And the fact that Mods are also humans, with feelings, just like everyone else here.

Clearly this rule is not being upheld with the same strictness and standard as it is to users.

Also, did you just nominate BG? If I may be honest, I do not think she is a suitable candidate. This is not a question of right or wrong, like or dislike, but someone who has either been constantly the target of attacks or has targeted attacks at others should not be put in such a position. You are exhibiting favoritism here and this will only create tension. No offense, Barbie. I am just being as rational and objective as I can. I would also not agree to Faith or Bella or DF being mods for similar reasons.

Being honest.

I argue and discuss because I value my ideals and I have a strong voice and use it because I refuse to be belittled. If people have a problem with it, they don't have to contribute to the reopening of a thread topic. If people do not like it, they can chill about and avoid the issue.

I don't like to avoid issues that I think are important. I refuse to succumb to flawed rules and policies be it on a website or in the constitution. It's a matter of principle and I am highly principled and will not apologize or change my attitude because others aren't or see not use for them.

Because her and Ami are "friends" now. He rejected every other mod nomination because they either (1) do not like her, or (2) stand a threat to her.

None of the above are good choices because we are very strong in our beliefs.

You realize this is going to turn into tag team shi.t?

Favoritism? Are you serious? I'm the one who chooses the Mods, so this being the sole method of Mod election, how does favoritism figure into it? I choose people I trust. It's really as simple as that. And she is more than qualified.

You know how much I adore everyone I mentioned up there but truth is truth. And I know very well how to separate feelings from thoughts and ideals. Thanks for respectfully and open-mindedly seeing my point. You're right though. I can see very well how SP will become even more problematic but I will reserve judgment until I see how it all goes down. Better yet, I might just avoid it. The level of unfairness here has nauseated me enough.

Ok, future social "justice" lawyer, explain why out of nowhere you choose this nomination when we debated months over picking a mod?

List the qualifications then.

I don't choose based on friendships. Several of my Mods don't get along at all. She is rational. And that's what Sweet Peas needs.

Ha okay. Well I will say this, I have never EVER treated anyone the way I have been constantly treated by some here. Yes I stand high and mighty for what I believe in, but I am always being criticized for it, for what I think or say here. Every "dispute" that I've been in was not caused by me but simply because of what I said and it not being liked. How would any of you react to being treated like dog crap under a shoe? You would react similarly or like some much worse.

Not sure why its going around that I'm Randall's favorite, we don't talk anywhere else outside of LL.

So, this explains the Lets Make Sweet Peas a Safe Place disappearance, huh. That thread did not malfunction.

Explain to me what T said was wrong. I have heard very nasty things said to posters here and you DGAF to close threads so quickly.

You don't think T's character has been assassinated by that rabid vulture who is practically drooling on the keyboard waiting to strike?

These aren't answered either.

Ok, Randall. I would cut my arm off if your choice didn't involve any kind of bias or strategism.

If you wouldn't allow any of the people I mentioned to be mods (which you wouldn't), you would also see why the same should apply to Barbie.

Why is it okay for a mod to say disgusting things about women but when someone politely disagrees about gender the thread is locked?

Why is it okay to ask people numerous times about getting new mods but rejecting every single choice?

You realize all of the problems started in SP (yes, I did my research and went through the beginning) when the power balance started to be unequal.

Or these.

No offense. Honesty is honesty. Barbie, you cannot deny whether or not you started fights (I'm certainly not accusing you and absolutely withholding bias), that you were, in the very least, the main protagonist in many of them? Is that not true? Can we set aside our emotions and be objective?

Throw a guess. And if you think I'm trying to pitch myself, then you are sooooooooo wrong. Why not PixieJane? She would be excellent.

PisceanDream,
Actually Randall is correct. He has verbaly warmed Ami Anne in a couple forums. I am providing you 2 links. One to get the gist of the reason of that warning and the actual warning thread.
There are more at Global Unity if you sincerely wish to hunt them down.

I use those two because they involve me and a few posters who wouldn`t mind .

** disclaimer** they are highly sensitive issues and may be unnerving .

Ok well have a good night ladies. I said what I felt needed to be said and now there's no point in continuing the back and forth. It solves zilch.

Thank you so much, Juni, for providing evidence. However, she is not a moderator in that thread. I am not only discussing modship, but a forum where a mod is actively a mod.

Barbie gets the mod offer just to p*ss you (Bella) off and be divisive. Simple.

That's how it works.

Randall, if you wanted to honor Barbie and seem serious that you were impressed with her credentials, you could have done it months ago, more publicly.

The timing of this offer is circumspect.
