What's the difference between the asteroid and the other liliths on astro.com? I have the asteroid in virgo 5H, oscillating lilith in 11H aries, another lilith in 10H pisces. I'm confused lol.

😂 There are just so many! Do you use a certain one and just stick to that? And which one is in the drop box in astro? I haven't been able to figure out that yet either lol.

Solution: don't use Lilith at all.

This sounds like terrible advice, especially if you want to use Lilith, but I just can't wrap my mind around all the different Liliths. It gives me a headache and I basically never understand which is which. It doesn't matter how many times someone explains it to me.

So, I just don't use Lilith.

I use all of the Liliths, but I don't really differentiate between them. All of them are prominently placed in my chart, so it's kind of difficult for me to tell their energy apart, if there even is a difference.

I do pay particular attention to the "Lilith corridor", the space between Mean Black Moon Lilith (the main one used on astro.com) and True Black Moon Lilith (osculating, h13 on astro.com), but I do also look at asteroid Lilith (1181). Waldemath/Dark Moon Lilith (h58 on astro.com) doesn't get as much attention from me, it just feels less valid, but if I'm looking at all the Liliths in some chart, then I'll put in Waldemath too.

I think you might be able to gauge the level of Lilith energy in your life by how active all the Liliths are. If none of them make any notable connections then there probably won't be a whole lot of Lilith in your life, if just one then a bit more but probably not dominant, if all of them then a definite Lilith pattern in many areas of life... Idk, that's kind of how I approach it.

The best explanation I've ever heard is from page 7 of this discussion:
http://schoolofevolutionaryastrology.com/forum/index.php/topic,309.90.html

Asteroid Lilith (Original Lilith) (4-5 year cycle) describes the original Lilith. We have all ‘imprinted’ in us the original, undistorted, female image, which is defined by the natal placement of an individual’s asteroid Lilith. Where we feel free to move, act and speak our truth. This correlates in the current life to what our underlying ideal image is of a woman. The true and NATURAL expression of Lilith is that of pure, raw, feminine beauty. A woman that would chose freedom over just about anything. She is Pluto and she is also Mars. She was honored and praised for initiating and fully expressing her personal freedom and sexual passion. “In her original state, she is a symbol of true feminine power – complete unto herself and embodying her own brand of feminine self-containment, assertion and wholeness” (O’Donnell). Lilith is the octave transformer for Mars and Pluto! It serves as a bridge between the lower octave of Mars and the higher octave of Pluto. (Kristin)

Dark Moon Lilith (119-177 day cycle) signifies how and where we experience the distorted aspects of Lilith in our lives – her anguish, bitterness, betrayal, alienation, fear and hatred of sexuality, and revenge. For centuries men and women have been conditioned by our patriarchal culture to suppress this feminine strength which has resulted in bitterness and resentment, inevitably leading to distortion and rage. How this distortion is played out is indicated by the natal placement of the Dark Moon Lilith. Dark Moon Lilith is the distorted Lilith representing Lilith’s flee into a fiery rage of exile where she plots and executes her revenge. Find your Dark Moon Lilith placement and know that this area ***also creates a channel by which we can release the rage.*** (Kristin)

Black Moon Lilith shows how and where we cut away our pretensions, false roles, and delusions and actualize who we essentially are. The Black Moon Lilith (9 year cycle) is the resolution Lilith where one’s distorted image may be transformed into a natural healthy expression. The dark Goddess’s crescent shape knife cuts away all that is not authentic in our lives. The ENFORCED (I REPEAT ENFORCED) clarity of the Black Moon allows us to penetrate to the essence, eliminating all things that are unnecessary, false and impure. Wherever you find the resolution Lilith in your chart, represents an area where it will take tremendous COURAGE, where you can release the repressed anger from lifetimes and be set free. It is also an area of TRANSFORMATION – creative energy of the feminine GODDESS pours into you. Lilith is the NATURAL WILD WOMAN in the birth chart so the Moon and the Nodes must be incorporated in the interpretation as well as Venus. Stressful aspects between Black Moon Lilith and Mars, the planet that most clearly expresses the masculine power, may indicate that a woman’s independence and confidence is threatened or met with opposition by men. Her own inner male is not strong. Women who have hard aspects from Black Moon Lilith to the Moon or in the 5th may have problems with pregnancy or childbirth, possible miscarriage, unwanted pregnancy, or a fear of motherhood. Often times transiting Black Moon Lilith can bring back feelings of emotional pain, but only if it is in the area where you have compromised your primal nature. Lilith forces us to look at ourselves with utter naked EMOTIONAL honesty.

In reality there are three black moons

The Medium Dark Moon

The corrected black moon

The true black moon (it is retrograde)

My articles on the Dark Moon :

Black moon

THE THREE BLACK MOONS

The interesting thing about the true black moon is that it moves very quickly and can become retrograde. So it hits a lot of points in a day, because sometimes it can travel 3 ° in a day at most. She is always traveling around the average in the same month, she can find herself either behind or in front of the average which is more in different signs than the average.
So it is as if the average is concentrated on a sensitive point of a house, while the real shows us by what means to solve daily suffering, the sensitive point of the average.
Here is a theory (among others probably to check for yourself therefore)

1- MEDIUM BLACK MOON
Because of suffering, it is never retrograde, it advances slowly. It can be the representation of our instincts and acts on the psychology of the person.

2- CORRECTED BLACK MOON
Effects on our lives. It is direct, stationary and it works behind all the planets, it retrograde

3- TRUE BLACK MOON
The nature of our reaction in a few days can go from 30 ° to 40 ° or downshift. It is the place of our sublimation and acts on the level of spirituality.

The average is lived perhaps unconsciously and the true by the daily events that it can trigger given its speed, could show us what to regulate as behaviors in daily reality, to sublimate the sensitive point designated by the average. it's just an idea
