Ok guys!! Heres the recipe!! PECAN SQUARES: Ingredients; Crust: 1 1/4 pounds unsalted butter, room temp 3/4 cups granulated sugar 3 extra-large eggs 3/4 tsp pure vanilla extract 4 1/2 cups all-purpos flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt Topping: 1 pound unsalted butter 1 cup good honey (make sure its good, otherwise it doesnt taste as delicious!!) 3 cups light brown sugar, packed 1 tsp grated lemon zest 1 tsp grated orange zest 1/4 cup heavy cream 2 pounds pecans, coarsely chopped DIRECTIONS: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. For the crust, beat the butter and granulated sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, until light, approximately 3 minutes. Add the eggs and the vanilla and mix well. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix the dry ingredients into the batter with the mixer on low speed until just combined. Press the dough evenly into an ungreased 18 by 12 by 1-inch baking sheet making an edge around the outside. ( now here you gotta line the sheet with foil first, make sure you have enough foil over the edges so you will be able to form a rim around the pan. THE TOPPING WILL OVER FLOW, so its important. Lol my cousin who gave me the recipe learned the hard way. Ok continuing with the instructions!!) It will be very sticky; sprinkle the dough and your hands lightly with flour. Bake for 15 minutes, until the crust is set but not browned. Allow to cool. For the topping, combine the butter, honey, brown sugar, and zests in a large, heavy bottomed sauce pan. Cook over low heat until the butter is melted, using a wooden spoon to stir. Raise heat and boil for 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in heavy cream and pecans. Pour over the crust, trying not to get the filling between the crust and the pan. ( hi again! Well, no matter what the filling goes where it wants lol. Now here id suggest washing the pan right away in hot water. Itll come clean like nobodys business. If not, it gets pretty hard and diffucult. Better just to clean it right away!!) Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the filling is set. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until cold. Cut into bars and serve. Ok the end!! Lol about 5-10 mins after you take it outta the oven pry one of the pecans off the top and taste! Omg its goooood!! Lol and i never fridged mine. They sit on the counter and we all just eat it as we do stuff enjoy!!!!! And if ya make it lemme know what you think!!!

Hi,Just wanted to point out how incredibly far off Rosalind's reading of me was. It confirms my belief that I should run away very quickly from anyone with an outsized ego professing to be an "expert." That's all. IP: Logged |

Not only that, and I got even more than what had been conveyed to me btw, which was already far in excess of my contractual guaranteed minimum. I also got promoted. This proves that nothing can be interpreted in isolation. She just said summarily Saturn is transitting 8th House.. so you're going to have money struggles. And how dare you question me because I'm an expert. IP: Logged |

My mom's saturn is transiting the 8th house and she doesn't actually have money problems, just insecurity and attention/focus on that area that comes along with it. IP: Logged |

Hahaz. It's great to see you,RAS, putting your lore to practical use! Yeah, saturn can truly burden a relationship..I'm actually heading off to the airport to catch my sis. She's returning from Israel. I missed her so much! Later! IP: Logged |

Thanks Desiring Shadows! Turns out she is slightly more compatible with her ex husband, is not compatible with the fling bc it'll never be something stable, and she should just find someone else who she is a lot more compatible with than any of them ------------------ Imagination is intelligence having fun. —George Scialabba $3.50 ebay compatibility readings IP: Logged |
