Hi Jovian & Despina,

Thank you so much for your supporting words.

Sorry it took so long to get back. I just felt a bit numbed, needed to let it sink a bit ...
My dreams are such short flashes, I really do wish I could see the whole picture because now I can only guess and wonder, I suppose only time can tell. I think I'm going to ask for an astrological reading to find out more.

There's no past life therapy I can get over here, however reading about other's experiences helps a lot, love reading them.
I do feel blessed and I'm very grateful that I'm offered a second chance. There are times when I'd feel undeserving but again, I realise this is just one of those mental blockages that needs to be worked on.

Thank you both for taking time to read my story and writing these comforting words.

Hello!

oh mirage I had no idea Patch Adams was a real person - I just read all about him and i love him! I will have to watch the movie now and I can see just from reading about him how Robin Williams would be a great actor to play him - he has such a kind face - the eyes and the smile feel very compassionate to me.

Interesting connections! I feel like you both are helping me to express myself and maybe we are all moving towards a kind of healing from sharing our stories here?

I like all kinds of old movies - noir, romance and musicals!

I will respond to Despina and Pandacake's comments after this - but I noticed the wuthering heights reference - other than Steppenwolf (the Herman Hesse novel and hence, the name), it is my favorite work of fiction. I love the Laurence Olivier/ Merle Oberon film version!

I like It's a wonderful life a lot - I have yet to watch either of the eve movies but I do know about them.

Oh I love it happened one night - I like Claudette Colbert a lot.

I don't watch any Hitchcock movies because I don't like suspense/thrillers/scary movies - I am left with long lasting mental images from them that don't leave my mind even years after I have watched them - I have no idea what causes this but I am easily scared. I've only seen Vertigo and I didn't like it much. I know it's more suspense than Psycho type scenes for a lot of his movies but I don't need to get my mind going more than it already does lol.

I have to say I got a little spooked by Jonathan in Arsenic and Old Lace and the 2 aunts even though it was not scary at all. So embarrassing...

I love the Big Sleep -that is kind of a murder mystery but I liked the book a lot as well. I like to have and to have not...I'm looking at the lists - thanks! It's a good starting point for watching all of the older movies I've wanted to.

I love all of the sag energy! I have always just bounced around and had a blast with them - even my favorites exes are all sags

I have a mercury moon square as well - how do you reconcile the tension between the two?

Pandacake- of course it's ok to chime in! I'm so glad you joined the discussion and hope it can help in some way

Can I ask what the degrees are for your stellium? I can look up the meanings of the sabian symbols in my book for you if that would be helpful. That sounds like a heavy stellium...Do you think you were a public figure in that life (10th house) and in this life you have the 12th house placements for a reason? I am not great at doing readings or interpretations so please forgive me if it does not resonate with you?

Oh I just saw that Jovian wrote something similar!

What I have been trying to do is start with any strong feelings I have- the unexpected confirmation of the past life as described in the beginning of this thread really helped me to help trust my intuition more because I have always felt that I had a violent/torturous past life since it was such a crippling fear throughout my life.

I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and have terrible mental images, I try really hard to concentrate on something else -read, watch something funny on tv, etc.

I too am terrified of falling asleep and cannot sleep without at least a little bit of light - I have had sleeping problems for the last 18 years.

Your dream sounds terrifying and I am sorry that it is so scary and confusing for you.

I also agree with what Despina said about most of us at some point having unsavory past life experiences, please feel free to share anything here - that is the purpose of this thread

Have you tried looking down and around again since you tried it the one time? Do you think that may help? I understand if you may not be ready to try again.

What kind of blockages do you feel?

pandacake - I wonder if you could find a past life reading through skype as I know not everyone uses hypnotic regression?

I had a chakra pin removal session over skype (I felt the energy while it was happening!) if you want me to send you a link - I think there may be past life reading services there?

I was not under hypnosis when I received the confirmation of the WWII past life and it resonated with me so deeply.

Hello Despina - nice to meet you and thank you!

Sorry I was absent and not able to join your earlier posts.

I have been oscillating between the hermit lifestyle but summertime commitments (so many birthdays!) and work have kind of forced me to be out and about - I am trying to stay on track with the yoga and I am starting to enjoy meditating a lot more. The shamanic circle was so nice, the people were kind and it was very relaxing.

I am sorry to hear about your chiron/saturn issues...are they hitting points in your chart right now (other than saturn on your asc)? I am also sorry to hear about your family troubles..I don't want to pry, but please do feel free to post anything here

pluto opposite moon must be rough in synastry (I have it natally) - are you the moon or the pluto? do you feel like one of you tries to exert emotional control over the other?

It is always darkest before the dawn - it reminds me of the poem "An awful tempest mashed the air". It's so much easier to write or say that, I know...sometimes it helps me to think of other times in my life that were difficult, going through the emotional meat grinder times and seeing how they have helped me to grow. Of course, a new slew of issues rear their head at some point, but I feel as I get older, I am more equipped to deal with them.

I don't know if that helps - but just sharing what sometimes helps me I hope that things get better and am sending well wishes your way

You're welcome Pandacake! Sorry I couldn't be of more help. It's a shame about having no access to past life therapy. Perhaps if you're really intent on seeing more of the picture you could try past life regression alone or with a friend (I'd recommend the latter!). Haven't done it in a long long time, but it's just like a meditation, I think? I remember going down a tunnel and then seeing a door (of a relative's house, which was probably significant in retrospect). Once I got through the door everything was super vivid for me, so it might be worth a shot. Whatever you decide do feel free to come and share your experiences/feelings... There's a wonderful bunch posting here :-)

And to the wonderful bunch... I've done a bit of a hack job on my previous posts due to a combination of guilt towards the people I was complaining about, guilt at derailing the thread and oversharing, and paranoia (not sure what transit has brought all that up!). I do apologise! Although looking back at my posts I do think they read a little better this way... I mean my God I was doing a lot of venting here :-P Anyways, just wanted to thank all of you once more for your wonderful support <3 I'm loving Mirage's links at the moment! Some of them took me back years... Remember transcribing Ground Control for cello and guitar so that my brother and I could go busking in order to save up for a PC, a long, long, long time ago. Love that song! And Young Frankenstein = One of the funniest movies I've ever seen - thanks for the clip! The Single Ladies one is hilarious too... For another interpretation try Pomplamoose: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIr8-f2OWhs And you've got a gremlin? Noooo!!!

And Jovian, that copy of Wuthering Heights is certainly a keeper :-) Both Kate Bush and the Bronte sisters are fab in my book. Anyone else here a fan of Jane Eyre? I know it could have used some editing, but I just love that eery, untangible connection between Jane and Rochester, as well as Charlotte's symbolic use of landscape/weather. If you're a fan, I'd also recommend her later novel Villette. It deals with depression super super well. Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea is also brilliant... a rewrite of Jane Eyre from 'the madwoman' in the attic's perspective. Ah books, books, books... Haven't read Steppenwolf, but the wikipedia article on it makes it sound great! Another one for the pile, methinks. Nice Dickinson poem too :-)

As for the astrobabble... Chiron is squaring my natal Chiron/Saturn opposition, and Jupiter is also sitting on my Chiron. Joy! Thanks for the kind words, Steppenwolf! I'm the Pluto person in the exchange I mentioned, and it does indeed seem to be a rough placement synastry wise, although I don't have any experience of it natally. Don't think I'm being emotionally controlling, but then, who does? Lol :-) Looking back, I've had someone's pluto square or conjunct my moon before. Barring one, the friendships have been manipulation/drama free, but I do think the pluto person has something on you. It's like they see hidden aspects of your personality that you may not be comfortable with/may not have acknowledged in the past. I think what they do with that information depends on how Pluto is placed for them natally. That's my experience of it, anyway.

Hi Despina,

How are you doing? I hope things are getting better!

I completely understand about the guilt when I vent. I'm actually doing a little exercise where I can't say anything bad about anyone for a month and a half. Not that I like to say bad things at all or want to, but sometimes your feelings get hurt and you have to vent, etc. I always find myself feeling guilty and praying for forgiveness for days afterwards so I'll see how this goes lol! It's been about 2 weeks and I feel really good about it. Anyways not to totally derail this...

I can see where the pluto person may have some insight that would make the moon person feel vulnerable. A handful of my close friends have their moon conjunct my pluto and saturn (and opposite my moon) and I feel like I know they are more emotional than they ever let on and I know how they will react to certain things although they are private and won't talk about it unless they really feel the need to (all of these people have scorpio moon).

It's not that there is any manipulation and in the case of scorpio moon, they will open up when they choose to - my taurus moon can wait ages

I think it can be intense in a good way but as always, that depends on the people involved.

i love Jane Eyre by the way and I will check out Villette - thank you for the recommendation!

Hope you are doing ok and have a nice weekend!

Look at harsh aspects to HIROSHIMA and NIPPONIA for suffering in WW2 Japan.

Affliction from Fixed Star ALGOL is another clincher of WW1 or WW2 suffering.

Some aspects may indicate that a person was the oppressor than victim.

Would I be reading it correctly with some of the following aspects?

SN conj. Algol + Alekto the fury (against anger, revenge?) and Armandhammer (arm and hammer?).

Karma-Tisiphone-NOT-Lie-Nostalgia-Niger-Mexico square the nodes.
Tisiphone is the fury of avenging murders.

Hiroshima 6 Aqu 39' opp. ASC-Philia (+ Taranis the thunder god at 39' past exact).
Tesla 5 Aqu 45' conj. Hiroshima.
Patientia 7 Leo 23. (Patience, or patient?)
China-Child-Mahakala-Britastra 8 Leo.

Venus 6'57 R Virgo (+ Requiem, Constable, Quirk, Jedicke, Xosa, etc.)
Pluto 7 Lib 36' conj. Magnanimity-Ramakrishna-Columbia-Merman.

Annefrank + Ixion + Nemesis 7 Sco.
Nessus conj. Israel square MC-IC.
Nipponia-Ellis 6 Sag 30' trine ASC, Wurm 7 Sag 54'.

Sun conj. Susanoo the Japanese sea + storm god.
Nagasaki 12 Libra opp. 13 Aries Eris.

Russia + Antarctica 24 Tau opposite 23 Sco Ops.
Veteraniya 15 Leo 35'.
Brno 17 Aqu 33' R conj. Proserpina-Gregoriana.
Hinderer 18 Aqu 17' R opp. 18 Leo Discovery.
Thule-Soomana 16 Aqu
inconjunct Lucifer 16 Can
+ trine Navajo-Aristotle-Samaan 16 Libra
+ trine Adolfine-Mithra-Yeti-Ur, Mjolnir, Etna 15-17 Gem.

Strong Japanese links for a possible past life at least in WWII times? Annefrank-Ixion-Nemesis for suffering or capture and/or torture? Hiroshima as devastation opposite the Ascendant? Possibly more to do with a partner or outside circumstances?

Ellis reminds me of Ellis Island so conjunct Nipponia and trine the ASC it seems to me more of a positive thing, perhaps with some possibility of immigration? America is conj. Mercury. Nipponia-Ellis square Venus with that inconjunct Hiroshima seems less smooth-running.

The contacts to the ASC + Sun seem stronger with the Japanese side than with the German or Russian front things. Unrelatedly, I'm highly amused by Navajo conj. Samaan if the latter hints at anything shaman-related.

Links to the Nodes and Karma are to try and negate whatever influences from past suffering? All the sore spots are covered by "avenging angels" with Nemesis or the Furies/Kindly Ones. Nemesis was more to do with the social order from what I recall.

Would all that be more helpful for a person or "bad" (until dealt with)?

There is also a reasonably "entertaining" conjunction of the asteroids Stalingrad, Ethiopia and Incidentia at 2 Leo, the midpoint of ASC/Saturn. The Antiscia for the spot is 27 Tau near Algol.

More so "entertaining" in the sense of how easily that reads as "the grim Stalingrad Ethiopia-incident" if you read Ethiopia to hint at starvation.

What am I missing with all those otherwise?

BTW, you tie Mahakala to death in another post. I'm aware that Mother Theresa seems to have had Mahakala conj. the Galactic Centre though, so I'm not reading that as an automatic bearer of doom only.

This is bizarre !! I can't believe our thread just got bumped...by someone else!

Mirage--can you believe this?! Just when you've returned, and I've been referencing this thread. But-- I just should not be surprised by how the universe works, at this point.

...I just went back in time and interjected an alert on page 3, that the thread veers from asteroids for several pages!

Hi Keela. Nice to see someone else here who is into past life research.

...I do hope Iq drops in to comment. Black Seraph also, who apparently has a lot of WWII-suggestive asteroid aspects, as well as possibly others related to military conflicts and intrigue, as you can see; as well as Steppenwolf.

Oh, and yes, hello again to you here as well. I forgot about this as time ran by but BlackSeraph showing up in the Chernoby-post made me dig this up again.

I'd research possible past lives as gladly as anything else but finding the correct starting points can get a little hit and miss. Threads like this can shed a little light or provide even just handy starting points as said.

Nice. Good timings then I see. Happy birthdays to everyone else, too, as well as Jovian.

I'm just testing things with the following, so ignore if there isn't anything like this. Should be if nothing else. Picture a lovely one just the way you like it.

Thanks for the imaginary cake, Keela. It is indeed delicious.

I'm thinking something like this:

...And look at these bad-ass Sag cakes!

...And a cookie!

I am enjoying my virtual cake with you all right now.

Happy Birthday to all the Saggs around here.
