Inspired by NAM's post about healing hands, I wanted to ask about a strange occurence involving energy that I haven't been able to understand yet.
I have a Scorpio friend who is sort of a best friend/brother/ex-lover all wrapped up in one. We have a very powerful psychic bond- communicating in dreams and so on and we're both very interested in spiritual healing but have had no formal training. He has the ability to "see" inside people, if he places his hands on them, he gets a lot of images in his mind which are coming from the other person.
One day I wasn't feeling well and I asked him to try and "heal" me. We lay down on a bed and he asked me to tell him exactly when I start feeling something from him, because he's trying to learn more about it. So he placed his hands on me and at first I really didn't feel anything. Then he changed position and almost immediately I felt my heart sort of beating out of my chest but not in an unpleasant way and I started to shake. Within a minute I was so overwhelmed that I sat up suddenly and tried to explain to him what I was feeling. It was probably better than any orgasm I've ever had- I felt electricity all through my arms and fingers- and when I brought my hands together it was even stronger- I could feel all of this energy in the air- shapes and materials- it wasn't just air but the best part was this electricity throughout my body. I explained it to him and he told me he'd had a similar experience- only he was on LSD at the time and he thought he was just 'tripping'. After about five minutes, it slowly went away, until it felt like there were little ants scurrying across my fingertips and then finally it was completely gone.
Ever since (this was about two months ago), I've been obsessed with bringing that feeling back, learning about it and learning how to use it.
Could anybody shed some light on this topic?
This is the kind of thing Lindaland is so great for, as most people whom I try and explain it to ask me if I was on drugs at the time or tell me I'm creating it all with my mind.

wow, that is amazing, I am sure someone here will be able to help you since I don't know about all that, I started reading the book hands of light but I haven't finish it so I am no help LOL

But the reason why I am replying is because I also feel like I am creating these experiences in my mind and I am very skeptical, I know the mind is very powerful, so what is fantasy and what is reality? is always something I duel on.In fact something I always say is: I am stuck between fantasy and reality.
May sound out there but it is so me right now LOL

Have you look at any books on this, I am sure there has to be something like this out there.Good luck!

And this is a wonderful effect and yes it is desired again! The touching to parts of the body excluding the genitalia do indeed cause this amazing effect.

Well, thanks for all the thoughts.. when we discussed it we thought either- reiki/healing energy or Qi-gong (which is how it feels, sort of) but my idea was something like Blue Roamer said- if I'm understanding the expression correctly- he just has a touch that has a very strong effect on me

I think that may be it..
but it's somehow non-sexual sexual if that makes sense.. like moving away from the lower chakras towards the heart and third eye

Yes! That is what I and IQhunk spoke of in some of the links I posted. It can be like a perfect mind orgasm. The genitalia do not get involved.
