"I'm left handed and left handed people apparently think in clouds instead of linearly and they also see the forest instead of the trees (more likely to pick up the whole picture instead of focusing on details... such a Sag thing). That said, it can be frustrating when trying to express myself, because I'll skip over parts that I feel that are pretty self evident to people, but they don't get it and pick apart what I didn't clarify."

ummmmmmm

What about righthanded people?
all that stuff that you described is how I am. I am righthanded.

My Uncle Eddie is a left-handed, and he is very analytical, organized, and detail-oriented person. He is very critical of others too. He is great with numbers, and he has a lot of experiencing working as an accountant.
Interestingly, he has Sun in Virgo.

BUT

As for me, I am totally the opposite which one would suspect from somebody Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD (inattentive type). I remember taking a record keeping class in my senior year in high school, and I had problems in the class because I couldn't remember how to do the stuff. I'd also put things in the wrong columns. I had a D in the class.

The US Navy was stressful because of the issues that I had. Bootcamp was a nightmare for me. I was viewed as being stupid by my company commander and fellow recruits because of my problems with paying attention to detail which was the main thing that was stressed in bootcamp and that was essential for the Navy.

Having a Virgo Ascendant doesn't mean that I have the Virgo stuff that Astrology says that I do.

The only thing, Virgo about me is that I tended to worry a lot, and that's due to anxiety disorder that I developed as a child because of my difficulties, experiences and fears of being stupid and incompetent, being self conscious about how others thought about me as well as dealing with Virgo-like people.

That's not necessarily a Virgo thing.

Not saying it's cut and dry, just more likely. It's more likely that left handed people are male, but clearly I am female and am left handed, you see. I'm surprised you haven't read about the correlation between left handed people and learning disabilities...
http://www.nytimes.com/1983/04/19/science/some-disorders-appear-to-be-li nked-to-being-left-handed.html

Anyway to bring it back to Mercury Rx, descriptions of left handed people and the way they think remind me of it, which is why I mentioned it to begin with.

Please don't assume what I have read and what I haven't.

I definitely read that article, but I don't buy into those generalizations. That stuff is highly debatable. I avoid generalizing about righthanded and lefthanded people as well as ambidextrous people. I definitely don't fit the stereotypes of the right-handed person just like I don't fit the stereotypes of the male.

I even read the article that ambidextrous people were more at risk to have "learning disabilities" http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article7000928.ece

I am actually cross/mixed dominant.
Even though I am right-handed, I am left ear and left eye dominant. In early childhood, I had fine motor skills therapy because my fine motor skills/dexeterity were poor. I had trouble establishing a dominant hand. That's part of my Dyspraxia aka Developmental Coordination Disorder, formerly known as Minimal Brain Dysfunction (also an old term for ADHD)and Clumsy Child Syndrome.

My mother also has the same cross/mixed dominance as I do. My biological father also had fine motor/dexterity issues like I have.

Also my maternal grandfather was left-handed.

I read that one of the early warning signs of Dyslexia is lefthandedness in the family. Both my maternal uncle Eddie and Grandfather were lefthanded. My Uncle Eddie was a stutterer. His Mercury is not "afflicted" (I hate that term..that is so fatalistic-sounding). He had a direct Mercury trine Saturn. My maternal Grandfather had no speech problems. He didn't go to high school. He had Sun in Cancer conjunct retrograde Mercury in Gemini in 8th with no hard aspects to it (unless you consider the square to transneptunian dwarf planet candidate/plutino Ixion),and he was very good about communicating with people on many subjects. He read a lot of news stuff, and he encouraged his children to do the same.

intellectual handicaps aka mental retardation is referred to as learning disabilities in the United Kingdom. In other words, learning disabilities is a term reserved for only the intellectually handicapped.

They don't refer to learning differences as learning disabilities like Americans do.

In my opinion, learning differences are not learning disabilities. They are just a mismatch for the cookie cutter, auditory sequential, factory-based learning environments that are in most schools. Before late 1700's, schools weren't like that at all. It was the Cambridge tutor,William Farish who invented the grading system(based on factory)/auditory sequential teaching lecturing method school system that is what mainstream schools are today.

Retro Mercury seems to be an issue more in male charts where not much attention was paid to the child's intellect/communication.

@Zanarkand:
Not surprisingly, your dad has Nessus conj Mars exact, and it is afflicted by an exact square from Chiron.

So there you go, look to Nessus first for psychopathic behavior and possible sociopathic behavior when Venus and Nessus are both afflicted.

Mental illness would need Neptune affliction and the outright serial killer will have a mix of these, with a quincunx or two.

Yeap, zanarkand, that about sums it up regarding the differences. I was quite shocked to see my ex (narc) hurting over the girl he dated after we got divorced. He actually seems more human now than he did back then, and there are a lot of things that I didn't understand at the time (I was 23 when we got married).
You're right about the pity too.

Ami, for the record, my dad's not a killer, lol. The disease goes into remission at around 50, it was noticeable. I could top zan stories anytime The difference is that I stood up to him, I remember distinctly that moment when I was 11 or 12 - he made me cry as always for something really bad that I'd allegedly done, and I stood there crying my heart out. At some point, I looked up, and I saw a twinkle of amusement in his eyes, he was trying not to laugh. He was enjoying himself. That was the moment I decided not to cry anymore in front of him, no matter what he said or did, and boy, did it make him angry. I cried afterwards, for hours, but I had my poker face on every time I talked to him.
We finally made up when I got married. I cried then He's my dad and I love him. But I still stand up to him, every single day.

I want to point out that there is an astrologer born on the same day as Ted Bundy.
His name is Howard Sheldon. http://howardsheldon.net/index.html

I knew him back in 2000 on Astrology channel on Undernet server.

My ex fits this sociopathy description.
I don't have his birth time, but I want to say it was somewhere around 2-2:30 pm MST.

August 5, 1957 (yes, we are 13 yrs apart)
Salt Lake City, UT USA

We were married almost 10 years.
He told me once that there was this woman who he knew for quite a few years. He told her once that he had feelings for her and she told him she just wanted to be friends.. and when she was dating someone else, he followed her to her work with a gun with the intent of killing her. Then changed his mind.
I was a little more than freaked out.

He's been fired from job after job for stealing. He's a habitual liar....etc.

You can trust him about as far as you can throw him.

I'll see if I can verify the birth time....

" IQ, What do you define as Neptune affliction ? "

Neptune afflictions are referring to hard aspects to Neptune like square,opposition,conjuntion..even quincunx, semisquare, sesquiquadrate
some say the conjunctions are too
also there is also the parallel and contraparallel which are like conjunction and opposition

I really hate words like "afflictions" because they sound so fatalistic like you can't do anything about it. More humanistic ,psychological astrologers don't tend to use words like that.

a matter of fact many successful people have t-squares in their chart which consist of 2 planets in opposition square to a 3rd planet

but I have an "afflicted" Neptune myself
with my t-square of Moon square Saturn-Neptune opposition

also my Saturn contraparallel Mercury-Venus-Neptune parallel
(Mercury parallel Neptune, Venus parallel Neptune, Saturn contraparallel Neptune)

but yeah......there are no afflictions in my book

also

Stephen Arroyo wrote the following in his book
RELATIONSHIPS AND LIFE CYCLES Astrological Patterns of Personal Experience:
page 124 - 125

If you have have Neptune aspect to Mars or Venus, you get some really interesting combinations here, too. Both of which are commonly found, incidentally, in spiritual seekers - Mars-Neptune or Venus-Neptune. In fact, just about every person I've ever seen who was a very sincere seeker, really wanting some kind of spiritual liberation, has Venus-Neptune, Mars-Neptune, or Sun or Moon in a close aspect with Neptune, or Neptune in the first house. Always a strong Neptune. And usually the Neptune aspects, in those kind of people, are the so-called "stressful" aspects; because it's the so-called stressful aspects that make you want to act on something, that make you want to do something about it. So really, squares, oppositions, and conjunctions with Neptune are the best aspects you can have for spiritual aspirations. With trines, you may have a curiosity about spiritual things, but you may not do anything about it. In fact, I've seen that in many cases, too. People with a lot of Neptune trines, especially Neptune trine the Sun--they'll read books about Zen and liberation and all this, but they often just sit on their butts and smoke pot and don't do anything about, fo example, meditation of any kind of spiritual practice

I don't agree with everything that he says.
I don't like to generalize about aspects.
Many people with easy Neptune aspects can have great spiritual aspirations too.

I just like that he doesn't focus on the "afflicted" Neptune aspects in the negative light that many astrologers tend to do.

now that aside

I have history of mental illness: depression and anxiety disorders that stem from my experiences as a neurodivergent.
I believe that my t-square strongly indicates my neurodivergence but also the mental health problems due to experiencing life as neurodivergent. It also can reflect the misdiagnoses that I had in the past.

I am an ultrasensitive person that is extremely effected by my environment. A very typical thing of people with neurodivergence.....especially people who are autistic spectrum.

I am also very easily moved by things and very sympathetic to people that have problems.

In my book, there are no "whiners"

I greatly empathize with people with mental illnesses because of not my highly empathetic nature but my own experiences and the experiences of people that I am close to.

There is also strong family history of drug, alcohol abuse history that can be reflected by my "afflicted" Neptune involved in t-square.

my "afflicted" Neptune can also be about my past confusion about myself in regards to my ethnic background. Mixed people are often referred to as "confused"

another thing

In Rex E Bill's Ruleship book,
Neptune is the planet associated with mulattoes and mixtures.

My idealistic nature including my belief that there should be unity and universal love is connected to my experiences as neurodivergent AND multiracial. I was born from an interracial relationship between a white woman with Sun in 12th trine Neptune in 5th (children) as well as Venus square Neptune and a black man with Moon in Pisces like myself and a stationary retrograde Neptune sextile Mars. My father had Capricorn Sun, Pisces Moon combo like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, the civil rights leader. My parents met in San Francisco,California which is a city known for going beyond boundaries, and some say that it is a modern day Babylon. That's where I was born.

That gives you an idea of how somebody with a strong Neptune influence and "afflicted" Neptune can be like.

Hi IQ,

["...but Sun square Neptune, this has to be the most difficult psychological energy for a Pisces Riser.]

--is it most difficult cuz of the double dose of Neptunian energy?? So what about my case where it's squaring into the 12th house?? isnt that kind of the same?

So what other dangerous traits would Sun sq. Neptune cause, asides from disillusionment?

That's interesting you mentioned natural disasters caused by Sun sq. Nept.

Neptune squares to personal planets are not a joke and not something to be swept under the carpet. It is very irresponsible to pretend there is no problem, in fact not calling a spade a spade is itself a typical sign of a Neptunian affliction creating a confusion in the thought process. Psychopaths will be defended only by other psychopaths, sociopaths will be defended only by other sociopaths, though
I am yet to meet a humanistic psychological astrologer who will date Ted Bundy in a lonely shack in the Rocky Mountains.

@Ami Ann: You do not have a Neptune Affliction, Neptune sq Uranus is a spirituality driver. 6 degree squares are not counted.
For you, Neptune in 12th is a red flag for Depression. Every time a transit that squares Neptune by Sun or Mars or Venus or Moon or Mercury occurs, chances of you getting into a state of depression become very high.

@Diandra: Not surprising at all but the Anubis opposition indicates a very dark past life as well.

@Agent_009: For you, Neptune is not in 12th but still Sun squared by Neptune will increase chances of depression whenever personal planets square Sun while conjuncting Neptune UNLESS you defeat this vibration with a positive attitude. Every affliction is worked out by a positive attitude to "will" change in life.
The biggest danger is for ladies who have Sun and Neptune squared with less than 1 degree orb, and have Pisces Rising. Double Confusion. They tend to make the wrong choices by falling for the fake empathy of abusers. God save them if they have a 6th House Moon in addition to this.

My Dad has

retro Mercury on 18.5 Capricorn

squaring
retro Neptune on 17.2 Libra

quinkunx
retro Pluto on 17.1 Leo

trine
retro Saturn on 18.4 Virgo
retro Atrlantis on 15.5 Virgo
ASCENDANT on 18.0 Virgo

sextile
Siva on 17.3 Scorpio

So he indeed has Mercury-Neptune-square with both planets being retrograde and even connection to Pluto, who also is retrograde.
Yet he`s one of the most intelligent, communicative, kind and supportive people I have ever known.
Having said that, I DO think that this MErcury-Neptune-square makes it sometimes difficult for him to get across what he REALLY means, as much of it happens iNSIDE his head, and sometimes if he starts talking, it is like you come belated into an already ongoing conversation. lol

It drives my mum nuts!

She has Mercury on 12.3 Scorpio

sextile Mars on 13.5 Virgo
sextile Atlantis on 12.3 Capricorn
square Lilith on 12.4 Aquarius
trine Kaali on 13 Pisces
trine Uranus on 13.5 Cancer
trine ASC on 11.2 Cancer

Hi DD,
The Saturn trine Mercury for your dad acts as a brilliant intellectual stabilizer, and has helped transcend the negativity of Mercury sq Neptune. Saturn trine Mercury is also a powerful motivator for righteous action and upholding the truth, even if Neptune sq Mercury confuses the communication.

IQ,

yes, that was my explanation, too, that this Saturn-trine was really a great one to have, especially with that Mercury-Neptune-square.

Here is the chart of a mass murderer; he acknowledged 48 killings I think.
Birthtime is unknown.

I do not really like to look at that chart, cause in 1991 I had the "honour" of witnessing one of his killings during a meditation. Of course back then I did not even know WHAT I had seen.
I learned about him many many years later, when I connected some dots concerning recurring nightmares and an inexplainable fear and sadness whenever I saw the location where they filmed "Twin Peaks". That is how I found out that my vision had actually been sadly true.
I never saw him though, just his victim. And today I think she may have called for "spiritual assistance" if that makes sense. I don`t know.
Ironically he has been sentenced to life in prison exactly on my birthday (18th december)
Isn`t that creepy?

So here is the chart:

His DEIJANIRA is on 14.4 Aquarius conjunct Venus on 15.3 Aquarius, opposing Pluto on 15 Leo.

Saturn in Libra, DD. See the WikiLeaks phenomenon, that is just a 3D occurrence, many from the 4D will ask for justice from every stubborn tyrant and every stubborn nation in denial of crimes. Every victim from behind the dimensional veil will see to it that every killer and accomplice is exposed in these 2 and a half years. Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Aries will ensure that Saturn cannot work for the dark establishment in this period of revelation.

About psycho Gary:
I am quite certain such killers are born around between midnight and 2 AM, and that would create an exact NESSUS opp Moon in Scorpio aspect.
Saturn is opposing Anaretic Sun, KARMA and Mars, I wont count LUST but LUST is in a dangerous T-Square with KAALI and Chiron. Very likely to have been programmed through ritual abuse. Pluto opposing Venus and LUCIFER does not help his twisted desires.

Notice that NEMESIS conj Mercury exactly squares APHRODITE in Scorpio. His mind works like this: "If I am sexually attacted to someone, then she is my enemy". Childhood/Adolescent religious guilt about sexual thoughts and later sexual repression may have further fuelled this twisted, psychotic thinking. Neptune exact conjunct IXION will also not help in stopping such thoughts for a Scorpio Moon male.

so,that is not surprising to you?

when i started to see these,i had the suspicious something could show up,but not that many aspects....cause the darker archetypes are very interlinked not only with me,but iwth JOhn too....

Seems that he has an upper hand,in this life, and in the past one as well,at least i feel it and i can protect myself.but John...?

He continues to excuse him for all his acts, saying he is a "kid in a man´s body"...typical Cancerian of him and of course...his brother gets the upper hand again and continues to manipulate everyone at his expense,

IM really fed up with that, and he is getting worse.

Indeed IQ,he must have had some very dark pastLife too,and im not that sure now that John might have killed him by accident anymore...in some other life.i suspect that this man+s soul is so trapped in his own Self, that he will continue to do wrong deeds, not caring with anyone.

it s my view that maybe John had made something in the past, that "hurted" his brother in some way,and JOhn carries that guilt, just cause he is a loving Soul, with a good heart.always was....and he came in this life to be a cancer asc.,to learn the boundaries/limits that a family must have between him and his happiness.

he is here to learn to love himself 1st,nurture himself, and not be so manipulated like he was in the past ( my eldest sister said that he had tremendous suffering and trauma in his last pastlife)and i suspect it was at his brothers hands.

one thing im sure:i wont enter His game, like he things im entering. i will do my best to protect me and JOnhy and convince him of our Love that is stronger than anything.

His brother wont win again.not untill i crack myself up 1st.
