Adam's mother bought the guns so she would feel safe if times ever got tough. Suzanne Collins lives in that town (Sandy Hook) in hunger games the kids are sacrificed for the twelve districts. The the number 12 stands for sacrifice- the victim. Like a mind control or a demon entering Adam's body temple. So sad for those children. In ancient days children were sacrificed to Molech.
