Good points!

I've edited my post by adding degrees (didn't include minutes, but I guess if you need those, I can go back and add them too).

Thank you!

http://www.goddess.ws/kali.html

Of all the forms of Devi, She is the most compassionate because She provides moksha or liberation to Her children. She is the counterpart of Shiva the destroyer. They are the destroyers of unreality. The ego sees Mother Kali and trembles with fear because the ego sees in Her its own eventual demise. A person who is attached to his or her ego will not be receptive to Mother Kali and she will appear in a fearsome form. A mature soul who engages in spiritual practice to remove the illusion of the ego sees Mother Kali as very sweet, affectionate, and overflowing with incomprehensible love for Her children.

Enormous power. Use it wisely. It can be fearful, yes, but if you can embrace that energy it will cleanse you and empower you more than you can imagine.

That energy "spike" is power flowing to you not away. What is being sucked away is what keeps you from stepping into your power...

Thomas Jefferson had kaali conj mercury. In fact just about every American president has had a significant aspect with Kaali.

And yes.... The potential for tantric sex (kundalini awakening through the act of love) is there when kaali touches venus. But as you can see from the above it is not all fun and games.

From http://www.orderwhitemoon.org/goddess/kali/Kali.html
"Kali's blackness symbolizes Her comprehensive nature, as in black all colors merge. Just as all colors disappear lin black, so all names and forms disappear in Her (Mahanirvana Tantra). Black can also represent the absence of color, signifying the nature of Kali as ultimate reality. Either way, Kali's color symbolizes Her transcendence of all form.Kali's nudity has similar meaning. She is described as garbed in space or sky clad. In Her primordial nakedness, She is free from all covering of illusion. Her nudity th o totally illumined consciousness. Kali is the bright fire of truth, not hidden by the trappings of ignorance.Kali is full-breasted. As our Mother, She creates endlessly. Her garland of fifty human heads, each representing one of the fifty letters of the Sanskrit alphabet, symbolizes knowledge and wisdom. Her girdle of severed human hands are the principal instruments of work and signify the action of karma. The binding effects of karma are overcome by devotion to Kali. She blesses devotees by cutting us free from the cycle of karma. Her white teeth are symbolic of purity and Her red tongue shows that She consumes all things and enjoys tasting what society regards as forbidden, Her indiscriminate enjoyment of all the world's flavors.Kali's four arms represent the complete circle of creation and destruction. Her right hands, making the sign of fear not and conferring boons, represent Her creative aspect. Her left hands, holding a bloodied sword and a severed demon head, represent her destructive aspect. The bloodied sword and severed head symbolize the destruction of ignorance and the dawn of knowledge. The sword is the sword of knowledge, that cuts through ignorance and destroys false consciousness (the severed head). Her three eyes represent the sun, moon and fire, with which She observes the past, present and future. This is the origin of the name Kali, the feminine form of Kala, the Sanskrit word for Time. The cremation ground, Kali's dwelling place, is where the five elements
are dissolved. This symbolizes the dissolving of attachments, anger, lust and other emotions, feelings and ideas. The heart of the devotee is where this burning takes place and it is in her heart that Kali dwells. The devotee, under Kali's influence, burns away all limitations and ignorance. This inner cremation fire in the heart is the fire of knowledge, which Kali bestows. The image of Shiva lying under the feet of Kali shows Shiva as the passive potential of creation. Kali is Shakti, the universal feminine creative principle and energizing force. Kali empowers Shiva. Shakti is expressed as the i in Shiva's name. Without the i, Shiva becomes Shva, which in Sanskrit means a corpse. So, without Shakti, Shiva is powerless or inert. This is the origin of the saying Shiva without Shakti is Shava.

Great quote.
I have Sun conjunct Kaali exact in the 1st house ... what does it mean about Kaali being the foribben demon hunter and collecting the human heads? Does it relate to despising real evil? and the tasting of what society rules as forbidden relating to blood?

How old are you PlutoFish? Ah, yes, I see your chart on the other page.

Kaali on Sun will give you a great deal of ego power. While we all need egos in this world, to be carried away with it tends to lead to much trouble. That power that is boosting you can also lead you to feel invincible...which will lead to purification of the ego...not a bad thing, in fact what most people hope for when they involve themselves in spiritual matters.

Lucky you, if you are able to use it wisely! If you use it to gain power over others, maybe not so lucky you, or them.

Some people are old at 19, others young at 90. Whether either is fun and good I guess is a matter of opinion lol.

I guess I could be old enough to be your grandmother, if I'd started my family early. My mother used to say "That is a question a lady doesn't have to answer"...but I would be a very young grandmother

Yeh i know what you mean, one of the most known spiritaul quotes of all time is "death to the ego", lol, though i think it gives you a good deal of creative expression and the ability to teach well, but with Kaali i seem to be able to get my ego, sucked away, to some extent, or it absorbs to much energy that my sun hides .. haha, its an odd asteroid, i wish there was more info on it online ...

I think your best bet is to look for information on the goddess kaali. Quite complex, and you're right, there isn't much on the asteroid that I've seen either.

I think with that position you might be able to step off the "wheel of karma" in this life, but don't rush it, like I said, enormous power. Like a fire that burns away the dross, too much destroys more than it energizes.

No, but if I were 18 I would probably think the same.(that being a grandmother would make someone feel old) I was afraid of age once upon a time, but I keep up with the young uns pretty good. I've had a pretty amazing life, but I wouldn't want to have to learn all those things all over that it taught me along the way!

anno I think more likely you can become karma free through dealing with the energy kaali brings ..

I like the storm in teacup metaphor! How about a volcano in an anthill, since kaali supposedly BURNS away whatever resists or obstructs her mission?

i heal and regenerate myself, it's just chi kung, anyone can do it. maybe it comes more naturally for a kaali sun. the virgo kaali sun heals others in a professional capacity.

what IQ wrote me:

'Sun conjunct Kaali is extremely high natural Kundalini Energy, and this aspect has been found in the element of Water in the charts of highly magnetic personalities and even Royal Bloodlines. You however belong to the blazing category of Sun and Kaali in Aries, who can utilize the full Kundalini Potential in being pioneers in any area of choice. Leadership traits increase tremendously when Kundalini Energy is active in Aries. Pineal Gland is naturally potent, and so is the Pituitary/Crown Chakra link.

AURA conjunct Kaali and Sun: This is one aspect that can lead to spontaneous development of Psychic or even Clairvoyant gifts. You will know by knowing, without any rational explanation. The secret is via the Auras of other people that transmit the information you need to your Aura but this happens on an unconscious Mind Level.

When I see a person's chart with Sun conjunct Kaali, my first reaction is that I get alarmed because the vast majority of psychically gifted people who have been subject to the controversial MK Ultra and Monarch programming have a very strong Kaali in the Water Element. I was relieved to see Aries for you. Aries Energy fights back and cannot be enslaved.

A simple tip is visualizing that you are surrounded by Pale Pink Energy. This is the energy of unconditional acceptance. It will minimize others discomfort when their subconscious feels that you know their thoughts. In fact, the correct application of color will help you immensely as this has a knack of calming down sudden excess of Kundalini Shakti.'

My Kaali is on ascendant with Pallas, I guess it isn`t the greatest placement for it. She is also sextiling venus trining Jupiter and squarinq Mercury - all within two degrees orb. I suppose that I have a prominent Kaali because it is on Ascendant, but I do not know how it manifest itself though.

it's an on going study for me. might be unrelated to this, but i see my chart played out in the lives of those around me. for instance, jupiter over mc has not only expanded my career, but i am seeing the effect in people close to me aswell. it's like my chart is reflected in 'the other', which i guess would make sense seeing as most of my personal planets are dotted around the dsc. i noticed i trigger other people's mars a lot, just by being mars dom. same with venus, pluto, and i'm attracting lilith types by the boat load. she is natally conj my chart ruler, currently transiting 10th. i'm generally a trigger for action in people. don't know what effect actual synastry must have lol, this is just a pattern i noticed which i am throwing out there, i can't be 100% sure it's kaali related.
