Pluto is also there and so is the other Cupido that is about marriage and home..

Would strong union, amor, Valentine in synastry diminish the effect of the Cupido’s tendency?

You need to see the whole chart. You can't answer about "fixing" someone but if I had to answer, I would say a strong Moon/Saturn trine would make the person responsible with emotions. Also, someone who had a lot of water would have a lot of empathy and not want to hurt people but this is a fast answer.

Amor for instance doesn't make any significant aspects, but is tightly conjunct Nada.

People may come to YOU with a false face acting as if they care and are interested in you but are not being honest.

Those things are good but this question cannot really be answered in a piece meal kind of way. It would be like writing to a doctor with symptoms here and there. He would need to really examine you lol

I'm confused how Cupido is a player - he is also known as Eros and Amor, and is spending eternity with Psyche

"According to Roman mythology, Cupid was the son of Mercury, the messenger god, and Venus, the goddess of love. In Roman times, the winged "messenger of love" was sometimes depicted in armor, but no one is sure if that was intended as a sarcastic comment on the similarities between warfare and romance, or a reminder that love conquers all. Cupid was generally seen as a good spirit who brought happiness to all, but his matchmaking could cause mischief. Venus wasn't above using her son's power to get revenge on her rivals, and she once plotted to have the beautiful mortal Psyche fall in love with a despicable man. But the plan backfired: Cupid fell in love with Psyche, and she eventually became his immortal wife."

In most cases, one asteroid should not be used to define a person UNLESS it is very dominant like conj the Sun etc and close.

So, with Cupido, if the person had a strong Cupido but other aspects for loyalty like a Cancer moon, for example, the person could be loyal.

Also, Juno is loyalty. Scorpio placements are usually loyal.

You have to see the whole chart but I hope that helps a bit, my Friend.

To add to my reply, the Moon is the core of the person, so see if that person has a loyal moon.

idk if it's already been said, but i'd like to say that this could be an insecurity point...
in the charts i have it seems like this is a weak spot that we have that we value so we try to overcompinsate in it to fit in
in some charts it seems like a blind spot too, like a knee jerk reaction, not something we do conciously but out of nessesity to protect ourselves

an area where we are scared that we are not good enough so around certain people we put extra effort into coming off this way...

based on some of the charts i have

@aries lol

Cupido (and Siva) conjunct NN.

I think the matchmaker mythology resonates.

What I can say about this, is I’ve helped, on seprate occasions, random people get together, not by my hand, but intervention. A few different guys have admitted to me in conversation about women they like a lot, and based on the subconscious details of what I’m hearing them say, I’ll plain out tell them (if it’s clear to me) “you’re in love with her!” and should go ahead kiss her, date her, omg just love her 😍etc. All these guys needed a supportive (suggestive) push.. and one even married the woman down the line! each of them were on the verge of giving up on his own god-given love before giving it a chance because of damn social insecurities and overrationalization, talking about “ahhh love doesn’t last yadda yadda what is love” in the midst of being purple in the face with genuine love pumping through their hearts pffft

I'm not confused.

The association with being a player could be a way for someone getting hurt to rationalize it wasn't their responsibility so they can remain innocent, erroneously.

Lol. They get scared. Coz Sat makes it come across so 'serious'. Like I want marriage or something.

So they reject me-only to come back and say "okay, now I am ready." To which I then respond 'I am no longer there'

This has happened many times.

Many crushes. Mainly from others.

Cupido at 29* Aquarius for me, in my 12th.
Unaspected except for a super loose square from Taurus Vesta and Scorpio Mercury.

My angles are 1/29 degrees though so there is some aspect there too maybe.
