I ate things I never do. Feta cheese and Tzidzi(sp). It is a Greek yogurt sauce. Man, were they good. There is a really good diner in my town that serves really great home made food.

Sausages and Peppers are Great!

I just don't put the Bell Peppers in til last, so they don't get mushy.

I like the onions caramelized, though.

And Sweet, Mild; not hot.

Wonder what the best bread would be?

I like Ciabatta quite a lot.

Ach, Lucky You...

I'm still wondering about the fried pickle thing.

I mean, peanut butter/pickle sandwiches are a Family Tradition, but fried?

I've been fasting for the last week, pretty much.

Last night, I had this Overwhelming Urge for Garlic Bread.

Midnight Ciabatta and Fresh Garlic Fingers...

Well I used my juice extractor to juice a variety of healthy vegetables plus use up some of my bumper crop plum tomatoes, but the mix tasted terrible so I decided to make a veg. soup with it which luckily tasted really good. It turned out so thick like a stew. I added some grains and beans. On my second serving I decided to use chili spices and it tasted even better.

Hot sauce on tuna fish? never tried it.
I guess I'm boring; I put lemon pepper on tuna fish in olive oil, sometimes dice really fine onion and celery.

I'm making linguine with sautéed spinach, onion, garlic, roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, black olives, chick peas. Sauteed in olive oil, with a splash of white wine vinegar, touch of lemon juice and salt and pepper and cayenne powder. It's good topped with sautéed sweet sausage and chicken or fish too.

yikes, lala!

I love steak, too.
I once ordered filet mignon that was served practically raw, like tartara, but sliced super thin, not chopped. I ate it because I was young and didn't know what I was ordering and we were eating out at a very exclusive restaurant and I did not want to embarrass my family, or myself, by rejecting it. It actually tasted good because back then the finest quality beef was used and it was of exceptional quality.
