Does anyone have any experience with/knowledge about this asteroid in the tenth house and/or in Taurus?

I've heard that it causes reputation problems, especially when it comes to rumors that are based on your sex life and i 100% relate to this.

I've keep being called "a wh*re" by everyone. For some reason society seems obsessed with my sexuality. Even my family members. My own mother used to make up rumors about me "seducing old men" and "f*cking them in their cars" when i was as young as 13...

And random people keep making up rumors about all of the guys I've reportedly slept with, where i "f*cked them" and so on. The craziest thing about this is that i am LITERALLY A VIRGIN.

My stepfather was obsessed with my sex life (or the lack thereof) growing up too. I wasn't even allowed to wear nail polish because he kept saying that it made me "look like a sl*t", he never allowed me to date or even go out (which is the reason why i was socially isolated in the literal sense of it growing up, i didn't have any friends and couldn't meet any because i wasn't allowed to) and kept saying that had he not been that strict with me i would've been pregnant by now. I remember wanting to hang out with my friends once and he was following me.

I didn't know that he was stalking me and made a fuss out of a friend's boyfriend coming with us to the coffee shop that we were at because he thought i was seeing him. I was 13 at the time and needless to say i never wanted to hang out with anyone ever again because i knew that he would either follow me again (he and my mom also read ALL of my text messages and social media direct messages growing up, they literally hacked into my iCloud, Facebook and Instagram account without telling me in order to see whether i was messaging boys) or make a fuss about me being out. Every single time he found out that i wanted to go to the mall or whatever he'd be really mad. So i literally went out only 7-8 times throughout all of my teenage years. I sneaked out around 5 more times too. I never managed to have a social life because of them.

It's honestly really heart-breaking because I've been harassed sexually again and again for years which obviously led to a lot of trauma surrounding sex and being sexual and people's negative views on my sexuality have further traumatized me. At this point I don't even think that I'll ever be able to be intimate with anyone. Everyone demonizes my sexuality and i haven't even had sex. It's crazy. I'm still in my late teens so this can obviously change in the future but i'm not very hopeful.

The dirty way in which my mother kept describing my (made up) sex life hurt me. Not the nastiness of the false made up stories itself but the way that she talked about me potentially being sexually active as if it would make me the worst and most disgusting person in the world.

And she is such a hypocrite because she's had affairs with married men, according to other family members she has had more than 4 abortions before getting pregnant with me (did she not know what condoms are?!) and i also know for a fact that she used her sexuality in order to ruin my dad's relationship with a girl he was dating at the time in order to start a relationship with him and got pregnant with me quickly afterwards. It's the only reason why he married her. They never even got along, i remember them screaming at each other EVERY SINGLE NIGHT when i was a kid (he died when i was 6 years old).

Your home environment sounds like a nightmare! But since you're a minor (17y) you're still kind of "stuck" to have to live under 'parent's rule' until you CAN move out of their home at your next birthday in February.

Your Chiron is in Capricorn-- meaning you'll be dealing with challenges around 'authority' from time to time, in your life.

The 10th House is very "public". You have your MOON Taurus there too in your Aries 10th (and career) house.

Speaking of "grungy" guys and music, it's such a coincidence that you're asking - i actually started playing the guitar recently and i do happen to have some musical talent too. I can sing pretty well and not in a stereotypical talented female vocalist type of way, my voice is very raspy naturally so it sounds quite unique and "grungy" when i sing. Think about the difference between Mariah Carey and Courtney Love's voice. My voice sounds more similar to Courtney's because it's really raw and raspy although my tone is still cleaner and hers is more punk.

My BML is in Taurus but i don't know how to tell whether it's close to my moon or not. I am really new to astrology, i apologize!

And yeah, my stepfather comes from a more conservative country and i get that a lot of his protectiveness comes from his culture but his behavior is way too controlling and inappropriate regardless. It doesn't matter whether he thinks that he's "protecting" me by behaving like this or not. I honestly can't wait to turn 18 and move out.

Yeah.. Men from some cultural backgrounds can really take looking after the needs and safety of a 'daughter' very very seriously.

What you mentioned happened in your younger teens, with him going into your media accounts to see what you were into, is VERY "protective" behavior.

There were shows on TV where parents were being warned of dangers to their teens. There were reports of concerns of the ways, methods, teens were falling victim to creepy-predators they'd innocently meet online, then afterwards had trapped them in some way {psychologically}. These were endangering the teen after winning their trust.

And of course, it's VERY reasonable that a teen would want their privacy.. very understandable!! It's part of your development and needs--- but these are dangerous times. We still are all relatively new to internet and their capabilities. -- It was the law enforcement and community leaders who were insisting that the parents NEED to know. Going through the phone to keep you safe, was strongly suggested.

The predators were even scaring the teen NOT to tell family anything, or something bad would happen.

Some teens fall prey to 'bullies' online, from set of friends. There have been teens who were so taunted, they tried to commit suicide, or, self-harm.

Your parents don't want that to happen to you.

I'm sure that they realize that you are getting older now, and are anxious to leave. It may be that they are monitoring you, helping you with some of the last lessons they can assist you with, before you're out and they are LESS able to protect.

It's very healthy, very very healthy that you are chaffing to be on your own.

During this time...
Why don't you start to think about things 'for real'?
Like, how much money do things cost?
How much money will you need for food, your rent, transportation?

See what I'm saying?

You can 'practice' "in your mind" of being on your own. Getting ready. And, you'll still have the security of BEING at home. You're just counting the COSTS of things. Figuring out how you will "pay" for it?

Will you be going to college, or some kind of "higher education"?

Getting Educated is INCREDIBLY Valuable.

So.

You didn't say if you've decided 'what' you think you want to do? Considering any career direction yet, or a job path for a while?

I am sorry for replying so late.
Yes, i like watching voice talent shows when i'm not busy. And yeah, i play the guitar and sing . I am looking forward to starting to learn how to play the bass and the drums too next year when i move out.

I'd say that alternative rock is my favorite music genre. It's also the genre that suits my voice the best. I just like heavy guitar music, regardless whether it's punk/metal/grunge and etc.

I've been writing some songs on my guitar but i am still very much a beginner and i only use repetitive power chords so it's nothing to brag about. I also have exams this month so i have been too busy studying and so i understandably stopped paying attention to the guitar and music overall these past couple of months. I only have 3 weeks of exams left and I'll be free to really focus on it again after the exams.

For now i can only play some Nirvana and Hole songs on my guitar because they're quite easy to learn (for ex. Come As You Are, Heart-Shaped Box, Doll Parts) and i definitely need to learn how to play the guitar better in order to be able to play more songs. But i really love singing Alice in Chains songs because i love Layne Staley's singing style.

I still can't "belt out" a.k.a. scream out the highest parts in AIC's songs because i am still working on my belting technique and if you don't do it properly you can really damage your voice. But i really enjoy singing along with Layne and it's actually surprisingly easy for me. I feel like out of all rock vocalists my voice is the most similar to his which is strange because he's a guy but he had a really soft talking voice (a.k.a. more feminine voice for a man) and i have a really raspy one (a.k.a. slightly masculine for a woman) so it kind makes sense.

I've definitely been looking into rent prices and so on. I'm also going to get a part-time job. As of what i want to do for a career - i honestly don't know. I like economics, philosophy, art, computer programming and overall i have way too many interests. And working in the arts unfortunately seems way too far-fetched. I have 2 more years to decide though because in my country students graduate at 19 years old, not 18.

Alternative rock came out of the era when I was a late teen.

I like the sounds of Alice in Chains. I've posted songs from them here at LL before. They usually have a powerful message.

You are WISE to protect your voice, and to seek out methods on how to belt high notes properly, without hurting vocal cords, causing nodes to grow. When you learn proper techniques, there are a LOT more things you'll be able to do.

If you've never heard of TV music competition show called "Rockstar Supernova" , you can view past episodes of that on YouTube

Yes you have had trauma, with a wake of effects from it!! My God. *hug*

Do you know that ALL that pain you have had, can become a force and edge of 'passion' in you, as you get into your talent?

So, "Moon Taurus trine Chiron" could be of help to you, as you use the public stage {H10}, standing in that spotlight with an ability to connect to audiences using your feelings, and maybe even being more aware of theirs -- having yourself experienced in a one-on-one felt way.
