Just wanna say I looked back on our cmts in personal readings and I think the biggest problem was that thank you was taken out of context. Yes I agree with you rs (&hmm) that if someone told me "omg thank you so much I'll forever be your slave!" ...who wouldn't find that uncomforable? Still, if they said it. they said it. because everyone has there own way of expressing appreciation. No need to take that so seriously..unless they stalk you but I doubt they could even if they wanted to lol. But at the end of the day all I was referring to was two words that takes two seconds to type out and even less than a sec to say.
One more thing in quote of hmm's comment I hope you know I don't REALLY think she shouldn't get appreication if she deserved it. I learned to be humble hearing serious blunt comments like that.. for instance if I didn't like the food someone cooked for me and I refused to eat it they would tell me "well fine you can be like the hobos on the street that don't get any food." seems harsh to some but for me it's called a Reality check, and from then on I learned to appreciate everything I was given because others have nothing. That was my point for her.
So I just hope everyone keeps in mind that we all have different ideas and we just have to accept or ignore them..which is something i should of done myself, but now that the deed is done I'm just giving out my point of view  IP: Logged |

I think that hmm was trying to say was that people pleading and begging was fake, but Jerry misunderstood it as her saying manners are fake. Then, taking offence, things got out of hand and snowballed from there. I hope this doesn't come off as me blaming or picking on Jerry, but that's what I take happened.I tried to get it across that hmm's comment was misunderstood, but I suppose I didn't do a very good job... No no I totally agree with you thats exactly what it was. I guess when we're not in the best mood we don't see things clearly.
Still, in defense of AD all he said was "please and thank you" and it was taken out of context by hmm, not a big deal though it happens to all of us. I'm sure he knows you meant no harm, afterall we've become like a family lol, and every family has disagreementsIP: Logged |

Ok I'll say what I think or feel about it one last time cos I really shouldn't even be entertaining something so simple. 1st of all the question was on sand's thread & it was for sand because he's a buddy & I didn't feel we'd kick off (and still we didn't ) hmm answered the question because she KNOWS she doesn't say "please or thank you" Like I said its completely her character as she described to feel like she's begging when she says those words which I disagree because my thoughts on it are different. I told her she can continue to not have manners & was shocked at how she thinks it's "low" to have gratitude & express it because in my mentality it doesn't make any sense. Though it's not my nature I told her good luck with it. When she claimed it was "fake" I just said WOW because truly I'm not going to force someone to my way of thinking & who would want to? That's it that's all no big deal it's not something I'm going to dwell on because I'm happy to see more ppl say thank you here than not. Hey guys, Scorpy showed me the sand thread last night randomly on facebook. and I have to say, i have to agree with AD because what hmm was saying..haha i couldnt help but open my eyes wide..especially when i read this part: quote:

It's very obvious that AD was just JOKING when he said sand should say please when he asked for a chart reading. He didnt actually mean that Sand should say please, he was just JOKING. and hmm took it and ran with it and made some big deal about it, and not just that. But he/she also seemed to spill something that i think is a lil disturbing haha. I mean, what kind of person would ignore someone's request for a reading just because they seemed like they were pleading too much? haha. So yeah. I think there are a lot of people who are messed up like that, who confuse KINDNESS with WEAKNESS. I was talking about it in Sand's old thread about how he dislikes weakness. I'm not saying you're like that, sand. But some people definitely can be. And should have more compassion. Either way. Water signs are nonjudgmental and im going to hope that hmm just misunderstood AD's comment as a serious request that sand should say please otherwise its rude. (it wasnt a serious request, he was kidding). And that that's why he kind of went a little extreme in what he replied. I'm thinking that's what it was. Which is pretty much what Moonfish already mentioned it most likely was, too. Just wanted you to know I support you AD for standing up for your beliefs and being outraged for somebody saying manners are fake. Haha, I would be too. Either way, seems like it was just a simple misunderstanding in this case. Someone not realizing that the other person was just joking to begin with. Take care guys
