This is gonna be the most heart wrenching topic of all.
You have only three choices to make-I cried and cried my heart out or Run around screaming or stay paralysed completely frozen in your tracks.
DO IT! you will feel much better.

This is two part and can be quite a bit long.

A-TRIANGULATION

Triangulation is a method of defining the unknown by measuring parts of a triangle.

Take a common fishing question such as “what do I target and where?” In Colorado there are many species of fish and a lot of different factors can control fishing success. Through the power of triangulation you can whittle down numerous opportunities to help identify the best species and location increasing your chances to catch fish.

If you wish to make the adventure more challenging, this triangulation method is reversed to provide the most difficult opportunities.

Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb.....

The imagery and names used in this poem point to its having been constructed as a Christian homily for children. Mary,of course, is the name of Christ’s mother and one of the most commonly used images for Jesus is that of the Lamb of God, the fleece as white as snow a symbol of his goodness and purity.

The poem can be read as a parable of Christ’s enduring love for mankind (Why does the lamb love Mary so?), that he is with Christians everywhere (And everywhere that Mary went, / The lamb was sure to go) and that the true Christian should love God and ignore other people’s mockery.

In the style of these homilies, the teacher would have used Mary’s story explicitly to draw this improving moral, spelt out in the final verse.

Let us take one step back to part -II , on to the verse
where i explained about turning your other cheek...
There is another side to it, which is to discern when it has to be used appropriately and to stay on guard by passively resisting the enemy when the time calls for.Your heart knows best when you are treading on the enemy zone and to react accordingly.

The rhyme proved so popular that many found it hard to believe that it wasn’t based on a true incident; When in 1913 the New York Times ran an interview with Richard K. Powers of Lancaster, Massachusetts, who was celebrating his one hundred and eighth birthday, he talked about ‘Mary had a Little Lamb’ and commented: ‘Mary was my cousin, her full name was Mary Elizabeth Sawyer.’ Very conveniently, Mary Sawyer had written a complete account, at the age of eighty-eight.

Whatever her reasons were,She could have used it for Her own convenience - which goes like this

Mary had a little lamb,
It really was a glutton;
It quickly grew into a sheep
And ended up as mutton.

Or this one:

Mary had a little lamb,
But then she had a hunch
When Dad came home with mint sauce,
They were having lamb for lunch.

Put your brains into this-

Buddha said: "Do not overlook negative actions merely because they are small; however small a spark may be, it can burn down a haystack as big as a mountain." Similarly he said: "Do not overlook tiny good actions, thinking they are of no benefit; even tiny drops of water in the end will fill a huge vessel." Karma does not decay like external things, or ever become inoperative. It cannot be destroyed "by time, fire, or water." Its power will never disappear, until it is ripened"

That simply means, Buddha identified karma as a volitional activity. That is, each volition in the mind is like a seed with tremendous potential. In the same way that the smallest acorn contains the potential of a great oak tree, so too each of our willed actions contains the seed of karmic results. The particular result depends on the qualities of mind associated with each volition. Greed, hatred, and delusion are unwholesome qualities that produce fruits of suffering; generosity, love, and wisdom are wholesome factors that bear fruits of happiness.

I was about to post this and suddenly my connection goes off..And when i summoned the spirit of jesus.
Thankfully it is back.I can feel its dark presence.

Now go back to the nursery rhyme,
Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb.....

For Christians-Born again-gentiles

Holy spirit of fire ,female enery+God of eternity, male enegy= Christ spirit of water

Mary is the fire of the holy spirit of truth, it rises above from your heart, to meet Lord God Almighty whose consummation is christ energy.

For All Others-

Serpentine enegy of fire + Father energy of time = water energy of kundalini spirit

Their attributes will be discerned later.

I'll take some time off, in the mean time you folks can go through one of the historic epic story of the rhyme..

Here’s marys story, in her own words – I’ve done a little pruning to keep her to the point because, as you’ll see, she’s not one for saying things briefly:

‘One cold, bleak March morning, I went out with father to the barn and found a lamb that had been born in the night. It had been forsaken by its mother and through neglect was about dead from the cold and for want of food. I saw it had a little life and wanted to take it into the house, but father said no as it was about dead anyway and could only live for a short time. But I could not bear to see the poor little thing suffer so, and I teased until I got it into the house and then worked on mother’s sympathy.

At first it could not swallow, and the catnip tea I had mother make, it could not take for a long time. I got the lamb warm first thing, which was done by wrapping her in an old garment and holding her in my arms beside the fireplace. All night long I nursed the lamb and at night it could swallow just a little.

In the morning, much to my girlish delight, it could stand and then improved rapidly. It soon learned to drink milk, and from the time it could walk about it would follow me anywhere if I called it. It was a fast grower, as symmetrical a sheep who ever walked and its fleece was of the finest and whitest. Why, I used to take as much care of it as a mother would of a child. I used to wash it regularly, keep the burdocks out of its feet and comb and trim with bright coloured ribbons the wool on its forehead. And when that was being done, the lamb would hold down its head, shut its eyes and wait as patiently as could be.

Then my brother Nate said: ‘Let’s take the lamb to school with us.’ When the schoolhouse was reached, the teacher had not arrived but a few scholars were there. I took her down to my seat – you know we had the old-fashioned, high-boarded seats back then. Well, I put the lamb under the seat on a blanket and she lay down just as quietly as could be.

By and by, I had to get up to recite and left the lamb all right, but in a minute there was a clatter, clatter on the floor and I knew it was the pattering of the hooves of my lamb. Oh, how mortified I felt. The teacher laughed outright and of course all the children giggled. It was rare sport for them but I couldn’t find anything mirthful in the situation. I was too embarrassed and ashamed to even laugh or smile. I took the lamb out and put it in the shed until I was ready to go home at noon, when it followed me back.

Visiting the school that forenoon was a young man called John Roulstone. He was very pleased at the school incident and the next day he rode across the fields on horseback, came to the little old schoolhouse and handed me a slip of paper which had written on it three verses, which are the original lines, but since then there have been other verses added by a Mrs Townsend.’

Personally, I have a few doubts. In the first place, if the lamb was so special to Mary, why didn’t it have a name? And if it did have a name, why didn’t she use it, or how had she forgotten it and yet remembered so many other small details so many years afterwards? Also, the rhyme was not published until 1830, fourteen years later. Would you still remember something a passing nine-year-old had written about your pet all those years ago?

While there may be some dispute about whether Roulstone wrote any part of the poem, or whether Sarah Hale composed the whole thing, Massachusetts has nonetheless claimed the rhyme (and the consequent increase in their tourist industry), and both Mary Sawyer’s house in Sterling (until it burned down in 2007) and the small Redstone School have been preserved as a memorial. Today, in Sterling town centre, there stands a statue of a lamb in tribute to John Roulstone and displaying the first verse of the poem. Incidentally, Mary Sawyer’s little lamb, a ewe, apparently lived to be four years old and had three of her own baby lambs.

Sigh....I was having those De-ja-vu moments..
When will earthlings wake up enough to percieve the reality around them?/
Instead, They are all lining up for tickets to fly!
Who knows, they might be given a new pair of wings.
Left with, broken wings and shattered dreams.

Enjoy Your Portion in This Life …
I again saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift and the battle is not to the warriors, and neither is bread to the wise nor wealth to the discerning nor favor to men of ability; for time and chance overtake them all.

man does not know his time: like fish caught in a treacherous net and birds trapped in a snare, so the sons of men are ensnared at an evil time when

suddenly falls on them.

Rajji,

I just want to let you know that I read your posts.

But a lot of the time I am not sure what I can contribute. You seem to have a great knowledge on everything that you speak of.
And sometimes I don't fully understand the complexity of what you say.

Rest assured though, I do admire your passionate way with words.

I have suspended belief in karma.

It is commonsense that actions have reactions.

Does karma have intention? I don't think so.

As for god, I do not really have a perception of god as a separate entity.

I believe in human beings - self-actualisation.

If only most of us could reach our fullest potential, that would be more "godly" than anything I have witnessed so far.

Of course, there are many interpretations of what "god" and "karma" are.

I am interested in your truth.

Some quotes to liven ME UP!

Chastity is the virtue that brings the sexual appetite into harmony with reason. —Donald DeMarco
Abstinence from sins is better than seeking help afterwards.

A rich man cannot enjoy a sound mind nor a sound body without exercise and abstinence; and yet these are truly the worst ingredients of poverty.

Surrender to sensuality paralyzes the powers of the moral person. —Josef Pieper

No man is free who is a slave to the flesh. —Seneca

Abstinence is a promise you make to yourself. It's important to me to stay true to myself and what I stand for. —Dwayne

My real friends will accept and understand my decisions and values. No questions asked. —Jared

There is no second-guessing a virgin's motives: her strength comes from a source beyond her transitory whims. It is sexuality dedicated to hope, to the future, to marital love, to children, and to God. Her virginity is, at the same time, a statement of her mature independence from men. It allows a woman to become a whole person in her own right, without needing a man either to revolt against or to complete what she lacks. It is very simple, really: no matter how wonderful, charming, handsome, intelligent, thoughtful, rich, or persuasive he is, he simply cannot have her. A virgin is perfectly unpossessable. —Sarah Hinlicky

Well, virginity can be taken by force.
So it is not always a measure of the woman in any sense.

However, willpower, the delaying of gratification, and independence are admirable in a world that encourages: more, bigger, quicker, NOW.

We would do well to remember that with time and patience comes wisdom.

If we mindlessly consume at 100 miles per hour - how can we ever appreciate anything?

We don't really taste anything - we simply swallow it whole and grab the next thing.
