Just sharing what suddenly worked for me, it could be a combination of factors, so I'll list them all.
For the first time EVER, I have been virtually pain free (able to resist medication). 2 Periods in a row!!!! I'm stoked! Totally amazed, I thought it was a curse forever.
~ Healthy diet. Including high raw veg foods, whole foods, superfoods high in Magnesium, Maca root. I use Maca Root powder in my regular smoothies. (both support painless periods)
~ Magnesium supplements, (I have also been taking extra magnesium, iron, vit b, calcium, vit c, fish oil)
~ Drinking more water and getting more sun.
~ Most important -> Mind power: Meditating on pain as it arises and letting it go (works!)
I figured out why it hurts. While I was having a painful contraction, I went inside the pain, to my uterus and made myself aware that I was the one making it contract unconsciously, so I made it conscious, and from making it conscious I was able to relax those muscles!
~ I also have let go of fears and have gained more self confidence, lot of work on my self esteem. I think Louise Hay talks about fear and menstral pain.
~ Sex, Love, Cuddles lots of it.
