This topic is for those who want to share their experiences and results of practicing the five (or six) tibetans rites. Your comments will help many persons, since they need to know about the effectiveness those exercises have. Thank you all.Bases Loaded IP: Logged |

I cannot tell you for sure unless I know the rites to which you refer. I am however willing to listen before I decide. I think that is very fair. How is one enabled to make a choice otherwise. I Thank you. Gia IP: Logged |

Bases loaded: This looks great I am going to try them. Also, i read your post about good health and what stuck out in my mind was the part about digestion and chewing food long enough for the process to begin properly. Well I have tried this and I must say I have noticed a beneficial change immediately. I am prone to digestive issues and I realize that I am a fast eater and this may be contributing to my problems. Thank you for your help. I do dring lots of water but will always remember to drink more.IP: Logged |

You know I bought this book years ago, under its original title "Ancient Secrets of The Fountain of Youth. " I'm going to go home and dig it out from where ever it is!Do you practice them, Bases? And do you feel they benefit you? IP: Logged |

Yes, Trillian, I enjoy the benefits of the exercises, although I am young (33 y.o.). But the effects have been seen by me in other friends. The sixth rite is optional, and I don´t practice it at all But its benefits should be important, ´cause the sexual energy (1st chakra)is very strong; so if we directed that energy to the other chakras, they would become more harmonized due to the power received that way. Well bases, I got that book out, dusted it off, and started doing the exercises again. Not number six. Sex is so natural and important to us and our bodies, I'm not fond of anything that would tell you to abstain. You may gain something, but you lose an important something else. IP: Logged |

Great!! Trillian and Thirteen. The best help to start is the first step. Keep us updated about your respective progress, and encourage the other knowflakes to practise the exercises too.Bases Loaded

Hi, I´m back after an angry hurricane, but nothing bad for me and my family, thank God. Just some troubles with the electric energy supply and water. If any knowflake "saw" Charley and would like to share experience. And about our topic, how are the tibetan exercises working. Please share the experiences with the knowflakes; that would be a gift for them, a way to encourage them to start their own practise. Thirteen already did. Bases Loaded IP: Logged |

bases, so glad to hear you weathered the hurricane well. Welcome back!I just dug out the book, dusted it off, and restarted doing the exercises a few weeks ago. I'm on 9 repetitions per day, working up to the recommended 21 per day (by adding two more each week, as the book instructs). Or can I move a little faster? I haven't noticed a big difference so far, but I will keep you posted. IP: Logged |

Hi, Trillian. The secuence you mention is for those who need to get adapted, as an aim, to check the progress, but if you feel you can go faster, much better. The first exercise, being completly different, when you feel a light sickness, is a good reference. The fourth rite seems to be the most difficult, so if you cannot do the the same number of repetitions with each exercise, no problem; if you can do only one rite, but not the others for the time being (I know you can), no problem.Bases Loaded IP: Logged |

Good Morning Bases Loaded. I think I could easily jump to the 21 repetitions per exercise. Think it's ok for me to do that? I can do them all fairly well. On the 5th, if doing 21, I might need to take a brief breather. Thanks Bases. Oh! Last night I was reading an old string on which you had an exchange with TheFajita, about Limes and Cayenne. You know, Lime juice is one of the best alkaline substances you can consume--it helps to balance the body. Craving it implies that your body wants its pH to be balanced. And cayenne--I too consume it nearly every day. I try for as much of the 150,000 heat units of cayenne powder a day I can handle. It's not an addiction, but it blasts plaque from your arteries and keeps your blood flowing smoothly. It's right up there with raw garlic as a miracle food. I wish the Fajita were around so I could talk to her about it a little bit. So long as she was using natural sea salt, she was probably not doing any harm to her body. The lime and cayenne are just so darn good for us. IP: Logged |

Hello Bases. Im still doing the exercises. I do approx 10 of each per day. I feel my waistline is getting smaller. I have become quite regular ( bowel movements) and this has been a problem for me in the past. My husb did them a few times and keeps telling me how much energy he has that day. I am going to continue to do them. I notice too that afterwards Im relaxed and my body tensions dissappear.IP: Logged |

Hi, Trillian and Thirteen (it looks as if no one else is taking part in this topic). Thanks for sharing. Good statement on cayenne, Trillian.21 repetitions of each rite is ok and safe. The book states that over 21 is useless for our purpose; in some far east religions, the members do the rotations tens at a time instead of only 21. The result is an experience they consider as mistic. Bases Loaded IP: Logged |

Well, I've been doing it at three per rite for four days. Now this is nothing yet I do feel it. It's only fifteen moves, but each day is getting harder, as I'm also understanding how to move more - tensing your muscles etc. Im' usually completely against exercise - noe reason of which I broke me left wrist twice, and hence can't do some exercises such as pushups, dumb bells, even the pec press. But these are pretty good. My left wrist hurt a bit occasionally during the fifth rite, but I think it might get better Anyhow, they feel great. I'm almost scared of increasing to 5, but it will be worth it. I always said exercise was against my religion, but now if I say I'm tibetan, then its not! Trillian, you rock!
