I was talking to some LL friends about this and one put up the Asteroid numbers for all the Wonderland characters. She said that Alice was the sane one in a world gone mad. That got me thinking that that was my life. I have a strong logical and rational chart. I have a Gemini stellium in the 9th House with a Cancer Moon conjunct the MC.

For those people who do not understand what this means, it is that I was gifted with detachment, logic, reason and objectivity. I grew up in a home that made no sense, just like Alice’s world. Nothing was as it seemed. I was like an oasis in desert of trouble and angst. In time, I became numb, as happens with continued trauma.

However, I am writing this article because I checked the Alice asteroid in my chart and she is conjunct my Mercury , exact. This one aspect is the story of my life, as surely as anything in my chart. Discovering this make me fall more in love with Astrology and the Creator of our charts, God, who has a plan for each of us.

alice in wonderland makes me think of myths because of the dramatic transformations and how that messes with time/space & so logic.

i am easily confused. also growing up there was often a narrative which wasn't true to me either. to some extent and because of my air singleton i do invest in logic a lot to try and solve that. but, at the same time, i like dream logic a lot.

the film scared me when i was young because of the queen saying off with her head - maybe that was the threat of logic being removed.

also i wonder if curiosity comes into it as i do seem to have that excessively.

Hmmm
What touches Chiron is a source of pain so maybe your being rational and able to deal with things was something that brought you pain such as that you lived in a crazy environment and had to be the sane one.

no i think im very irrational in love in many ways. i do work very hard to rationalise it because of that though, if it helps. i have saturn looking over my venus in square so theres an element of that caution. no-one would describe me as rational in love though followed many white rabbits !-!

i do go for excitement but sometimes within those people it is the ... rational part which seals it for me, is an attraction which i find surprising but is there.

i have had themes of what is real being important and have tried to hold onto reality, whilst feeling a little insane.

with madhatter i'd have expected that to be more on my dsc and related to others. purely on my vague knowledge of the character. your interpretation though, which i wouldn't have got from the character myself, i do relate to. will have to go read the book and see what i get from it.

I don't know that Alice equals stable....maybe stable within ones self but Alice lived in an chaotic place that's made it hard for her to determine what was real and not....so potentially the place she lands in going to be a place that always has an air of questioning what's really going on...
Like on your Mercury Ami, your probably always going to feel a bit insecure wondering if your understanding things correctly, intellectually you probably doubt yourself and wonder if your missing things that would give you the full picture, when in reality if you would just sit back and trust yourself it would all one to you in time.

This is so true, Gabby. You would believe the people who ask me for advice. Many are successful and very well balanced. They tell me I have really clear, logical thinking but I doubt myself.

You question yourself, your value, and worry that even when everything is fine....is it really fine? Is something about to go down that will change everything in a split second? You don't want to trust your self worth because your afraid if you do, you might find out it you really were not worthy of that and life will crumble around you because built a foundation on that incorrect assumption of yourself.
Try to relax!!! Loving yourself will never hurt you!! Questioning your worthiness of self esteem is what's going to make anyone's world crumble!

Add Eros to that, you question your ability to be sexual and if you can accept others being sexual with you...it makes it hard to trust that they really find you arousing, probably as your being sexual there is an inner dialog questioning what's going on, wondering if they truly find you attractive, wondering if your really enjoying this, if this is what it's supposed to feel like, is there more to it are you supposed to be doing more for it to be what it's supposed to be and how it's supposed to feel?
Probably is a real kill joy to you!! Again, try to relax and feel, stop over thinking it!

Retrograde Alice is going to cause a lot of internal dialog...where other Alice's might question others feelings or intents you question your own constantly!
I'm going to throw out a scenario that I think Alice and Chiron together would cause....do you relate?
