No actually it using oil to clean your face as opposed to using soap. You create a mixture of 50% castor oil and 50% olive oil and massage into your skin for at least 2min. There is a HUGE thread on long hair community. Its been proven to be very effective. I do it myself and found it to be a major help for my severe acne. Its not even just the acne the overall tone, elasticity, and health of my skin is really getting better. Just wanted to know if anyone hear has done it. http://www.forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=5612 IP: Logged |

Thank you for sharing this with us. I have now done the cleanse 3 times in the past 5 days. I think I like it. Time will tell. I am intrigued by the moderators statement that oil dissolves oil. I am surprised how the warm clothes actually do lift the oils without any problems at all. Again, Thank YOU! btw, I had to go to the pharmacist and ask if they carried the castor oil...he did, it was a speciality item they carried behind the checkout stand, when I inquired why, he merely stated that since it was a speciality item they didn't carry a enough stock to keep in out on store shelf IP: Logged |

Very interesting... I find that my favourite cream cleansers actually contain essential oils.Apart from that, I've used oil on my skin as a night treatment for years now. It was always rosehip oil, but in recent months I've switched to coconut oil and I love it! IP: Logged |

noreenz I'm sooooooooo glad you like it. Since it has done so much good for me I just feel the need to spread the word!!gemini I used rosehip oil and coconut oil as too. I love coconut oil for my hair and rosehip oil for scars. Did you see improvement with scars (if you had any) while you were using this? IP: Logged |

Well I did have acne scars, and you can hardly see them now - and I used rosehip oil the whole time during their disappearance, so I guess it worked! IP: Logged |
