Panko would be good as well, or you can roast or grill them until they become crisp. That is one of my favorite things to do with asparagus.

TGI Fridays has an incredible appetizer of them (quite large portions) for around six bucks with a horseradish dipping sauce.

Ate there for lunch twice last week, and I'm going back Wednesday. They don't taste like green beans at all. Addictive!

I simmer mine in beef bouillon, onions and bacon. OMG yum!

I can`t stand the taste of many green foods so I doctor them all the time
