorpio. OY! Or should I say: OUCH!

They both (karma and psyche) square my Venus at 15 sc 56'.Sabian for 16 sc is: A big business man at his desk LOL This sounds too strict for my Venus but Scorpio rules my midheaven and I can be very driven and goal-oriented. Does this mean that I should be less business-like? IP: Logged |

Also, the Sabian you mentioned for your Venus actually is 15-16 Aquarius. But your Venus is in Scorpio, right?
