Kaali has a lot to do with bloodline, would DNA be the simular in its expression as Kaali? What does it mean in synastry, does it show your lives will have similar paths if these make a lot of connections or family connections if personal planets are involved??
Would this be kind of like a double whammy?

I'll personally gladly take any information about possible past lives in posts that take that approach, but even in one I reminded myself to also look at the asteroids from a contemporary perspective. The "How are they going to work now?" seems a more important feature for this life, whether it's your first and only one or whether you believe in the possibility of several. The approach of going for both or anything that may work may seem a bit non-committal, but will hopefully provide a chance at more information quicker.

So thanks for the reminder about the energy.

As for the original poster, here's a video about Kali that may enlighten about some of her aspects? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnDB31O7-fg She's fierce at the very least, and the Durga-form tends to remind me a little of Sekhmet so maybe there are some connections there, too.

I had a friend who interpreted Kali in general as assisting in her transitions, the same being hinted at in the video with talk of Shiva being timeless and Kali being the time and change side?

There's been a lot of talk about Kaali's Kundalini (so... energy, yes) side in previous threads on the board, but with her being the goddess of death change should also logically follow. Through that I could guess that if it's about changes, then hopefully ending up as more who or what you're meant to be in life should follow. If it's something "bad" after your choice, hopefully you'll learn from it and head toward something better after learning that (with her help in another change?).

I'm not too well-versed in the mythology or more practical ways the asteroid Kaali may have worked for other people so far, so I look forward to reading more people pitching in.

My apologies for not addressing the synastry question in the first reply but I didn't have your original post open in front of me when writing to Ami. Plus I'm a half clueless learner myself, not to mention new and butting in too much? Seeing your username I figure you've already read many of the posts the Google results would offer.

PURE UNEDUCAMATED GUESSES and fumbling follows.

From what I recall IQ's associated Kaali conj. DNA and Kaali conj. Venus in natal charts with the reptilian bloodline potentials, but that's if you're open to such theories around here. One never knows what each person is looking into or interested in.

In synastry, I imagine he may say something about the genetic wiring or potential in another person helping the other's Kaali or Kundalini-rise, DNA and the spirals being connected from some POVs. There's talk of DNA activation for "Ascension to 5D" and that tying in with Kundalini type things so perhaps synastry contacts would help two people with such a thing IF whoever subscribed to that particular belief. As said above, people are looking into different kinds of things each from their own perspective.

Basically I'm just guessing or mimicking based on what distant memories I have of past threads or things.

Your DNA looks to be quite far from his Kaali though and I think IQ's talked about preferring orbs under two degrees somewhere? It probably depends on what else there is and where in houses that is, so unless Part of Fortune does more than I expect, it doesn't look like a double whammy per se.

Kaali is conj. Siva by ~2,5 and fine like that otherwise though so I'd ask if you have anything with Parvati or Rudra to mix in with those if wanting to focus on an Indian theme? Do any of those have any contact with angles or significant planets?

There used to be two HUGE "Questions to IQHunk" and "Answers from" him style posts but I can't seem to locate them via Google just now to remind myself about everything that got asked on those. I have no idea what happened to those.

LOL...it all good! Yes, ive looked online but not much shows up...i need to reread what you wrote to me, im heading out the door now but i will when i get home! I'll look up our kaali, siva, rudra, parvati as i know we have some major connections just cant remember what they are. In draco we have isis/orisis conjunct under a degree... and hera/zues opposed under 2 degrees.

I think this might be one of the links you were talking about regarding iQhunk, maybe?

Actually I was looking for the following one and the questions thread related to it. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum28/HTML/000089.html Some 22 pages of info to use in one way or another. There's something toward the bottom of page four about Zeus and Hera, too, but I haven't waded much further than that in my current reread.
