I'm a good cook and love food. I used to be scared of kitchen for a long time, but then started reading cook books, visualizing the steps how to prepare something, how it should look like, etc.. It helped a lot, so now I'm pretty creative with food too.

Cap Sun/4th, Moon in Virgo/12th, Jupiter in Sag/3rd. Nothing in Cancer.

Funny that I have several friends who enjoy cooking and are REALLY good at it.

A Leo Sun (12th), Gemini Moon (9th) Virgo rising, Jupiter in Scorpio, empty Cancer.

Taurus with Cancer Moon/Virgo rising.

Leo with Scorpio Moon

Aqua with Scorpio Moon

I'm sure I could think few other, but so far I don't see any pattern.

Good question.

Ugh I really don’t like cooking, I don’t have the patience to clean up afterwards…plus I don’t like making the mess.

Is my Virgin Moon showing?

What a lovely question.
I've always regarded cooking as "humiliating" for women and swore I would never try to cook for anyone because I didn't want to be like my mom. Well, I'm 37 and 6 months ago out of the blue I decided to try and learn (books, tv shows and net sites) and I discovered I LOVED it and loved feeding people, LOL! I'm even getting pretty good at it. Go figure.

Before I got in here I didn't expect to see that many Gemini placements but maybe it's the gem curiosity?

Sun/Mars/Merc/venus conj in Gem
Pisces moon
Cap asc
Jup in Vir (7th)
Ceres in Libra.

My wife i think enjoys cooking

we're both very keen on eating fresh food and bought two Asian recipe books the other day to learn some new stuff

we made Mongolian Fish Curry with Sea Bass

was absolutely delicious
yum yum, best thing it took us both only 30 mins until we were sitting down and eating

me aqua sun, cap moon and jupiter in cap
her cap sun virgo moon

alma, your hubby is a chef, but doesn't cook? did i understand that correctly? or he only cooks for friends? whats that about?

I've found that Taurus and Virgos are great cooks. As a Cancer I usually don't cook because I go over the top and it's tiring to keep up so I eat out alot. though I am a very good cook when I do cook.

I think it's hard to say which signs make the best cooks, but there are some which cook in different ways... when i was sharing a house last year my aquarian housemate cooked about once every six months; the rest of the time he ordered chinese and ate it in his room in front of his computer! Some days he did cook but only chinese out of a packet. I've heard cancers like cooking, it's a domestic activity. I think leos are supposed to love cooking as it's doing something creative, I know I do anyway! Unfortunately back with my parents now so I rarely get the chance!

I have Jupiter in the 4th and love cooking,
more than restaurant food any day of the week
I try out at least 15 new recipes a month.
I'd rather cook than eat out.
After going to restaurants too much all the food started to taste the same so that's one of the reasons I stopped,
also I became a vegetarian and realized I had to get creative or die from culinary boredom.

I loved to cook from an early age...my mom had me in a cooking class at 8yrs, and I took whatever cooking classes I could in High School....a few years ago I stopped liking it and began despising it!lol My teenage son never appreciated it much, and had nobody else to cook for...as was just plain lazy after working all day...
The past few months I have started cooking again...my bf and I live together, so I have him to cook for...my teenage son has grown up a bit, and doing alot of cooking himself...I guess quitting my job, and not being so tired all the time, has helped...as well as having people who appreciate it! It has always come naturally for me, I don't like to brag about things...but I can cook, my bf loves it, and I love to make him happy...soooo...perhaps it's my Taurus Moon?

Yes, I'm too tired too and don't have enough money to really do it right plus nobody to cook for.

I like to cook, I'm quite creative and I'm told I'm good. I don't enjoy baking cakes and sweets though. I can do it, but it's not as much fun.

Love food, don't enjoy cooking, although i am good at it.
The hardest thing was making a bread... U really have to hit a spot;to control the dough;
Ur fingers get sticky!U r covered in flour! Too much salt! No salt at all!! Nooo!
I am very specific about food, too.
Olives, tomatos and cucumbers=alpha&omega of my dieting!
Lots of cheese!
Fish!
Bananas,watermelons!
Every kind of nuts...
