Not always true!!!!!!!!!!
I will try and find pictures from some 16 years ago of my 7 house cats and 1 house bunny and 1 guinea pig.

They ate together, slept together, and well,
the bunny loved doing it with the cats who did not mind, and some were male.
No one tried to eat or kill anyone.

I used to babysit for a family that had bunnies, cats and birds all roaming/flying free in their gigantic house. The bunnies, went to the bathroom on paper and were similar to cats in that they knew where they had to "go" and learned to go there.

as an animal lover, who was never allowed them as a kid, i thought their place was the coolest home ever.

^Yeah she lost her cubs, they were premature and she became really depressed :/ So they wrapped up a litter of piglets in tiger cloth and let her mother them is the "story"

The real story is "The pictures are not from a zoo in California but the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Thailand, a popular attraction that boasts of 200 tigers, 100,000 crocodiles, trained pigs, elephants, and other animals. The zoo features creative shows and displays of animals including these pictures of an adult tiger with piglets dressed like tiger cubs. One of the goals of the zoo is to demonstrate how animals of different species can live peacefully together. One of the experiments was introducing baby piglets to a mother tiger (who herself had been nursed by a pig) and it worked. At one time the mother tiger nursing piglets was in an enclosure next to an enclosure where a sow was nursing baby tigers. The zoo says those cubs grew faster from the pig's milk. I have to think that the crow and cat came together at a critical time in their lives. Like the guy said, crows cant fly very well after they leave the nest. They probably took to each other and stuck together after that.

Kind of sad how it pecked at the door for five years after and then eventually disappeared. Poor guy lost his bestie.

I thought the same about the orangutang and the dog. Either they had a past life together, or the orangutang had a lovely experience with a dog when it was young and so when he saw it bounded up to him and the dog was just a chill hound dog and took to it. I think it needed help too, and didnt mind the orangutang wanting to feed it.

That was the most adorable thing I've ever seen. Especially the part when it opened up the dog's mouth to feed it from it's own mouth....and seemed to want to look down it's throat. Cool dog that he was so easy going with the orangutang's antics.

Like with people, i think some animals are more adept at a higher form of communicatioin.....and sometimes they meet up and connect on a higher level.....use a form of universal language.

Actually a book on animal communication said something about the love you give your animals helps them grow spiritually and makes them become more intelligent. I'll have to find the blurb.....it made a lot of sense. Just like humans who recieve love, grow better than babies who don't.....i imagine it is the same for our animal companions.

Wow thats crazyy... Its so touching how animals raised by other species will think they're like their mother. Like the girl that was raised by wolves :0

Interesting

Though coming to this thread makes me start obsessing about getting a chow puppy, and it's hard to have any thoughts apart from chow puppies.

I might need to "break up" with this thread.
