So Sun separating square Pluto, out of sign...Pisces and Scorpio...

Hm, well, with a Pluto square, your Sun deals with themes of depth and tenacity to go further. As a separating square, you naturally have the tendency to dig deep and hide most of yourself far away where most people won't see it - it's just how your Sun has learnt to function. The issues with this aspect come in when you don't temper this secrecy with openness while experiencing the world. You can dig your own grave this way, but the problem isn't whether you're digging your own grave, but whether or not you see it that way (here's where out of sign comes in).

But being out of sign, the energies flow and work together well. If your were Sun in Aquarius, it would be more intensity and tension and less secrecy. With the energy of a trine, you can handle yourself well, but given it's a square, you need to learn to adjust these energies so they can function together, and not off one another. A trine wouldn't need adjustment, per se. And with Pisces, you can flow to your own world and habits, but a square is still a square.

Murky waters indeed. It doesn't help your Sun is a part of a stellium with Mercury and Saturn...separating the energies will be hard. Saturn can make you ruthless and Mercury can make you self-obsessed.

Does that have something to do with Neptune conjunct my Sun/True Lilith/Pholus in 8th?
(And yes, it's a reasonable conjunction. 2-3 degrees for a luminary as well as my chart ruler.)
