Thank you, Aries!
Yes, self esteem is my biggest issue.
I was never part of any groups and had only one or two not very close friends at school. With my mother i don't have a very emotional bond.

I'm really enjoying this thread, some really interesting ideas.

When I think of Juno, I always remember to tie it in not just with the concept of marriage, but also that motherly/family vibe.

What underlines this for me more than anything was that when my son was born, transiting Juno was on my ascendant, illustrating that change of identity to mum/family.

Back on the topic, I have Juno in cancer. It's pretty much completely isolated, with none of my usual asteroids and objects getting even close to an aspect.

For me, if I marry, I would want to be with a guy who can look after me. I'm fiercely independent (here's looking at you NN conj mars and Jupiter in the 7th ha) but my deepest wish is to be comforted and looked after when I need it.

As I've got older, I'm now much less likely to settle for a situation where I can't get that - which I guess is a loyalty to my own wellbeing.

I have a friend with Juno in aries (widely conjunct my sun in taurus 4deg) whose loyalty is towards his self (he has a history of cheating). In the concept of Juno describing ideal partners, I would definitely say a martian type has a strong appeal for him.

Committed to building a solid reputation ,to being a fine upstanding example, committed to doing things the right way -even if its the long way.

Loyal to being an example for others, loyal to never-ending self actualization,to becoming the best person you can be, loyal to uphold ethical/professional conduct and to do what is dignified not only when people are watching. BUT more especially when they are not.

Capricorn is a sign of dignity & principles. It is the "authority".Not like Leo. But more like "the standard to beat". And so Caps affiliation with the 10th puts them under great internalized pressure to "succeed".

They are not only pushed to better themselves for themselves. But to uplift/change the social/financial status for those whom they come into contact with.

As when you are with a Cap(either in love or friendship),you become motivated to make your life a "success"(whatever definition this "success" means to you).

So Juno in Cap(my Mom has this position) can be loyal to all that & can(in extreme cases) endure a lot to preserve their reputation. They can be "good" men/women at all costs.

They can hold themselves to too high of standards(and this is the Saturn effect)that they have trouble giving themselves a break. And may self-punish because they believe they "deserve" it for falling short of meeting those standards.

When in the 12th house, there is a feeling of being painfully isolated from others. The inner thoughts are difficult to share and there is a definite possibility for dark moods,a self-undoing thinking pattern or even at worst clinical depression.

Cap in 12th is a challenge because the native often is depressed or feeling isolated from others. But finds it difficult to express what it is they feel. And so denial can happen -even as they sink deeper into static thought patterns(Sat). They are very slow to admit they need help (if even become conscious of it at all).

If employees get depressed, they seek help with the work counsellor. But what happens when the Boss is depressed? Who will the Boss turn to?

The above is metaphoric ofcourse. But what I mean here is that when Cap is on the cusp of the 12th, the Boss(Cap) is in denial that things are a amiss or who completely refuses to acknowledge that they too can fall apart (12th).

This especially when Can is on the cusp of the 6th-feelings are seem as annoying "obstacles". And they can think themselves smart enough to self diagnose (Virg 8th trine) and so they say to themselves "I am fine". This even as they are falling aprt internally. They ironically do not have the emotional sensitivity to see it.

The square to Jupiter/Uranus is likely in Libra in the 9th? This emphasizes social(Lib) akwardness or inability to connect with others easily because one has a mind that stretches very wide/deep(Jup) and is open to "zany" points of inspiration(Uran).

So there is a tendency for one to feel that they can "outsmart" the therapist. Or perhaps need someone who is very much on their mental "level"to catch their drift.

The added Chiron in Aries in 3rd definitely adds to this. Frustration of not meeting people who are on the same mental level. Everyone is so "stupid" or "basic".

The flip side of the coin is that the native could have been mentally abused or told they aren't smart (Chiron in 3rd)and this affected their ability to assert their thoughts/words.

So with 9th Jup/Ura in Lib,the social exclusion suffered could be because you are shy and timid in expression. Very self conscious about what you say. Even as your ideas are interesting and thought provoking, you dare not express them because others may not "approve"(Lib).

The Juno in Cap in 12th then would be the commitment to keep them hidden or far from being surfaced for all to see. This could be important in preserving your reputation or what people think of you(which is what you are "committed" to(Juno))

I wrote about Cancer being comfortable in the Juno position(and Taurus) earlier. And so naturally, the birth of your son would be something huge.

Juno is loyal to what they term "emotional security". It could be family, friends, community, children or heritage. It really depends on the Juno Cancer concerned. But this position is very loyal to its emotional well-being.

I will go much farther to say that with Juno in Cancer, you are loyal to creating your own sense of "home".And so I don't believe it will matter as much to you if another external to you is able to provide that.

It will be nice ofcourse to meet Cancer Moon, Mars or Sun. They are usually on the same wavelength. But you don't cease to continue to be loyal and true to your own feelings-just because they are around and offering the emotional security blanket.

So a person who doesn't respect that I.e whether they are around or not, you put your emotional well-being on the top of the list of priorities etc. will by default not be compatible to you by any measure.

Juno in Aries (I have that too). And its also in the 1st opposite Mars/Plu. So there is a quadruple emphasis lol.

I have been single for while & my relationships don't last long. And perhaps that's on purpose.

There is something fundamental I need to "remember" about relationships I think. My chart does point to relationships a lot. But they are difficult only when they are superficial.

It's not that I cheat/spontaneously follow carnal desires.No.I think in my case,it's about being honest and open.

And so with Mars/Plu in the 7th,there is pressure from the public to conform, to stay in line or to do what others want me to do.

But the more forceful they get, the more defiant I am. And the more resistant. This too in romantic relationships. Don't confine me, don't attach me to expectations and most of all, don't expect me to not speak my mind.

I have noticed the self esteem to be an issue for Aqua 2nd house. And with that the likelihood of not having stable emotional bonds.

Moon in Aqua adds to this in that many have an erraric/detched relationship with Mom/home
