This is fascinating. Thanks for bumping it. There's an eerie synchronicity about it for me right now. My partner and I just had Vesta touch off our c-Vesta-Pluto (trine Eros-Moon on the IC). This is confirmation of everything I already knew. It's been something of a giant blinking neon arrow pointing to our behind-the-scenes purpose. (Vesta being in our 12H.)
In a word, the work we've done concerning sex is secret - but potentially of great benefit to society in terms of our problem with homicide, and sex abuse.
(Off-handedly, Masters and Johnson had their Vestas quindecile. If that's not spot on .... I'd love to have data for other researchers since - but I can't find much. No birth time for John Money, for example. I'm debating on asking those living - just because I want to do the research. Heh. Maybe Ellis? Kinsey's has gotta be out there.)
Now I want to delve deeper into HOW Vesta is operating in charts where it's prominent. For example, the prominence in my husband's indicates that he's very comfortable with his sexuality (Vesta-Venus-Mercury in Cancer), that he is, 'devoted' to sex.
My partner and I are both workaholics, on the other hand, and prefer sex to be purposeful. Sometimes, there's enough of a push - but it's far less frequent than there being a clear purpose.
Mine: Leo, 12H, conjunct NNode; square Eros-Merc-Lilith and Chiron; sextile Sun-Pluto-BML, and Psyche; trine Neptune.
His: Scorpio, 12H, conjunct Neptune; square Venus-Karma; sextile Uranus-Pluto-Psyche; trine Mercury-VX; quincunx Moon-BML and Valentine, Mars.
I wonder if a lot of the similar approach stems from their both being 12H.
Either way, fascinating stuff. I look forward to really digging in this time.
