***EDIT 2:

Have you ever experienced a loss when it comes to your Ceres placement? Perhaps through the parent, or perhaps in a relationship?

For instance, Ceres conjunct Venus in synastry (from experience), feels wonderfully caring and nurturing. However losing it through drifting apart has felt like an immense loss, full of grief and heartbreak.

Has anyone had similar experiences? How do you heal from a Ceres sadness?[/B]

Randall,
OP meant this to be a "synastry" question--
not meant to be an inclusive "general" open discussion about Ceres and her effects in the lives of individuals here.

You could always reword your original post here...
Or, get the conversation about relationship over in interpersonal forum.

It's up to you! *hug*

Just left content in your (Implosion's) 'relationship' thread.

I snipped part of what I was going to say,
and leaving a small part here, so I can 'save' what I typed.

My Ceres is 'ground zero' for the cluster conjunction that's going to occur in the future, in last degrees of Capricorn.

I'll be having my Ceres-Return during that tightly BUNDLED amazing time, ..
I have both an exceedingly-tight T-square AND a beautiful trine of these to my Moon H(9).

The upcoming Future GENERAL transit
(a year from now),
with grand-cluster-junction,
HAS Ceres Capricorn as part of the energetics at final degrees of Capricorn.

On USA's Pluto Return.

Ceres Pluto
this combination emphasizes the archetypal Ceres-Pluto theme of "loss and return"

Ceres Saturn
this combination can signify a solid and realistic foundation for nurturing activities.

Ceres Jupiter
this combination combines a 'social vision' and exploratory urge with the values of Ceres.

There are those in our community who have a cluster conjunction there, of outer planets.

Hope you'll be able to use information.
Frightening and exhilarating Time of Change.

I'll add more on the Rulerships of Ceres, later.

Thank you! I checked out the other post as well (I need to search, but I think I might actually own the book in question! Strange.

And yes, there is the Ceres/Venus conjunction where I am Venus, but in actuality, their Ceres is actually conjunct my Pluto/Pof to the degree, (Venus is only 2 degrees away since they're all in a stellium) so it's interesting you posted about Ceres/Pluto here. I have definitely felt immense issues of loss, and I know they are tied much deeper than to just this person.

I have been struggling for a long while now with 'self worth' and what you mentioned in the other thread, about the Ceres/Venus issues being layered onto issues surrounding self worth ... Very on the nose. Perhaps because the Sun/Pluto involving that I have, I assume it has to do with my connection to my father (who sadly passed away in May of last year, IRONICALLY during Taurus season). I have Vesta rx in Taurus opposing my Scorpio stellium, but so far I have yet to penetrate the issues of what I am missing. Getting therapy here is a very slow process, so I've been doing what I can in the meanwhile, but I know this area is really causing me distress.

I've got to see if I can find that book here, haha. Thank you for sharing this information, Mirage!
