one question at a time please! Like what stone would be best for giving up ciggarettes... stuff like that. actually the answer to the above is Kunzite and/or Amethyst. Id reccomend Kunzite for quitters who find it hard to control stress or anger issues when quitting as its a Lithium bearer and has a calming effect. Fiddling with it instead of smoking or making an elixir with it ( place stone in water and charge in sunlight for an hour) and sip it while fiddling with the stones instead of smoking as this will also break the soemthing to do with hands and mouth issue of long term puffers. When i finally decide to quit im using this method! Pix IP: Logged |

fire agate! either make an elixir and drink it (take the stone out! No Choking lol!), or hold it in your hands and visualise its warmth opening your veins a little making the blood flow easier. Hope this helps! ( remember to charge and cleanse crystals and to choose the one that feels right for the task in hand... if all the fire agate feels wrong to you intuitively select a substitute with the question or issue in mind. ) Pixie IP: Logged |

I've read that the rose quartz is good for the heart chakra (and helps in the love matter), but I always feel uncomfortable or "exposed" when wearing it. Is it because the rose quartz opens the heart chakra?IP: Logged |

Planet Soul... Chrysoprase is a great mood balancer as are the Lithium bearers such as Lepidolite and Kunzite. My ex hubby is bipolar and took to all of these stones. Bohemianjazz Feeling over exposed with Rose quartz? mmm rose quartz is a gentle releaser and healer, so it might just be a case of finding a different heart chakra stone and seeing if that makes you feel "over exposed" if the heart chakra has been blocked for a period of time then this might cause it as the emotions are flowing freer than ususal.. hence feeling exposed and uncomfy. Or your rose quartz might be in need of cleansing. Amethyst is a great balancer for rose quartz in combination healing. artloves dawn... I would recommend Jade for blood sugar balance, and tigers eye and moonstone to break bad eating habits and keep motivated excercise wise. ( moonstone is great for changing bad habits cos of its cylical lunar ruler, state during a Dark / New moon your intentions over the moonstone selected, Gold tigers eye ( there are about 4 diff colours available) is associated with the solar plexus and therefore with will and aids accomplishing goals, giving the personal inner strength to keep going. Handle them when you get the temptation to slack off or eat naughty food to excess. Repeat an affirmation with them the first few times as a way of reeinforcing the stones programming.. such as " I am healthy, i exercise regularly, my body is solid, fit and strong, I have the will to acheive my goals." Note the use of the present tense.. thats the important bit, and keep em with you when working out.
Oh and another thing... self denial of stuff never works as well as enforced moderation. Like when I quit drinking heavily, for the first 2 months i allowed myself 2 units of alcohol a week, usually on friday after work. now i rarely get drunk and often go 6 months without alcohol. But can enjoy 1 quality real ale without wanting 10. So i won that battle lol. Basically principle goes if you get none of the stuff your shadow wants it starts acting up and trying to throw you off, so its better to feed it one beer and not an entire bottle of Chartreuse. ( or chocolate, or pizza or whatever it is the little bugger is hankerin for. ) Pixel Pixie its force of habit and most of my online mates call me Pix as i tend to always have the word Pixie in my ID's.. ill have to sign off Aqua Pix in future to avoid confusing you, me and god knows who else hahahaha! Aqua Pix Im enjoying this game. Just keep em coming. IP: Logged |

rose quartz is good for skin conditions.. especially when placed in the bath ( do it in a small amount of cold water and leave it for 20 minutes to charge before removing and adding hot water. hot water can damage crystals.)Also Aquamarine aids with skin issues.IP: Logged |

Malachite is a hard working stone that cleanses the aura, increases psychic protection, facilitates change, improves eyesight, asthma, arthritis, reduces swellings, stimulates all the body to detox, strengthens immune system. It has a plutonian scorpionic vibe.. all the scorps i know love it! if in a high stress environment cleanse the malachite every three days or so. never make gem elixirs (for ingesting) with malachite as it is a toxic stone... keep away from small kids and keep it out of your mouth. Always wash your hands after dealing with rough malachite as a precaution. (polished malachite wont leave dust or anythin toxic on yer hands...) Hope this helps... keep em coming.. every time you bathe pretty much... or make a huuge bottle of elixir and use it in the final rinse every time you wash your hair... cold final rinse increases shine anyways. Pixie IP: Logged |

Yes, what's this about elixirs? It's intriguing. You drink the water? Why do my bloodstones disappear? I adore them but they don't seem to like me. And yet I couldn't get rid of this little rose qaurtz thing if I threw it in a volcano. Is someone trying to tell me something? How long have you worked with stones? How did you learn? How about just funky? I sort of like that. IP: Logged |

An elixir is a "potion" of water that has been charged with crystal energies, place the stone in the water charge for an hour in sunlight. Elixirs can be used to drink, rinse hair ect. (I have been known to stick jade in tea when stressed) As for ways of using rocks. i sometimes place them over chakras, this is fine for meditation, but some are best used as companion stones, especially if they are to be used repeatedly for a specific purpose, like a health kick, and just kept in the pocket/ pouch whatever, and when choosing stones for your task keep this intent in the forefront of your mind, focus and then choose the first one or 2 that call you. For those who havent got how to "feeel" the crystalline energies, think chi balls!
To create a basic "chi ball" and to get the feel of our innate energies, bring your hands together as if holding a softball sized ball, tips of fingers spread and about an inch away from each other start "Squishing" moving your hands till there is a squishy warm feeling. Then do similar with a crystal and see what impressions you get about the energies of the stone. Once you are confident with the different techniques (rough stones are easiest to start off with, the energy is less subtle than tumbled stones) you can intuitively decide how each crystal wishes to be used.
To find the chakra(s) related to a stone without looking it up, just draw the stone up along your centre line from root to crown, and the energies will feel strongest at the associated points. Gazing, handling, placing on chakra points, elixir making, just sticking it in yer pocketses (your precious, geddit?) are all equally effective ways to use crystals. at the end of the day once you familiarise yourself with different crystals and are able to feel the energies its a very intuitive art... sometimes researching a crystal you find drawn to can help you understand your current state or needs. Each crystal's energies are unique, they find us and are my favourite teachers. anythin else anyone wants me to clarify, go ahead! Aqua Pix IP: Logged |

Hi Aqua Pix I'm wondering... is there a crystal I can use to bring me through surgery safely? ... or perhaps something to protect my ovary and or uterus from cancer? IP: Logged |
