Yes, I can recommend some teas. An easy kind to start with, would be in the family of green and white teas. These are delicately flavored, and are prepared by simmering water and pouring over the loose tea leaves or bag, and steeping no more than 2-3 minutes. A cup or two first thing in the morning, stimulates digestion, and encourages elimination. If you like red tea, a popular after dinner type, known as Pu-Erh actually discourages phlegm, and eliminates parasites, as well as aiding the digestion of a heavy, rich meal. I always get mine directly from an Asian market, as they are cheaper and there is such a wide variety. Hope this helps IP: Logged |

Check this site out http://www.yogitea.com/ I used to order from them and the product is great. Also, they enclosed a meditation card with a box of tea which was very nice. In fact, thank you for bringing it up I think I need to get back in "yogitea" habit. The good brand that you can buy at the store is Good Earth. Jasmin green tea is my favorite. https://www.goodearthteas.com/productinfo.asp?prod=18&typek=3 IP: Logged |

yes, thanks for bringing it up!Numi teas are really fun and nice...you can get assortment packages and try all the different flavors. You will probably find one or two that you really like. They even have a lime tea! The teas are organic...which is always nice IP: Logged |

Kam ~We have similar taste in our teas -- I was going to suggest the Yogi teas but you beat me to it, along with the Good Earth teas Try the Kombucha from Yogi, eatbooks -- http://www.c-els.com/sfCatalog.asp?sn=E070720050261146&pchid=69785 -- I've been drinking it for about 8 months and I believe it's helped me be healthier. I used to get viruses often, and I only had one a few months ago. http://www.kombuchatea.co.uk/what-is-kombucha.asp I also like the Royal Vitality with ginseng -- it gives me a natural boost in the morning. For everyday, I like Stash Teas from Oregon. I like the Chanakara line (orderable thru Stash), especially the Rooibos. I use stevia as a sweetener in all my teas. Zala IP: Logged |
