My hair is thin and it is getting thinner. Before, you couldn't really tell much and know I can. My hair is also getting greys. I don't know what to do and I am getting really upset about it. Does anyone know of a real solution? One that really works. I have heard of some natural remedies, but do they really work?

Lexx, I am not dieting, I don't know about any hormonal problems (I just had a baby 5 1/2 months ago but my hair started thinning long before that, it has just gotten worse), I am a female and I am 30 years old. I think that I get enough protein.
Happy Dragon and bunnies, Thank You . Does that tea have any side effects?

Thanks for the reply.
I wish I could help.
No clue...sorry.
My hair is only about 1/3 as thick as it was before 33 or so.

*** Does that tea have any side effects?***
the only side effect that i'm aware of ..
is that if one drinks to much of to start with .. one might require a few extra rolls loo (toilet ) paper :-))
it's advised to take it easy with quantity at the begining .. e.g quater of a cup ..
and then slowly build up ..
and i think diabetics need to be advised .. the lass who sells it here does a special one for diabetics
( it might say something about that in the articles and books )

the only other side effect that i'm aware of .. is that it makes one feel good :-)
it also gives one an energy boost that feels very natural ( unlike coffee for example )

when i last had some .. i'd not drunk it for a few years ..
and as i like it so much and had been drinking a wine bottle of it a day ..
i went straight back into that quantity first day ..
suffice to say things got a bit hectic regarding said loo paper :-)))
however with the right quantity intake .. that doesn't happen ..

just saw this on a site i was browsing and thought of your thread. hope it helps!

Have Protein : Consume protein rich diet to combat hair fall.

Banana Hair mask Recipe
2 Ripe Banana
1 tbsp of yogurt
½ tbsp Olive oil
½ tbsp Castor oil
½ tbsp Coconut oil
Mix the above ingredients and gently massage it in your scalp. Apply from the root to the tip of the hair. Cover with hot towel, leave for half an hour. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use a mild shampoo or best use Shikakai with rice starch to wash your hair.

Goodness of this hair mask : Banana hydrates the hair and is great for thin and brittle hair. Yogurt adds shine to your hair. Olive oil nourishes the hair. Castor oil promotes hair growth. Coconut oil is a conditioning agent. http://cashsunshine.blogspot.com/search/label/hair%20loss

re question in other thread :

** Happy Dragon, does that tea taste good? **
i can only vouch for the one i get here and my personal taste like 'n dislikes ..
yes .. i think it tastes great .. otherwise this taurean would probably not drink it.
if the brew is not quite ready .. it will taste too sweet ..
if it's past ready .. then it will have a vinegry taste .. but is still fine to use ..
i.e. in cooking etc ..
re taste .. all i can say .. is try it ..

btw: i've never tried the big company commercial offerings :-))
and probably wouldn't ..
say that as i think there is at least one big company offering in the usa ..

I dunno if I'd call this one a "big company" but this is good stuff
It's not exactly in every grocery store -- but you'll find it at your local health food store

I have read somewhere- Cholesterol is good for hair and is easily available in drug store and not even expensive($4).
I also read that renu shampoo is good for grey hair.

Aside from having your baby (which is a stressor in spite of the joy of having a wee one), have you had any shocks or anything major happen?

If not, having a baby can upset your system and don't be surprised if allergies suddenly appear or disappear. Our body chemistry changes every seven years, but having a baby can be a catalyst for more changes in your body.
