I think they make a sensitive skin one now. But I agree, it is strong and not for everyone.IP: Logged |

Yeah.. it's got camphor and menthol etc etc.... It does make sense though, doesn't it? NoXema!!!------------------ ------------------------ **** Yes, it is me, I put chocolate and peanut butter in the password slot, and even after I licked it off, alas, it wouldn't work anymore. So now I am new. Even though I have been here for tooooo long ( for some ) Happy to be back! IP: Logged |

Noxema In 1914, a skin cream was invented by Baltimore pharmacist George Bunting. The name of the skin cream "Dr. Bunting's Sunburn Remedy" was changed to Noxema after a customer swore that the cream had "knocked out his eczema." IP: Logged |

my mom has used this stuff for years and swears by it. I remember her calling me in from a day of playing outside running around in bathing suits to smother me with that stuff. I too love it. I passed this on to my sister. my niece has eczema on her chin which was caused by her sucking her thumb (still at almost 9yrs) and the only thing that seems to keep it away was cortisone (sp?) but after it was not visible they would stop the cream and it would reappear 9the fact that she still continues to suck her thumbs does not help it any either) so she thought she would give this a try and wanted me to thank you Fayte for posting this! So thakns from my sis! and me, as i want to see Abby's (my niece)pretty lil face all cleared up. ang- IP: Logged |
