What immediately jumped out at me was the Yod from Kaali/Saturn/Anubis sextile Pinocchio/Pluto/Moon/Lucifer, both sets quincunx Jupiter Retrograde/Black Moon Lilith on Aldeberan. The Kite from Prey on Antares drawing the string.

This was certainly not a prosperous occassion for anyone involved. Now, Jupiter on Aldeberan normally translates as: "Great ecclesiastical honor and high military preferment." About the only thing military about this was the firepower used and the police response afterwards. The ecclisiastical part would be the outpouring of prayers for the families and victims themselves. The devestating nature of the event is certainly exemplified by the Saturn/Pluto sextile portion, which can be seen here. (To sum that part up, catharsis and transformations). Kaali amplifies Saturn and Lucifer plays his part with Pluto. Moon with Pluto? Extremely emotional time. I'm uncertain how the Pinnochio part plays out in this, though I'm certain there are those who will examine the event and likely lie to themselves about the implications (in whatever form this takes, it all depends). Prey on Antares draws back the string on the bow of the Yod, which, sadly, there was much preying. Antares amplifies Prey in this instance: "According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Mars and Jupiter. Alvidas gives Jupiter sextile Venus, but this is unlikely considering the decidedly martial and malefic nature of the star. It causes malevolence, destructiveness, liberality, broad-mindedness, evil presages and danger of fatality and makes its natives rash, ravenous, headstrong and destructive to themselves by their own obstinacy." With the shooter also dead, this interpretation is self-apparent.

What also strikes out at me is the somewhat-off-kilter T-Square between Jupiter Rx/BMLilith/Aldeberan and Sado/Mercury (refer to the thread on Sado), with the apex on Destinn/Chiron/Rudra. The shooter was absolutely sadistic in the fact that this was even carried out. Much wounded healing is now forced on the populace, and with recent shootings, wounded healing that was destined to come to the forefront sooner or later. Sooner now.

With the Prey/Antares link from the Yod, we also have a slightly-not-as-off-kilter T-Square blending with the aforementioned T-Square with that apex at Tyranosaurus. According to Mark Andrew Holmes, Tyranosaurus lends us to "formidable, menacing, voracious, predatory, dangerous."

I think it's safe to say that we could really blend those two off-balance T-squares together in this case as such: A sadistic message sent to shatter our sense of safety and security by preying on the innocent and on familial blood (the shooter's mother who worked at the school as I understand it), devestating and destructive in its effect and forcing a catharsis and wounding that not just the community of Newtown, CT, but verily the entire nation must now endure.

Another yod can be seen with the ugliness of the familial aspect (matricide) of this (DNA/Chimera/Medusa) with the violent shattering of the illusion by the slaughter of defenseless innocents (Vulcano/Annefrank/Neptune/Bologna) when the shooter exalted himself (Ascendant/Desdemona) over others (Descendant/Petrginz/Dejanira).

(Desdemona seems to mean "to be sad or 'down,' to be victimized, to be or see oneself as blameless." The shooter may not have blamed himself but put the onus on others (there is also report that he had a personality disorder and may have had Aspergers if I'm interpreting the headlines correctly). Petrginz was named for a young victim who was gassed (along with many others) died at Auschwitz. Dejanira, as we are well aware from numerous threads, deals with victimization).

Gunn (deals with guns or gunning with people) on the Galactic Center seems somehow telling, especially when paired with Juno (the family impacted by the power of the gun in this case).

Apophis/Fantasia: Given the alleged mental state of the shooter, I can only speculate what destructive fantasies may have existed leading up to this horrible tragedy.

I'll close with this: Atropos (endings) on Algol is all too painfully clear. The South Nodes on this I believe to represent the shattered foundations of what was (in this case, innocence and the belief of being safe in the classroom). Algol, being the most malific star in the heavens, reflects all too well what happened down below here. As the North Node with Pandora reflects, a horrific Pandora's Box has been opened in light of this and other recent events (the Oregon Mall shooting; and the 22-children-slashing incident in China, where firearms are a little harder to come by but someone still managed to find a way to inflict large-scale harm without one).

Similar murder attempt occurred near a Chinese school but fortunately no casualties of children. Imagine if China had same gun laws like USA, those children would be dead.

Yesterday, Randall had a premonition and asked about Toutatis, I mentioned its association with human sacrifice rituals.

But I would never have imagined such an event, even with the dark transits of Dec 13-16.

There could be a deliberate side tactic to instill some more gloom and doom about 21st December, to prevent humanity from accessing positive vibes.

Let us not forget: Dozens of kids in Newtown showed more courage than grown ups.
Some waited for their classmates to come out so that all could be taken to safety. Selfless Heroism at age 6!
