Hee hee, and fajitas too?
Everytime I go to a Mexican restaurant, I see my name and I giggle!

Don't worry, everyone is their own worst critic, I am sure you ankles look fine! Besides, no one really checks out ankles you know!

Apple vinegar is good for the metabolism/digestion. I think. That's why it's especially recommended to those with weight problems. That I know for sure. But in any way it's very healthy and I'm sure it has numerous other great uses.

It's best if you drink it first thing in the morning, dilluted with water, of course. But drinking lemon juice in the same way is also very good. I think either way the effects are similar for the metabolism.

Hello girls and boy

QueenofSheba...I thought you were a girl on some other posts but happy you are a boy...and I think freckles are qute so leave 'em...you wouldn't be you without them! I had freckles on my nose and a few on my cheeks one summer I decided to worship the Sun all day every day and came back looking soooooo different My hair was naturally lightened as well...I looked like I was someone else for a couple of weeks then freckles disappeared and all went back to normal!

Oxychic, I know what you mean and I often think when I am ready to quit it won't be so hard, but I will do it only when I am ready.
I will be trying your scrub this weekend see how I do and will let you know...

the Fajita, I had weak ankles when I was little but they are fine now....hmmmmmmm wondering are you and Oxychic Aquarian Sun or rising...I am an Aquarius Rising and weakness to the ankles is an Aquarian thingy. Curious!

Financechick, thank you for making me smile...I was raised with avocado so its, how should I say....ummm a part of my very being ... just gets confusing cause I also read somewhere that avocado is not good. Anyway I got my test results in and cholesterol has lowered significantly so I will be eating my beloved avocado SOON!

Hi Morgana and Aphrodite and oh hope I haven't forgotten anyone else on this thread...thank you for all your beauty tips

Oh yes Financechick thanks for reminding me about the gloves and cream...so now I'll do the feet, socks and cream as well (obviously on the nights I sleep alone...can you imagine how sexy I would look with cream and gloves on my hands and socks and cream on my footsies climbing into bed with him....ooooh lala

Goodnight beauties and handsome

well..avocado is really high in fat but it's the good kind of fat...I wouldn't go eating guacamole every day or eating slices of avocado in my salads or on my sandwiches every day....but I wouldn't eliminate it from my diet either...it's very high in the monunsaturated fat and I think vitamin E and potasium.

Fajita,

I bought the aloe vera and put it on last night, but it really "pulled my face together", if you know what I mean. It's quite astringent. Maybe my skin needs something moister or more nourishing in the winter. I'll keep trying it out some more, but maybe it's best if I use it in the spring and summer when the air is more humid and we perspire more? What do you, or anyone else for that matter, think?

Hey Morgana,

I use it in all seasons, but I do use an eye cream in the winter too. I guess maybe it's not good for you in the winter I'M SO SORRY! I wasn't trying to dry out your skin.

OK I am glad to hear all that about the apple cider vinegar.

Yes we are both me and oxy- hence the ankle problemos

Fajita, it's quite the opposite, you helped me very much and I want to thank you!!

I want to tell you that I used it last night too and I thin I'm getting used to it, it seems to me (or is it only my imagination?) that my skin is smoother. Is that from aloe? Maybe I'll stick with it anyway and use a rich cream only once in a while.

I see you use an eye cream too. Does it work for wrinkles?

Taking a brisk walk in fresh air, by the sea or in the woods, is good for circulation, your lungs, your digestion, your mood and thus for your skin. I love walking in the rain or fog as well; my skin feels fresh, soft and smooth afterwards.

After being out in the sun, without enough protection, I pat natural youghurt (not the kind with fruit) on the face, shoulders and chest and lets it dry before I rinse off and repeat once more. Then I use aloe vera before i go to bed. Works wonders for skin that has had too much sun.

I use all Mary Kay skin care products and cosmetics. I have used it for years, and just recently began selling it. I have very dry skin and hair, so I pile on the moisturizers...I love floral scents, especially in lotions.

I like powders too...like Shower to Shower. I love taking a shower with Milk Made shower gel by Avon. And the body lotion is heaven in a bottle.

I do color my hair, so I use shampoos geared towards color treated hair. I use John Freida products as far as smoothing gels and such.

And currently my favorite winter perfumes are Elige by Mary Kay and Fifth Avenue by Elizabeth Arden. In the summertime I like to wear Green Tea or Sunflowers, both by Elizabeth Arden. And from time to time I will wear White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor

I'm all into smelling good

Hi, girls!

Haven't been here for so long...

Oxy, great! I adore apple cider vinegar, and it's so healty too.

Does any of you know the best way to get rid of (or prevent) wrinkles around your eyes (except to stop smiling, but that's NOT an option, haha )? Or are you all still too young for that? I know our sweet miss Fajita is

Um actually I am not too young - I have that problem! I smile like crazy and have noticed these little lines on the tops of my cheeks and under my eyes and need I say I am not pleased!! I always age gives a woman character but I wanted some sexiness before I got lines LOL

I do know that helps to not remove eye makeup by tugging on the skin around the eyes. And I stand by the aloe every night

I did try Estee Lauder night cream before but then everyone at my job asked me why my eyes were so puffy, I guess it added too much moisture

But please tell if you guys know

Hey, Fajita!

I'm using some cream (from L'Oreal) that contains retinol (the stuff that is also in vitamin A) and it seems it helps (it fills out the wrinkles from inside and this way it prevents them getting deeper), but now I've been noticing that my skin around the eyes maybe isn't getting enough moisture or something, I'm not exactly sure what it is. Maybe I'll try your Estee Lauder cream
I really don't know what else to do except try out different creams.
Does anyone know of any other "remedies"?

Here's one-what about red cheeks? I don;t just mean rosy, healthy glow cheecks, I'm talking all-out red. I get very red, very, very easily. Concealer doesn't work as the red shows right through. My friends all tease me about it (in a fun, friendly way). I do have a facial mask, the Azulene Calming Mask from Mario Bdescu that works for the day i use it, so I usually try to use it before a big night on the town.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I come out so red in a lot of pictures, it's weird.

Hi,
I am using M.D. Forte eye cream with power of Retinol and Vitamins A & E which has brought significant difference around my eyes.
But I am more worried about my stretch marks around my tummy. If any one have any suggestion, I would appreciate.

When taking a shower, remember to turn the water on.
