No-Churn Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

It'll take you just 10 minutes to prep this satisfying and delicious homemade vanilla ice cream. The best part? You don't need one of those silly ice cream machines! Now that's magic, if you ask us.

Ingredients
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 tablespoons bourbon (optional)
2 cups cold heavy cream

Directions
In a medium bowl, stir together condensed milk, vanilla, and Bourbon, if desired. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream on high until stiff peaks form, 3 minutes. With a rubber spatula, gently fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture. Pour into a 4 1/2-by-8 1/2-inch loaf pan. Freeze until firm, 6 hours.

Cook's Note: Freeze, covered, up to 1 week.

Yum! That looks good, Randall. Except I never had bourbon in ice cream...or in anything else, including a glass.

Can I add my three ingredient "ice cream"?

Put into a blender:

Almond Milk
Frozen bananas, sliced
Cocoa powder to taste

Like soft serve ice cream, if you use enough bananas. But it won't work in an ice cream cone.

The alcohol is the 4th ingredient; it's optional. Not sure what would happen if you add other things to it.

Yeah, probably wouldn't harden like real ice cream.

I have 4 stevia plants on my porch. They are super sweet. It has somewhat of a strange taste but still is totally good for you and no insulin spike, I am quite sure as it is a spice.

You can just chew on the leaves and it is like a lot of sugar taste.

Truvia is made of it, I think. They say it is actually GOOD for some types of diabetes...
