Simple fruit and veg combinations for juicer.

These come from my Champion 2000 Juicer book. I have not tried them all but so far every one that I tried has tasted good. Some of these combinations taste way better than they sound. Stick to the quantities and ingredients. Improvise only with spices.

You can add any one of these spices for variety:
hot pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, celery seed, ground pepper, ground cumin

You can add sweetness using 1-2 Tablespoons of raisins, dates or chopped figs as you juice.

Apple Beet Surprise
2 apples
1/2 beet
1/2 lemon
Juice everything together (not in the order given)

Apple-Celery-Pepper Drink (refreshing)
3 apples
3 celery stalks
1 red pepper
Juice everything together (not in the order given)

Celery and Lemon Drink
1 handful tender celery leaves
2 peeled lemons
Juice in order given
Add 1/2 cup sugar and then add enough water to make 1 quart

Cabbage Pineapple Drink:
1 cup red cabbage, packed
1/2 pineapple, peeled
Juice everything in order given

Carrots and Greens
3-4 carrots
1 stalk celery
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/2 cup chopped spinach, packed

Beets
carrots
one apple (I really hate apples)
a little kale

I also like to make fermented ginger carrots and then juice that with other veggies.

The pulp goes to the chickens and ducks!
