I blanched some kale and afterwards found a piece on the stove that never made it into the pot. Surprise! I enjoyed a kale chip - a piece that dried from the heat on the stovetop.

This brought my awareness to the fact that I have a food dehydrator somewhere in storage. I used to make fruit leather for the kids. Plus I grew a sun dried tomato variety one year, sliced them and had a long lived storage of sun dried tomatoes from that crop.

But I never made veggie chips. Any tips for seasonings?

My health food store makes these but they are kind of rich with a nut topping. I bought some on Amazon that were good, too, but not as good as freshly made

It was a tasty treat, just a plain crunchy dried leaf.
Seasonings would zap it up a bit, though.

You can roast them in the oven. Just sprinkle some olive oil and salt on top! Imagine soy sauce would also be a good choice.
