Anyone here with a Taurus Ceres? My Ceres is in Taurus on the 29th degree.

What is your attitude towards food? I love food, and I like to drizzle my food with lots of delicious sauces. I made a strawberry sauce for my English class since we're having a pancake party for the end of the year. I also tend to eat a lot of junk food at points since I crave food so much, but I'm a bit underweight

Just wondering if this is why I eat the way I do lol

------------------
Aquarius Sun, Merc, Venus, Uranus, Neptune
Scorpio Mars conj. Asc in First
8th House Moon opposite Pluto, Trine Uranus
Have you caught onto the predicament I'm in yet?

Randall said we can keep Ceres in Astro 2.0. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/232087.html

I have Gemini Ceres, so I just eat my words.

Those must be some delicious words Faith lol. I thought you could post it in Astrology 2.0, which is why I originally posted it there.

I know a lot of people with Gemini Ceres, but I'm the only one I know with a Taurus Ceres. It's square Venus and opposite chiron
But luckily Trine Mercury and Neptune

It's also in the 8th. Probably explains a lot lol

Either way is fine. It's supposed to be a dwarf planet, but there are some Ceres threads in Asteroid Astrology.

If anyone posts a Ceres thread in Astrology 2.0 and wants it to stay there, indicate it. I still don't know what Chiron is. I was moving them here, but now I just leave them.

Then I guess with Ceres in Pisces I eat my dreams.

BTW incidentally I love fish as a meal. So does my mom, who also has Ceres in Pisces.

I have Ceres in Taurus. I can confirm, I eat food(:

Feeling nourished from a healthy meal makes me feel nurtured and more nurturing. I also am Virgo rising. Surprisingly not a picky eater, although I’m vegan, this may come from my experiences w Chiron in the 2nd.

Ceres conj the ascendant sounds like a very pleasant presence especially in Taurus. Are you a cook or do you cook a lot?

Awww, thank you! I have always loved food. So Much. To the point where I would never go on a first date with someone, and now I don't like to eat out with my husband because when I eat I am completely taken over and have sauce dripping down my face - practically inhaling my food. Not attractive.

I was never really taught how to cook. It wasn't until my progressed moon transited through Taurus about 5 ish years ago that I really learned how to cook and I became so good my husband gained 40 pounds and I gained 20. We are now getting back down to a healthy weight and we're really enjoying the "keto" lifestyle!

That’s awesome you guys are doing it together, I don’t think I would’ve been able to change my diet without my friend doing it with me. Sharing meals with someone on the same diet makes it 10x easier!

I have it conjunct my Chiron and Sun in Aries, Mercury more widely. I can be really picky, and go through phases of craving different things. When I'm starving, I crave things like refried beans, or cheese.

I don't like seafood. I sometimes crave salads, my body balances out when it comes to cravings. My stomach is bad, and I can get sick a lot, but oatmeal usually works out okay. Congee can work, or it can bloat. Smoothies on some days, soup on other days. Hot tea, or iced chai. Noosa yogurt. Kefir. I practically live on the above. I should be making more smoothies. Some days, nothing settles. Water is one of those things that doesn't always settle, so I can't drink as much as I'm supposed to.

That’s very interesting Teasel! It took me some time to notice the moving object but it’s fun to see it as an actual celestial object rather than something drawn in a birth chart.

My Ceres is at an anaretic degree in 29Gemini31 in H9. The only aspect it makes is sextile Chiron. I guess I’m trying to heal and nurture myself through knowledge? I’m not sure, but I know that I’m on a path of healing myself and I do find myself attracted to any information about that subject available. Food for the soul?

I do love actual food though, but that’s probably my Taurus stellium and Cancer Mars talking.
