Hmm. Wrote this last night but it wouldnt take so quickly posting..mightve been too long..

...

T feel free to derail this thread anytime, it'd only be fair ;-)

...

Hi Faith, the other got locked obv so replying here...
Never mentioned his death on LL but it happened last spring, but no didn't know u were the same age at the time it happened for you.

Re: appliances or electrical things turning on, nope not that I recall. It'd prob make me jump tho...that's definitely different.
There was some story not really covered in mainstream media. You prob heard about it, somewhere in the Midwest. I need to find the link first to catch myself up with the details. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2546850/Children-possessed-200-demons-levitated-walked-backwards-walls-hospital-staff.html
Anyway, this one sounds very legit. Oily substance all of a sudden dripping from the walls, wtf?
Police and doctors and nurses all saw it, all believe. This poor woman and her family.

Do you think she looks v. Neptunian? I'm so interested in their charts. The whole things unreal. I'm sure there are other stories on their ordeal this was just the first that popped up.

Ok so that was a bummer, I'm good at that. Hmm. Back to reading your reply..

Saw one once, not....what I thought it'd be? I guess I've seen too many movies. What's clairaudient? I get all the fancy names mixed up. Right now I'm claircarbs. #moonvenusfatattack

Hmm her pluto on your saturn..oh in Leo. Haha they're something else awhl rite....something else..sounds heavy :/ yeah, both of mine had their plutos conj my asc, opp my merc....mmmhmm...id say different values. At least.

Tumbling into something very different sounds fun that's a good adventure to have. I'm thinking of a movie...with maybe, ugh I don't remember her name, she left her old home or something, her and her boy, she ended up working in a diner...they had so much fun but it was crazy..I always liked movies like that, people going away to different places and the craziness that ensues. Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974). I also liked ...ugh neil Simon..which one..oh, Lost in Yonkers (1993), Funny Farm (1988).

Oh speaking of otherworldly did you see Hello Again (1987)I don't know if it wears well, for someone who has never seen it, but I first saw it in the 80s and I still like it. Plus it has gabriel Byrne and seriously what's not to love about watching him.it has a bad critic score as I thought, just checked... I guess it is pretty cheesy. But it's fun, nostalgic fun anyway.

Back to adventures, it sounds like you have a positive perspective

Hmm never been to New Orleans, just seen some of what was supposed to be New Orleans in movies. I'm sure I wouldn't like the weather have you been?
Haha, nopez on the crystal balls. I do have a collection of crystals on the shelf in my bathroom next to some perfumes and a buddha pill box ha and I wear a citrine necklace more than any other piece I have, but no magic ball I do have a lot of Buddha imagery. Practically in every room, almost all with eyes closed, looking nice and peaceful. Also Christian crosses in every room. And dark red curtains. I dont think that sounds new orleans but what do i know. And easels too, I have a few of those. Lotsa sketchbooks pencils paints blahblah typical Pisces mess. I have normal things too, like plants. But yeah, lots of art with eyes closed looking peaceful. Dark red, cream, navy blue, emerald green, amethyst, the same sorta colors I wear I pick out for the home. I even recently bought a tablecloth with a red cream swaying loose floral pattern, and when I got home it dawned on me that the print matched a skirt I have. So, ahem. Pretty weird. I guess I like to camouflage into my space. I also recently bought a romper for summer that matches a table runner i have. just realized that cos im wearing it. What about you? What's your home style? (Not that I have one lol) ha, I should put the tarot cards on show and really freak people out. Have a nice supply of holy water. My place prob does look pretty weird. definitely not ethan allen. Hmm. O well.
Eh, you know one of my neighbors, this older couple, they've hung bells up by string all over their ceilings. Pretty string too,,actually I think it's thin colored ribbon. Hundreds in their living room alone. Only a really tall person would bump into it.
My place in comparison, maybee not so bad. Or maybe it's more like I belong here.

Oh a cult? That's different, anything like Scientology, or rather not say?

Hmm I think the only time I've felt electric is when my fingers accidentally got into sockets, or that static when you touch someone and didn't mean to shock or get shocked and then it's just awkward.
Energy leaping out of you, that sounds awesome.
I do have a lot of floating and flying dreams, feeling weightless for the rest of the day, but no not electric. :-)

This was like my dream (minus the costume) a few days ago,

Flying around like Peter Pan in a living room, with people on this big sectional couch (strangers)watching me..wth really strange. But all i had to do was jump and gravity lost its hold on me. I just had to keep making sure I didn't bump into them. It's better in the skyl, haha should've flown out the door.

What kind of dreams do you have when you feel electric like that?

Well I guess this post is long enough.
Chat later.

Posting now, even though I don't have much time, but I wanted to capture the moment...I'm all choked up because the way you describe your home interior sounds so much like how I've been picturing it all along. Freaks me out a little! Like crosses are part of that "New Orleans" look to me.

And with the art supplies, too, I didn't mention that, but yes, I was picturing them. This friend that you remind me of, she's a fine artist, makes her money via gallery exhibits & sales. (Her sun's exactly opposite yours and yes she is probably a Cap moon, I checked.) More on art later...

Oh but thanks for putting the kitty next to my name, that's so cute! =)

And thanks for all of this, looking forward to catching up when I get time.

Cheers

Ooh, piccies! I see them, cool! you look lovely and so young.... Like very youthful and relaxed, not much like a capricorn or at least the ones I've known.

Imo you look so much like a Leo out of the 3 I hardly see the Capricorn at all save for the clothes style and small frame. More Leo but Aquarius too, the eyes look aquarius, humanitarian ithink is the trait i have to look it up,you look like an Aquarian I knew who was very organized but also in a million places at once, but she always thought she was disorganized for some reason. I agree with your friend about the thick hair, that's awesome. You look not as I pictured? Much more relaxed, that's a good thing

Wow you have great lips too but you don't wear makeup? I would be flaunting those babies like no tomorrow. Do you wear skinny colored jeans? I think all youthful women who have thin legs should wear fitted colored jeans at least every other day, they look so good.

What else....I love the wavy hair in the first pic, that looks great on you the thick wavy hair to balance out your frame. I think there are products that keep the wave in or do you straighten yours now?

It must be my libra or moon/venus I always want to style people and I hardly see your venus in your clothes, maybe in the relaxed attitude? so I'm going to come back and post pics hope you're not offended this is just what I do to people.

Ok so then I come back and you tell me what you think when you have time :-) of course you can put me on mental ignore :P but I'm gonna look for venus in sagittarius stuff for you. Don't worry it won't be like katy perry.

I think this looks like venus Sadge with cap, what do you think?
It's kinda hippie fun Sadge but not too out there?

I can't think of any celebs off the top with your combo.
You remind me of Katie Holmes but she's venus Scorp...but i think she has Leo rising? I forget if she's a Sadge sun or what.

I like this one because of the short boots they balance out the dress to make it more wearable and the pleats in the dress play off the waves in the hair. Plus it's not too showy. And thin legs look good by themselves in short boots.

Eta: for some reason too I keep seeing you in short overalls, ok before you start to laugh look at this, but just not tattered, click and maybe with converse type sneakers instead of like toms but both work.

Ok now I wait for you to smile or scream

...

Oops forgot about the sleeping thing, that sounds wild, what does your family say about it? I've never heard of that before?

Thank you!

The way I think I look always clashes badly with what the camera says. Probably the most unexpected things for me to see in pictures are: a) signs of aging, like crows' feet, b) extreme sensitivity. It doesn't show in the pics I posted, I'm actually horrified that my face is giving so much away.

I like to think of myself looking Aquarian! Maybe it's my progressed sun having been there so long.

Hardly ever wear makeup but agree that my lips aren't bad. Probably my best facial feature but that's not saying much

Sometimes I wear skinny jeans, pretending I'm Kate Middleton in cheap attire. My figure is like hers, only I have bigger hips.

OMG you're like my Pisces best friend...every time I see her she says "I'm DYING to give you a makeover." Then she's like, "Choker necklace, cute ballet flats, earrings, mascara..." on and on. She's right though..she looks a lot better than I do...I trust her judgement.

It's been a while since I've done anything to my hair besides using anti-frizz gel. I used to straighten it but stopped when my ends started splitting. The wave makes my hair too puffy so I try and reduce it.

ROTFL It's partly the Sadge Venus relaxed attitude. And I am just short on clothes. Not proud of that outfit. LOL

It's a nice outfit but too young for me, I think? I'm pushing 40 OMG. Maybe if I looked like Heidi Klum, I would do it.

I used to dress like that, with the converse sneakers... maybe that's why you see me in that outfit? =) And yeah I would still wear it, especially with the white shirt. I wear a lot of white shirts.

What kind of clothes do you wear?

I've never told anyone about it before, no one, but was feeling super talkative yesterday and decided to put it out there. Public confession or something. Glad to have gotten that over with!

More later...

Ok so I put some things together bearing in mind "40" I don't think they're too young, but 40 is not old soo...but they can be modified I guess. At any rate they're more covered up, 1,2,3.

..and this is what I'm wearing lately, either the exact things or really close to it-unobtrusive stuff..maybe growing into the virgo asc :/ but I always had venus 6th, hardly any jewelry. sporty, casual, formal.

Oh I forgot about your Venus house! I didn't even think to ask what it is..hmm for next time :-) thatll give me an excuse to play around again

LOL!

Clairaudient = hearing things. So my friend will actually hear things being spoken when the people talking are way out of earshot. Nikola Tesla might've been clairaudient, just with his super sensitive hearing...like, a train passing miles away would feel so loud to him it would hurt his ears.

Sweet!

My family is getting ready to head out to the Chesapeake for a sailing day, will try and finish replying tonight...

If not, just wishing you a good weekend ~

Hi Lonake!

Sorry if this is loooong. Trying to catch up.

Re: New Orleans~

Are you Christian at all? Funny...most Pisces I know are at least nominally Christian, while at the same time, I can talk to them about anything..astrology, agnosticism, etc.

IKEA mixed with antiques and Chippendale reproductions. Long story...and also hard to call it a "style," though bit by bit it's coming more in line with my tastes. I like bold colors, so there are candy-apple red accents in most rooms. Having kids around gives me an excuse to decorate with toys, like I have a rainbow wooden block set that is my favorite "decoration."

Sounds cool, actually ...Holy water...is there a story behind that? Pick it up at Lourdes?

Oh and what kind of art do you do? I just doodle at this point, with varying levels of complexity/seriousness.

I love it!!! Trying to think...I've only been to a few houses that are very unique. One aunt had a running stream in her basement; the whole thing was made to look like a cave, with torches on the roughly-stuccoed walls. Another woman I worked with had an artist husband, and the walls at their house were wild, like fluorescent green walls in the dining room, with repro Van Gogh oil paintings to match. And a big gaudy chandelier. Awesome.

Nah, just a run-of-the-mill "home church"...little group splitting off from a larger church. Christian, intellectual, borderline normal-seeming from a distance. It's the cult mentality that's so strange, when people get to the point where they defer to someone else for judgment on every aspect of life, including what type of collar is best for their shirts, not seeing the lunacy. I was never as crazy as some of my friends there. I can never sit still with the status quo, which is why I'm pretty much a loner.

I don't know. The bad surges I described and deleted, they actually happen when I am half-awake, not thinking of anything. The nightmare that made me feel like little sparks were flying out of me...I can't remember.

Weird thing is, I tend to wake up every night around "the witching hour" where every minor concern I had during the day gets replayed with amplified fear. So if I was worried that day when my 4 year-old ran away from me in the parking lot...in the middle of the night, I re-experience that with sheer terror, like viscerally feeling how vulnerable he is and how it would feel to have a big car backing up fast towards me without any power to escape. HOPE this is some crazy phase, like transiting Pluto hammering my sun.

Ahh thank you! LOVE these. And you've intuited my wannabe Native American vibe. I used to have a belt like that, I love embroidered belts, Southwest style. The pendulum-type necklaces are also cool. Divination devices on-the-go! (If I ever learn to talk to them.)

*gush* Your formal attire is GORGEOUS. And very Capricorn, I think ~ reminds me of my Cap sun friend's style. I never would have pictured you in any of this stuff.

Are you a runner/athlete? 'Love the casual look, too.

Sighhhh I never get time to shop, my wardrobe pretty much sucks. I don't even know where people find interesting-looking clothes, all the catalogs I get just have boring stuff. Sorry for whining.

Hope you have a nice week!

Hi again, how was your 4th, do you celebrate? We just went to our regular neighborhood block party. I realized again how funny people can be: there was this group that bought at least 10 of each firework they liked then set them off all at once (one type at a time) They also purchased at least 50(seriously) of this star sort of shape that has blue lines then ends in yellow dots at the tips. I wanted to go up and ask them "were these on sale or something." I always like marveling at how strange people can be. Some kinda OCD firework thing. They were cool though. Do you have a favorite or do you not care for them? I like the ones that you don't see go up in the air then they make a big BOOM and a big spider like thing appears out of nowhere.

Yeah about my home style i think i remember posting some pics on astro 2.0 maybe you saw those too. Ikea is cool, they have some neat things, it's a bright fresh style. Does your libra moon husband like to shop?? I dated a libra moon, I told him one day I was going out to run some shopping errands and he bragged that he wouldn't mind going with me, that he loves to "browse" lmao. Even I hardly like to browse, I have to be in some strange specific nesting mood to be able to handle that. Or just be in a really cool store or antique shop, the kind where each seller has their own lil section of the store. And he made moccasins, that was one of his hobbies, he asked if id like a pair, hmm what? Lol who makes shoes. I'm so mean.

Re: the pictures I think you're too hard on yourself. Jmo. But yeah I get what you're saying about giving things away, I feel similar with my creative writing, very naked and exposed. My regular face who cares because I look different all the time anyway, with makeup without makeup, one hairstyle or another, tan or pale, good diet bad diet, just depends on my mood and what im going through, it's all external, and i have been laughed at for my appearance many times so that fears safely out the window but the wriitng feels like it's coming from inside even if im not using my past or my experiences as fodder. It's funny the different things people are sensitive about.

Lips "aren't bad" you are kidding. People pay hundreds or thousands of dollars (never looked up the price) to have lips like yours and they all walk away looking like crap. You are seriously kidding.

Re: whatever the heck it was that I saw, it wasn't like in the movies. In the movies they're transparent and have this smoky haze surrounding them. The figure I saw was as seemingly "solid" as anyone else but not exactly 3 dimensional, hard to explain but the features didn't appear to have much depth. And no haze whatsoever. It didn't communicate with me through talking, it communicated through its eyes..the way you can look at a person with a certain thought in your mind and convey that to them, no words needed. Our eye contact was the channel of communication.

Edited. If you saw what I wrote before don't quote it.

Dammit, I didn't see what you wrote before editing...I was saving this thread like a letter to open at a good time. Anticipation is half the fun for me and I do that with real letters, emails, and posts...leave them on my desk/inbox/etcetera...like "money in the bank" that I'm hoping will give me a mood lift when I need one. Which is often.

Now I'm learning NOT to do that with threads because unlike real letters or email, they vanish!!

K, so I am replying to what's left here now, even though I'm maybe only about 50% caffeinated, meaning only 50% the fun.

That is hysterical about the OCD firework people. !!!

Also laughing because my Libra moon hubby made his own shoes before, too. Flip-flops, though. I've only seen pictures, I was an infant when he made them. He had tan, handsome feet at the time, so maybe he just had a spell of foot vanity. Like, "Hmm why don't I make my own revealing footwear, to encourage people to look at my awesome feet??" LOL

T,T,TMI: It's my instinctive urge to call feet "sooties" all the time because that's what Elvis and his mother called them between themselves. It's English is my second language about feet...first language is Elvis baby talk.

Why on earth would people laugh at your appearance? I guess you just have a unique style? But the pictures you showed are very hip and artsy, yet normal. Hmm.

The one time I remember people openly laughing at me...I was at a Stereolab concert in Philly, wearing my 70's powder blue, clingy, terry-cloth tank top with white trim. I loved that tank top and paired it with whatever I felt like pairing it with. It all made sense to me. But these girls looked at me, got a fit of giggles, and wouldn't shut up.

It's funny having a Cap sun square Pluto, and a Pisces moon. I thought, "I could seriously knock both of them out right now. Should I punch them out?" Then: "Aw, they're probably just having a bad night." And walked on.

So many people were staring at me that night that I figured I must have gotten super high by accident and fallen into delusion, or the fact that I got my hair cut like the singer of the band made people think I might be her? ...'Just looked her up on Google images (Laetitia Sadier) and dayum I do look like her, especially in photos where she looks bad! ROTFL

^ That's her, and I did look just like that, that night, with the hair and pointy nose sticking out. She has lovely, high cheekbones, though, and smiling makes her look almost like a different person.

Still, people prolly laugh at her sometimes, too. Weird style + a face that puffs in odd little places. C'est la vie, they laugh at Lady Gaga, too, and she gets rich off of it.

I think you described the best kind of firework there is. Though at the fireworks display we watched Saturday, they kept launching these double-ring ones...someone behind me yelled "Saturn!" and that was it. Green Saturn with a tilted purple ring.

Someone else complained that there weren't enough red, white, and blue fireworks and I said, "That's globalization for you! Thank Obama for that!" with a big smile. Being completely random and enigmatic since they don't know what I think of globalization or Obama. Well come to think of it, neither do I. It was just out of boredom that I was hoping the New World Order had arrived and announced itself with a firework protocol change. Aquarius Mercury square Uranus in action.

My decorating style is so shifty. Uranus in the 4H. If I could, I would just rent furniture and decorations and rotate them constantly. It's been very cool, but difficult, marrying into a family of furniture-makers; at one point I had two drop-leaf dining room tables in our bedroom, that my father-in-law made, just being stored there. Taking up prime "real estate" that I needed for other things likebookcases. My husband's Cancer ASC makes him sentimental enough that he wants to keep everything his dad made, which is a lot. Plus my husband was in business making blanket chests for a few years, and we have all the spares in every room.

My Ikea dream room would just this huge wave picture they've got, on one wall, with a giant cheap-looking chandelier, fuzzy white rug, some odd-colored (chartreuse anyone?) comfortable chairs. Maybe something to rest drinks on. Weird night of socializing waiting to happen.

Thanks for describing the spirit you saw. The communication is very much like what the NDE people describe happening after death. Direct thought transmission. Also I've read that some of the Buddhist monks...indeed, much of the Tibetan population (according to Matthieu Ricard, in the book The Monk and the Philosopher, just so you know I'm not making it up)...are telepathic like that. I like thinking that that's how things should be.

Then again, I'm just like you, iffy with writing, not really wanting things to be knowable to everyone. So telepathy and mind-reading freak me out. I carry on as if I'm in charge of what I reveal or conceal but more is eeking out than I'm aware of. My face is too accidentally expressive, as I said...and even in my writing, I can go look at old posts here and catch a different tone or sense emotions that I feel sure I wouldn't have wanted to put on display. But here in the future I am more objective about my former vibes. Hope that makes sense.

I wore tinted chapstick to the 4th of July parties we attended and thought of you. "Playing up" my lips. Thanks for helping me appreciate them.

Used to be that I thought, hmm, wonder how long before we run out of topics cos I'm not the most interesting person obvs but yay you carrying on and giving me stuff to reply to lol my saturn 3rd is sooo relieved.

"T,T,TMI: It's my instinctive urge to call feet "sooties" all the time because that's what Elvis and his mother called them between themselves. It's English is my second language about feet...first language is Elvis baby talk."
...just lol. This is cute. You know a lot about him, does he have your Sun/Moon combo? Do you genuinely like his music or movies?
I was thinking about your Elvis thing when reading this and then Michael Stipe popped in my head, he has your combo plus Venus Sadge i think, do you like his stuff at all? I hear the Pisces Moon I think in a lot of his work? "I don't sleep I dream" do you like that song?

Oh it's not how I dress, I dress pretty normal for my area.
Lol yea punch em out! Hahahh my Mars 3rd would've had fun with that.
Oh I think lady gaga is attractive minus the gunk..she's grown on me a bit, in the beginning I didn't care for her.
I'm starting to think she's kind of adorable?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tk6zhK5zDZo
That's her on jimmy kimmel this year ^

Which makes me think of a clip I saw of JLo and Ellen,
If you haven't seen i think you should watch for the major Leo and Aqua vibes here being exchanged starting round 3:07 I think they're funny together I've always liked Ellen anyway I remember her sitcom before she hit it big.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dSlg_lloLNE

Yeah there's something kinda girly bout those Libra Moon men!!
Even Christopher Meloni hunk of hunks (aries, hello!) shows up like this,

It's like there's a gender identity crisis just always threatening to burst out and be like "bam! do you like the new me!?!"

Hmm the Laetitia lady, her face is a bit masculine, I don't think you look like her much, I would say...this indie actress whom I can't place right now. I think her name is lily something. Lili Taylor,

Except your features are a bit sharper but I think there's similarity there.

I was reading this "Taking up prime "real estate" that I needed for other things like" and I was anticipating things like (my sex toy collection, an in room spa, chaise lounge, bar cart) and instead there's "bookcases" and I'm thinking "noooooo whyyyy!" Haha. Just messing. But seriously do you own a bar cart? I've been in the market for over a year, a nice one at a good price is hard to find! I feel like I might need to turn to ebay and run the risk of getting one draped in accidental fur. Fur allergy =/= secondhand.

I misplaced ,while cleaning ,the filter for my shower head (that wasn't a great shower head anyway) so it turned into a daily miserable bathing experience. Finally broke down got a new one, happy that they were relatively inexpensive, and dang there are some excellent options out there! I walk out of the shower now ready to conquer. I recommend a new one to anyone who doesn't feel like they've just been to the spa when they get out of that shower. For some reason the new one also allows the water to heat up faster? I don't even know how that's possible but it's awesome. I'm taking this one with me if I move, the old one the next inhabitant can have ^-^ ill just get a new filter for it hehe.

Hello again finally! My real life has been busy for once...full moon in Cap kicked my a$$ and reminded me that I'm supposed to be a workaholic.

Thanks for the videos...both were good! The fact that you sent them to me, and they are so goofy, just makes me happy. Like you are effervescent.. (do you drink bubbly drinks?)..and this is like mental champagne? That's how it felt.

Yeah I like all those gals! Ellen amazes me by being constantly alert, never missing a beat. J-Lo never gets old, she's like a Catholic saint already, the kind with incorruptible bodies that end up in glass coffins with people paying a lot to visit them. Lady Gaga is like Elvis, down-to-earth person with outrageous costumes. More on him later...

quote:
It's like there's a gender identity crisis just always threatening to burst out and be like "bam! do you like the new me!?!"

OMG that is so frickin funnnnnyyy!!!
Especially now that I just checked astrotheme's list of Libra moon celebrities and you're right!

Leonardo DiCarpio: girly
Justin Beiber: don't even have to say it
Madame Blavatsky: looks like a dude

Christopher Meloni, he looks familiar, but...but...my mind is sputtering and failing to connect him with a movie name or anything. He actually reminds me of someone I know in real life. I'm trying not to say "my dad," though that's partly true...trying to eek out just a bit more brainpower to place him...oh I got it!!! He looks like my friend's Leo ex. I only met him once so...took a lot of mental energy to, like, match the memory cards.

I was going to say no, this doesn't really apply, my husband is uber masculine, a grease monkey, can build or fix anything, ice climber/runner, lots of sweaty, dirty stuff, etc. But yeahhhh... he did knit his own socks last winter, and he did have a rose garden when I met him. He tears up about poignant things, loves opera, drinks his tea with his pinky raised and slightly curved. That's probably what you mean?

He's an interesting mix of characteristics that one doesn't often find together. Writing all of that made me want to hug him.

Sorry if I seem narcissistic liking Elvis. Embarrassing but true, we have the same sun-moon combo, plus a bunch of other synastry conjunctions: His ASC conjunct my Neptune exact, his Mars on my Pluto, his Jupiter on my NN, his NN on my Mercury, his Uranus on my chiron. But I didn't know about any of that when I became interested in him...just about the matching birthdays.
I've watched maybe half of his movies...he loathed making them, and it makes me sad to know they were literally killing him, in a way, with creative death preceding the actual...and I listen to his music often, but haven't heard everything. I don't feel like I need to. It's actually really hard to describe the effect he has on me, just hearing him or seeing him in anything from a solid performance to drug-addled interview. Earlier today I was rummaging through YouTube videos looking for something I might be able to show you, to explain my fascination and maybe light your own little candle of Elvis love if you don't have that going yet, but no *one* video seems sufficient to put it across...someone once said...and I just googled the quote to get it precise:

"If you're an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary; If you're not an Elvis fan, no explanation is possible."

You and he both have Scorpio Jupiter It rocks. And his moon is conjunct your sun.

Yes, I like Michael Stipe, and thank you for that song...never heard it before. Strangely I've never seen him in an interview, only singing. I wonder what he's like in person? I should check. The album Out Of Time is the theme song for an idyllic summer that I spent with my two friends, down the shore, in 9th grade I think.

I think I could comfortably listen to Half a World Away all day long.

I had too much to drink
I didn't think
I didn't think of you!

Wow, isn't that so Sag Venus, Pisces moon? Getting blitzed, flaking out on loved ones, not caring, then caring too much later. LOL

How about you, what are you listening to lately?

Oh and thank you for comparing me to that actress, I loved her in Say Anything, and occasionally...just like lots of girls, I guess...I used to randomly break out in song with...

Now that you mention it, I do see that our expressions/demeanor are similar. Very perceptive of you to pick up on that...I never would have caught it otherwise.

quote:
But seriously do you own a bar cart?

So sad that I have to say "Nooo"! It sounds like such a cool item to have. Plus if I had a bar cart, that would mean I had a bar, and that would mean I have a drinking life. I'm an aspiring alcoholic because I love life so much more when I'm tipsy, but my liver is pathetic and I just can't handle it. But anyway. If you find the bar cart of your dreams, I hope you will post a picture! I think my style might be described as "gaudy austerity"...Taurus SN wants jewels, real or plastic, Scorpio NN wants nothing but me and my existential crisis. So I think my dream bar cart would be gold plated with lots of jewels...like something you'd see in India...in an otherwise sparse room. Maybe some pillows on the floor to fall onto when the drinking gets out of control. hehehe

Weird how much I loved your discussion of your shower filters. It must be our Mercury conjunction and 6H luminaries. I just thrill to hear about the details of cleaning and maintaining things. Plus I wish I had that filter, but my husband is always insisting that the whole-house filtration system he installed is good enough, when the water's taste and calcifying residue on fixtures is saying otherwise. Our other house has water so pristine that there's a bottling company nearby, selling its spring water. We bought the house from actual Germans, gotta love their perfectionism, you can trust them to dig a well 500 feet deep to get the best water possible. Darn I wish they stayed local and I could hire them to make all kinds of decisions for me...but, oh well.

Just chiming in to say I noticed your comment in your music thread about the transiting Full moon and I wanted to say that I remember your Saturn being early Leo, so transit Jupiter will be on that and that can be a really tough time. So i think from your comment you might be feeling that too? I had a hard time with mine, because Saturn is where the boundaries or limits are, where you take things very seriously, and Jupiter is throwing you a fork in the road, a new possibility to break you out, but if you take the new course (or the new course is thrust upon you) it means leaving behind an old way of life and that can be really scary and you can feel really alone so I feel for you there if that's the case. But if your situation isn't as dramatic then /lucky you/ I guess. For me Saturn rules 6th and it coincided with a health problem and being laid off from work as a result. Then Saturn was in the 3rd natally and I had a tough decision to make regarding treatment and how to secure work because i still needed to pay the bills obvs, so I guess the new fork for me was deciding on treatment and then securing a new position. Oh and then Saturn rules 6th (health) placed in 3rd (lower mind) plus other things = tendency to depression and i had some /major/ crying fits then too that just bubbled up out of nowhere. I have a few Cancer and Leo Saturns around me and the Cancer Saturns have been releasing things they've held onto for a while, more by necessity than choice, but not very pleasant on one hand, then otoh less of a burden so..some good, some not so, both feelings related to the same situation, so a bit bittersweet i guess. But then again I think it's important also the house that Saturn rules too. My partner has it ruling his 7th, probably doesn't bode well in terms of us but we'll see. I believe it falls in his 2nd..which might actually pertain to some real life things in terms of me possibly entering a new field and a financial shift because of that. Time will tell.

I kind of fall back from responding to you sometimes because I know when I do I'll end up writing a lot and I don't want to run out of things to say and make it weird.

And then for me, I've had this weird tsquare, natal Chiron 18 taurus 10th, progressed Venus 18 aqua 7th, transit Saturn mid/late Scorp 4th, and I think I'm settling more on the idea that I'm better off alone without a relationship...which might actually reflect the p.Aries Sun/Moon too. It's weird I say that because Saturns not even in my 5th but I think it's this b*tch of a tsquare happening. And then I have my regular Sun/Uranus rebellion thing happening where part of me wants to break out of the relationship I'm in now to make my life less complicated. Even tho he's aries he's Aries disposited by Mars in Pisces with a cancer Asc, and he can be really needy and dependent. And he's like some of the others were, pushing me to marriage and I'm still firmly against that and he's still thinking he's the marrying type (this would be his 2nd, plus he has Moon trine Saturn ruling Asc/Dsc). He wants the security of the thing but that's not me. He keeps telling me I'm good for him and when he does that all I can feel is the noose tightening around my neck. I must have my birth date wrong because at times like these I don't even feel like a Venus/Moon capricorn because they're supposed to want what's traditional. I mean I am reserved/aloof/traditional in some ways but not /all the way/. Plus I have Saturn Venus mutual reception I guess I should want that commitment but I don't feel it's me. So. It's possible I'll be ending this soon. Surprise surprise.
And then non-relationship oriented i got some heart breaking news a few months back which I think reflects the tsquare too, or at least the square since its venus/chiron. But it's something I haven't told anyone and from where I stand I may keep it to myself for a /long time/. And the friggin progression isn't even exact yet;that's the funniest part.

"Thanks for the videos...both were good! The fact that you sent them to me, and they are so goofy, just makes me happy. Like you are effervescent.. (do you drink bubbly drinks?)..and this is like mental champagne? That's how it felt."
---I have bubbly moments then I have moments where I relay things like the above and people scatter and i unsurprisingly find myself alone if I'm with good company and in a decent mood I'm good fun. I must've been in a lighthearted mood. I don't tolerate alcohol well actually, I get tipsy quickly. But yes I like bubbly fun drinks. Sometimes ill make a small drink in the late morning/early afternoon on the weekends to take the edge off what I think will be a stressful situation and then afterwards I remember, "ooh I can't walk or think as straight as I did before" and while it takes away one sort of stress it replaces it altogether with a completely different one! /laugh/ I then could theoretically use a drink to combat the effects of a drink. If I didn't have to go anywhere or do anything.

"J-Lo never gets old, she's like a Catholic saint already, the kind with incorruptible bodies that end up in glass coffins with people paying a lot to visit them."
---(big laugh) Now /that/ is some good material!
Maybe it's the tan but yea I can see a bit of the leathery appearance there.

"Christopher Meloni, he looks familiar, but...but...my mind is sputtering and failing to connect him with a movie name or anything."
---Law and order Svu and some gritty drama geared toward men so I didn't watch it.

"He tears up about poignant things, loves opera, drinks his tea with his pinky raised and slightly curved. That's probably what you mean?"
---Oh wow. Ok well it's good he does other things as mentioned to keep his manner balanced?
Sort of on the same topic but sort of not, what do you think about the Americans who impersonate the British men who cross their legs like women? They think it makes them look smarter and more cultured but to me it looks like they're maybe trying to hide a small package? What say you?
I always (ok not always but a lot) think in terms of "if I were a man would I do such and such?" And as a theoretical man I couldn't handle that. Id be the guy with the ankle resting on the other thigh. Maybe combined with my arms clasped behind my neck just hanging out like a comfy monkey. But the girl pose, heck no!

"Sorry if I seem narcissistic liking Elvis"
---Nope not at all. That would be more like you having plastic surgery to look like him. Something like that.

"his Jupiter on my NN"
---Oh, are you inspired by him in some way? The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction of Steve Jobs falls on my NN and I was always fascinated watching him speak on internet video at his apple conferences or in interviews or anywhere. I always felt like he was delivering a message that a lot of people needed to hear. Or at least I felt what he had to say was really poignant and i always admire awesome public speakers. I think he was pretty quotable too, maybe his Aries Moon,

quote:
“Remembering that you are going to die one day is the best way to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. Follow your heart.” ― Steve Jobs

That quote always makes me tear up, maybe because of my morbid chart. Btw his Mercury is in Aqua so that too. For some reason I get emotional thinking of his passing away. I take it personally which is really weird as I'm not that concerned with people in the public eye; definitely wish he would've stayed around.

Yeah, no, sorry but I will refrain from entering the Elvis temple. I hope you don't mind. I just looked at his chart and no wonder. His Uranus/Pluto square turns my Moon/Venus/Pluto into a grand cross. Yikes. I can't even imagine meeting someone like that in person. His uranus squares my moon by 10 minutes and his pluto opps my venus by 8 minutes. *quickly heads for the exit*

Hmm but oddly enough his Asc is conjunct the Asc of the u.s., both 12 sagittarius in the most commonly accepted chart.

"his Uranus on my chiron"
---Oh that's an interesting one, I do like that conjunction in transit. In synastry it'd be like his influence opens you up to new ways of interpreting your world....which might jive with Neptune on his Asc as he becomes the vehicle for the concrete existence of some ideal or wish of yours.
Which begs the question, how does it feel to have your Neptune conjunct the Asc of the U.S.?

"and maybe light your own little candle of Elvis love if you don't have that going yet"
---hahahha /such/ a Pisces Moon thing to say. That's cute. I will give my candle to you.

"If you're an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary; If you're not an Elvis fan, no explanation is possible."
---Literal LoL. Yup makes perfect sense. I'm not knocking you, but I can't understand it. But I hope you meet someone if not already who gets it. Me, ill be crying in my weird moments about why Steve jobs was taken away. And I'm not kidding about that either. It's very strange. I have a very private emotional sort of devotion i guess. Or just a very specific mental defect.

"You and he both have Scorpio Jupiter It rocks"
---Hmm...benefits when you let go of what you thought you needed. Being acutely aware of good and evil forces at work in the world. Kinda sucks. I'll just adopt your more positive pov to it and call it a day! Prob one of the few good things about it is intense self-assurance. We put a lot of effort into finding a spiritual or religious path that will serve us well because our faith is tested intensely at times. We can be forceful but it's due more to our conviction that we're on the right path, no matter if that's objectively true or not. But a jupiter in scorp who hasnt undergone that intense search, or who has lost their way is in a very sad state. Because things get dark /very quickly/. Ellen has this one too, Elton John. Oh and the singer from Live who wrote "Lightning Crashes." I really tuned into that song when it came out, then when older I looked at his chart and thought "wow, matching jupiters plus his sun is on my NN, makes sense." Cos that song, it's lyrics, basically describes the theme of my entire life, that's my friggin nodes and everything attached to it in one song. Elton John's "Last Song" that's another one when it came out on the soundtrack to "And the band played on" (aids documentary, came out on hbo, but i have it now on dvd its gooood). I had it on repeat. I like a lot of his songs actually. Then I remember Seal's song around the same time that I liked (prayer for the dying), when I went to look him up I thought for sure jupiter in Scorpio but no, Pisces Jupiter trine Scorpio Neptune (which makes sense for the song) BUT it was released as a single when transit Jupiter was in Scorpio. So. Indirectly related kinda sorta not really kinda thing.
Then there's also Ted Bundy and Charles Manson. Every family needs some eccentrics.
I'm envious of Jupiter in Libra tbh their lives always look so light and easy. But otoh they also look thrown about by the people they get into cahoots with so there's that too :/

Ok getting kind of late, will reply to the rest later cos I need to post something in 2.0

Seriously though! I hit a car today for the first time in over fifteen years. Tr sun-Jupiter conjunct my Saturn.

Totally crazy day.

More later, just wanted to say this prediction came true.

Faith, sorry to hear that Were you hurt at all, do you feel nervous about driving? Mars is in your 3rd (?) and that tMercury square tUranus was exact today. Ugh I can believe it, there's so much crap going on in the bigger world, in our little worlds. I dropped the comal on my toes this morning, just slipped right out of my hand. Oh but I didn't write that thing about Jupiter/Saturn to predict just putting a different spin on things I guess..hope you didn't read it as self fulfilling prophecy. tMars sq tJupiter can be accident prone too :/

Thanks! I had to look up what a comal is...OUCH! Do you use arnica for bruises? Hope that's healing ok.

I've seriously been a mess. It was just a "fender bender" in the parking lot, no one's hurt but...hard to describe. Makes me wonder WTF I'm doing with my life.

I was arguing with my Cancer son when it happened. Our pr composite Mars is at 29 Cancer, more or less square my IC (@29 Libra with the birth time I was given.) We have an exact t-square in our regular composite~

18 Aries Mercury
18 Libra sun
18 Cap Neptune

Plus
18 Leo Saturn
20 Scorpio Pluto

Uranus transiting conjunct comp Mercury...tr Chiron is conjunct our comp Chiron (21 Pisces)...

There's never any doubt that we love each other, but he doesn't listen to anything I tell or ask him to do, and it drives me nuts. He's got this fearless Mars conjunct Saturn in his first house, sextile Mercury and widely trine Pluto. Little hot shot.

He's standing here arguing with me as I type. My Gem Mars is multi-tasking.

So thanks again for telling me about tr Jupiter on your Saturn. Not a prediction but a helpful note in advance. I'm sorry that you had a health problem and lost your job at the same time...brutal. But that's how I see Jupiter Scorpio and its "intense self-assurance" as you said, pulling you through. Whereas, I don't know how I would make it, if the same thing happened to me. Guess I would just fall apart and become a ward of the state. Then focus on chewing that roadkill or whatever they feed you, like 100x per bite to try and prevent tapeworms. That'd be my big plan.

I'm half-joking, I think my Aries Jupiter finds its "luck" in schemes that find me in a child's position? Scary.

It's a shame I never did work enough to support myself. That is one of my big regrets...or things I can't wait to do, with a change of circumstance. Even though my 10H SN has been felt, let's just say.

quote:
And then for me, I've had this weird tsquare, natal Chiron 18 taurus 10th, progressed Venus 18 aqua 7th, transit Saturn mid/late Scorp 4th

Whoa! That does look like a "b*tch of a t-square." Though I envy single people and part of me is cheering for you, chanting "Escape! Escape!"

But I know, easier said than done...and no offense intended towards your partner. And I would be lonely and probably desperate/increasingly pathetic if I were single. My codependent streak would have no outlet for expression.

Anyway, following all that you wrote about it, I can see why you'd want to stay single...except for the Venus-Saturn mutual reception and the Cap Venus-moon...does look like a noose may be in your future? You asked about the synastry of commitment @ Interpersonal forum and this isn't synastry so I didn't answer...but I think what made my husband convert from die-hard bachelor to suddenly engaged was the combination of the compelling geometry of our composite chart, along with transits. We have a kite in composite, with Chiron at the apex conjunct my moon. Jupiter was transiting that apex when we got engaged after one date. And other transits were putting emphasis on our synastry "chains," most notably (and pardon me if you've seen me say this a hundred times) tr Pluto tightly conjunct my Venus and his Saturn. And I'm sure there's more to it...hang on let me grab the chart...

K, our progressed composite at the time had a stellium in Scorpio: NN (15), Mercury (20...conjunct my natal NN), Neptune (22), sun (28), Venus (29).

I could go on, just wanted to voice my opinion about how...fate? karma?...lured my husband to the altar. Hope it doesn't screw you over the same way =) but if it does eventually, I hope your spouse is adorable and sweet.

Gotta take my kids to summer camp, if I can prevent my little bit of sanity from evaporating over the course of the day, I might be able to finish later.

What were we talking about...?

Oh right, Elvis. As usual.

LOL

Do you want to hear something really far-out crazy weird? As my oldest son gets older, he looks more and more like The King. I didn't plan it!!! No plastic surgery or hair dye...he looks like a young Elvis, with the blondish hair. I mentioned this to a friend, assuming she would just laugh it off, but she kind of did a double take and said, "OMG you're RIGHT. He does! How strange that YOU of all people would end up with a son that looks like Elvis!" The fact that I have another witness makes it real.

hehehehehehhe

So I'm always trying to talk my son into letting me slick up his hair and use temporary dye on it, to see if the resemblance jumps out at anyone...he always says No.

quote:
"his Jupiter on my NN"
---Oh, are you inspired by him in some way?

Yes, very much. He was a mystic...you kinda have to read his biographies or put a lot of time into cutting through all the kitsch to see that...but he was. Even the skeptical/downright stupid Memphis Mafia guys tell stories of him being psychic, having a healing touch, being telekinetic, making the rain fall at will

That's what intrigues me the most...and that's what I hear coming through his voice...sort of like listening to some of these Buddhist monks, who seem so aware and like they are messengers from another dimension.

quote:
Yeah, no, sorry but I will refrain from entering the Elvis temple. I hope you don't mind.

It's all good, I can do the libations, etcetera, for both of us...

Not done talking yet, just have to accomplish some work around the house for once.
