He once left a candy bar on my desk.. IT was my FAVORITE kind of candy.. It said from ME!!
I told him, that was the BEST gift ever, because he knew it was my favorite and he thought of me.. Better than diamonds!
It meant a lot to me, that he did that..

I also have a Cappy Venus, but I do not care for money and material things. Well, not as a status symbol as least. Couldnīt care less about that.
I am more concerned with the security it seems to bring. So I`d like to have some money to indulge my hobbies and pasttimes and have a roof above my head and something to eat, but beyond that, money is just paper to me.

Well, the dispositor of my Venus is in Cancer and the Duad Sign of my Venus is in Pisces, maybe that figures in into this.

I also have Moon in Aquarius in 2nd house, with the dispositor in Scorpio, so that might counteract the materialism that sometimes comes with Cappy Venus.

That is SO sweet!
Because it is personal.

Actually something similiar happened to me last schoolweek. One course was finished, and it was our last lesson, and my pupils bought me a HUGE stuffed animal, a dog called Ursula, as a goodbye gift with a long letter attached.

The story behind it is that one day they were saying they had seen me with my dog in the city. I assured them that I neither lived in the city nor had a dog (must have been someone looking like me). But they would go on and invent a story for my "dog Ursula". lol
A bit of a game between this course and me, and some day I wanted to put an end to all of this, I got into class with a sorrowful face and said: "I am so sorry, but I have to tell you something very sad, but you need to know, since you cared so much for her. My made up, not existent dog Ursula died last weekend."

Well, thta was half a year ago or so; And this was the story behind the gift.
Needless to say I completely love that present they gave me. Because of its personal and sentimental value.

Something like that happens really rarely in school, and I think it shows that I must have done something right in that course. Though of course in the end it always boils down to a certain kind of chemistry between pupils and teacher, and I really loved teaching them.

But that is the kind of gift I appreciate the most.

...I am annoyed that currently my Pr. Venus is square my Pr. Saturn...and the person I'm obsessing over, several years older, has the same right now. Now that I think about it, I think I noticed that a few months ago, but must have conveniently blocked it from my awareness. No other remarkable progressed synastry going on... Pfft.
