I wonder which aspect in a natal chart could give a clue about enjoying or not cooking. I not even know which house or planet to look at! Any help?I don't! I hate it! I am cooking ... because I need to, but I'd rather do any other "job" in the home than cooking! I wish if some day I will have money to get somebody to cook for me! Sometimes I am in the mood and I like to do something special for dear ones, but daily basis it's a pain! I've heard about Jupiter in cancer can do that, but I don't find it quite relevant. I know some people which enjoy cooking and they don't have Jupiter in cancer. I am cancer rising and I suppose to like (it?!) How do you feel abot this? IP: Logged |

My moon is in virgo in 4th! I manage cooking, but is not something I am doing with plesure! I feel like a burden most of the time! And I know a friend of mine, she is enjoying so much cooking! She is cancer sun ... IP: Logged |

My dad enjoys cooking and he is a great cook!Sun in Cancer in V
Moon in Scorpio in VIII
ASC in Aqua My brother also loves cooking and eating too, lol Sun in Pisces in IV

I love to cook!  I have a Cancer sun in VIII and a Taurus moon in VI. I think you are likely to enjoy cooking if you have strong Cancer or 4th house influences.IP: Logged |

I HATE cooking!! It's funny though, every chart interp that I have read, I am shown to love it  ... I have Venus in Taurus(7th) as well as, Jupiter but, in the 6th. Maybe there is missing info with regard to my Jupiter being conjunct, almost exactly, my S. Node...? I'm also shown to love gardening and, to be very good with plant life.... in reality, I have the Grim Reaper, as far as green thumbs go,  .... plants hate me...

My sis is a gemini/cancer/virgo. Prolly the best cook I know, even better than my mom, and she's just a kid at 13 years old. She loves to experiment with new recipes and see what happens if she throws in a little of this or that or cooks it like this or that.IP: Logged |

Nope, I don't cook at all. I don't eat like a normal person, therefore I do not cook hehe! I live off of mostly fruit & bread & veggies (I like raw veggies). Every once in a blue moon i'll have a hankering for a bit of chicken, but it's not often. I go out to eat for that ...Gods forbid i'd touch one of those slimey lil suckers, yuck! HAHA! I am a superb dessert maker / baker though  Everyone seems to love my home-make PeanutButter Cups the best! I love to make just about anything with chocolate in it ------------------

I'm not all that keen on cooking, but get the urge once in a while (like the one I've had recently to make my own bread); my best creations are also usually desserts ~ sponge cakes, trifles, date buns/muffins, cheesecake.. IP: Logged |

I'm learning! I do enjoy being in the kitchen and cook, if only I wasn't so accident prone.My guy's a better cook than I am. He's a Cancer Sun and Libra Ascendant. Been experimenting a lot lately since I'm a vegan and he's not (yet...?) ------------------

Cancer likes to cook and Taurus likes food. The only Cacner placement I have is Juno and the only taurus placements is Saturn, pallas and another minor asteriod. I like cooking for myself, and am pretty good at it. I often don't have the time hwoever. I like cooking for my friends but not for strangers or my family. I have Scorpio Jupiter in 3rd and Pisces moon in 7th. IP: Logged |

I LOVE to cook i just hate washing up afterwards!!!!
I have just moved to a new house and my kitchen has a large bench opening out to a pretty large dinning room and so i can entertain and cook at same time...i LOVE it!!! that to me is heaven....just need to get a dishwasher!!!hahahahaCancer: Sun, Mercury and Mars

I am a very good cook and I've always loved cooking..I have Jupiter in Leo. No cancer placements other than south node & some asteroids. I do have cancer in the 5th, though.I know a sag mooner who can't cook at all. Lots of scorps are very good cooks, I've realized. I know one who goes to culonary arts school (or however it's spelled  ) he has leo moon. ------------------

I love to cook and have a lot of Sag influences Sun/Asc/Mars/Jupiter plus Aquarius Moon, Libra Venus...but that hasn't stopped me...have loved cooking since I was 9...and cooking people's favorite food makes me even happierI wanted to add to my post - my mom, bless her little Pisces heart, really didn't like to cook, but had to since there were six of us to feed and no one else would (until I came along ), my Taurus father, I only thought he knew how to BBQ, , but found out after my mother passed away, is an awesome cook! My Leo sister is just like my mom and really likes to leave the cooking to anyone else who will, my brother, does all the cooking for his wife, who is a Pisces. IP: Logged |

I love cooking, it is relaxing and therapeutic for me. I like reading cookbooks and dissecting food chemistry to really understand how something turns out the way it does. A lot of times I can read a recipe and can visualize how something will turn out and smell like. I even visualize the steps of how I will make something. I dont mind cooking. In fact when I do cook it can be relaxing. However I seldom do cook, as I always seem to have some else in the house who insists on cooking (Jupiter 4th house?)IP: Logged |

My husband was a chef and had two restaurants in the past so he knows very well to cook and is enjoying. You would say lucky me! don't you? Well, isn't like that  he is cooking only for his friends ( at least I don't have to...) and now is too busy to help me in this matter. He is scorpio Sun, Mercury, Venus scorpio too, gemini Moon, libra rising. But he has NN in cancer! So I guess you must have some strong cancer placements or 4th house, or Jupiter as well in cancer or in 4th to enjoy cooking. Even I am cancer rising and I have Moon, Venus in 4th (virgo) I have there as well Pluto and Uranus and maybe that's why even I do manage cooking I don't like it too much!
