Here. Was thinking of that song, though not sure it totally fits. BUT putting the abuse-theme aside, would you think that Nessus deals with sexual attraction, too hot to handle? And that this, coupled with a selfishness, might lead to abusive situations? Like Nessus saying: I want you and I accept no No. (and really meaning it?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX8Y2C_1CwQ&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PLC6E86847D8056DB3
I don’t want to watch The Street on TV I don’t want to hear about your day I’ve got no time to hear About how much you care Shut your mouth and come this way
I'm the weirdo in your bedroom And I can see you in the dark' Tonight’s the night I shed my wicked soul I take it out on you and watch you lose control Tonight’s the night I shed my Tonight’s the night I shed my Tonight’s the night I shed my wicked soul My wicked soul Let’s disconnect all communication I’ve told your mother not to call So lay down on the bed Cause now I’ve locked the door And we don’t live out there no more I’m a weirdo in your bedroom And I can’t see you in the dark Tonight’s the night I shed my wicked soul I take it out on you and watch you lose control Tonight’s the night I shed my Tonight’s the night I shed my Tonight’s the night I shed my wicked soul My wicked soul Or one of my alltime favourites? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5aYyOn9Dlk&feature=related

Hmmm I think Nessus is pure abuse like pure cocaine lol. If there are other factors associated with Nessus, that would be other astrological influences, I would think. My song was not pure Nessus, I suppose. It had the flavor of Nessus, though. What would be pure Nessus? Ted Bundy ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

No, if it`s pure abuse, it doesn`t fit.Anyway, my take on Nessus is slightly different. At the core of Nessus - for me- is selfish want / selfish desire, this, if not kept in check, can lead to abuse, because the person places themselves over any other person or law, and doesn`t care for them, unless their desire is satisfied. If kept in check though, it doesn`t need to lead to abuse. Several other things need to come into play, especially since Nessus is moving so slow. But that "selfishness and ruthlessness" of Nessus really has to be looked out for. Funnily my mum´s Nessus is squaring my Dad`s Venus exactly. Vanessa paradis` Nessus squares Johnny Depp`s Venus exactly. IQ`s wife`s Nessus apparently squares his Venus. So, it seems to happen in working relationships as well; maybe it is easier to deal with if the woman is the Nessus person? EDIT: Thinking Ted Bundy for me would probably be a mix of Nessus/mars/Lust/Pluto, maybe even with deluding flavour of Neptune or Venus/Moon thrown into the mix (he was said to appear to have some charm to lure his victims away, right?). For some reason with serial killers like this I also think of something karmic and KAALI. IP: Logged |

I am still thinking about this whole thing and have not listened to your song, yet. I just wanted to add something that a friend told me.He said that his Nessus was conjunct someone's Sun and he had such an urge to abuse the person that he had to hold himself, in check.

Well, I do not want to play down the dark possibilities of Nessus; I just think several things must fall into play. One aspect doesn`t make the whole abuse. You know what I mean? Oh and for the record I have no desire whatsoever to abuse you. Despite my Nessus being on 28 Gemini.
I did feel the Transit of Nessus over my MOon on 17 Aquarius clearly though. Not a feel good transit. IP: Logged |

Yes, I remember one evening. I was sitting here, very happy, and then something happened inside of me, like a "rift" or something like that. And I was suddenly feeling a great tension inside. I took my brother home (my parents live nearby) and locked the door, and then was standing outside, looking into the night, and I felt like something was prowling outside, like something or someone was searching for, a victim I guess. I was so deeply startled, and actually just wanted to get back inside, lock the doors and windows and hide in my bed. It was such a dark dense energy, it really scared me.I also had suddenly an image inside of my mind, (that felt like it was violating ME), of me hitting my brother for no other reason than that he was being there. I would NEVER EVER hit my brother, I love him to bits. And this "nightmare of a vision" it actually felt like it was aimed at hurting ME and causing ME pain. If I ever have felt a psychic attack, I think, it was then. But as soon as I had become aware of that image, I also had the feeling like I was picking up on some dark frequency. BTW my Moon is conjunct my bro`s ASC, so Tr Nessus was conjunct his ASC at that time! It was pretty horrifying, but nothing happened, of course I did not hit my brother, nor did anyone else; nothing awful happened to either of us. But as a matter of fact, as it turned out later, someone WAS prowling only kilometres away from us. That night, it felt like the darkest night ever. EDIT: So maybe you are right about Nessus being pure abuse, just that it is not always physical. IP: Logged |

WOW Ceri, thank you for sharing that. My opinion is that Nessus is pure abuse, but one does not have to act on it, of course. The rare person acts on it, I would think, but the impulse would be there.------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I don't like my Nessus conjunct his South Node. We initially hit it off, but he had a horrible effect on me. Funny, I would think that the Nessus was on his side, as well. He's just under a year older than I am, so I don't know where his is.IP: Logged |

Ami, he also said something about people wanting to be abused. That if someone showed weakness, then he felt an urge to abuse that weakness. I was bothered then, but forgot about it, because he sounded like players who say that women want the bad boys, you know? That was when he advised me that no man likes to be called "sweet". Trouble is, I need to see sweetness before I can feel something else (other than the initial pull towards someone you have chemistry with). He said something about how he could be the most loving person, or a monster. ??? It freaked me out, but now he considers himself the healthier one of the two of us, when that wasn't the case in the past. IP: Logged |

Teasel, that guy sounds horrible, like a shock full of potential abusive actions or reactions! In the very least very cynical and manipulative, does not sound very healthy to me. BTW sometimes we also draw people into our lives which will express our Nessus for us. It is not ALWAYS the Nessus person, who is abusive, though often it will be the case. But if you look at victim´s charts, they often have Nessus-afflictions as well (and probably something very mellow like Moon or Venus in Pisces with a strong Neptune). IP: Logged |

Yes, Teasel, if he had it conjunct the SN, that may be even worse than then the NN lol That means he is very familiar and comfortable with Nessus. Is this the Taurus guy you told me about? I do not think a Nessus relationship is doomed but the people have to be SUPER mature ------------------ Want a peek in to my journal? http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Very cynical and manipulative. he can be a very good person, and at the moment is Mr. Mindfulness. Don't get me started. He once referred to my "disney head", affectionately, but i also felt patronizingly, but I let it go, because he'd been in a bad mood and was lightening up a bit. Now I'm more cynical and angry, and he doesn't like me - but the cynicism is related to him, in ways, so I'm no longer fond of him either.I just thought of a song for this. Be right back.
