I used to think that gay/lesbian relationships were a way for nature to control population on our planet - God's birth control. I know, please dont criticize me for expressing ideas - I'm not trying to be ignorant here. I grew up with a religion that did not support these relationships. And I thought a lot about this because it goes against physical and energetic (chakra) nature. (The flow of chakra energy in same gender, opposite gender mergings are each different)Yet now I truly believe we are seeing this more because love has no boundaries. Each one of us has masculine and feminine energies within us in differing proportions. At our core we seek balance. As the energy on earth shifts and evolves, the energy within us does the same. This is why i think we see it more, because we are seeking balance.
Here are several ideas. Some of you may not like this. By condoning and legalizing same sex marriages, the government gets to own more of the population. This is a far out idea. But in a legal marriage of the state, the state actually owns your children and takes away other freedoms that nobody really thinks about. Check out the laws and you will see what I am talking about.
Another idea... I think we could be seeing more gay/lesbian relationships because schools are teaching respect of diversity in all lifestyle choices. There are many clubs and organizations in the local schools and nationwide that promote this and are trying to eliminate bullying. So there is more support for uniqueness.
FYI, I love that love has no boundaries!
